I think youve got it about right now! I was gonna say the same as the other guys. Seems like they reveg better with just a few lower left on.

Ive still found it kind of hit or miss... some plants flip back real quick, some seem to refuse to make the change.

Biggest thing Id stress is patience. Ive had a couple reveg attempts take way longer than expected. But as long as she looks healthy just keep at it.
Thanks for your input and support Brother.
Much appreciate it!

Just wanted to drop a couple of photos of one of the next girls in line.
This is Red Congolese x Garlic Breath. (Do we have a catchy name for this yet?)
The structure is very similar to the Skittles Breath that I just harvested.
Easy going grow so far, and she is starting to stack up.
I have two plant and they appear to be of different phenos, but still similar.
These pics are from the same plant.
Today is day 53 from flip.

IMG_1202.JPG IMG_1204.JPG

BTW, several of the top colas of the Skittle Breath were too big to fit in quart jars, so I had it improvise with a gallon bucket.

I can't wait to get this tested.

Cheers,

Come As You Are
Looks great! Especially that RC x GB?

FWIW, I've reveged three plants. I focus on the lowest buds. The less material on the branches, the easier it is for the plant to expend energy focusing on a few sites than multiple. Personally I would reduce it to two branches and concentrate on that.

Hey Gang,
Update on the Shere Khan, day 59 of flowering.
@Frimpong
Two phenos, as I mentioned, very similar, but still a little different.
This is the slightly shorter of the two...
IMG_1212.JPG IMG_1213.JPG

And the taller...

IMG_1214.JPG IMG_1215.JPG

As always, no extra charge for the dog hair in the pics. ;)

On the topic of re-vegging of the Skittle Breath, I don't think things are going well.
Everything is browning up, and no signs of new growth.
I've never done this and don't quite know what to expect.
I will give it a bit more time and post up some pics.
Sure doesn't look good to me.

Cheers,
WillieP

Hey All,
Just an update on the re-veg attempt...

IMG_1223.JPG IMG_1224.JPG IMG_1225.JPG

I'm putting this attempt in the "unsuccessful" category.

This thing is as dead as...
-a doorknob.
-last year's bird's nest.
-Cleopatra's cat.
-ect...

I gave it 17 days, with no signs of improvement, and made the call to pull it from the tent.

Good news is that I have more seeds of this.

I just de-carbed some of this yesterday and will have butter to try shortly.

Everything else in veg and flower are doing well.
RKS and Shere Khan in flower.
BBSC and Cherry Kool-Aid in veg.

Cheers,
WillieP

Sorry the reveg did not pan out. I've been out of the reveg loop for years myself. I finally started gaining ground, once I removed all the growth sites but 4-6 it came right back. It doesn't seem right, but it is!

Thanks Roz,
I kinda feel like I need to re-veg the next plant that I harvest just so I can figure out how to successfully do this.
It is a skill that would come in handy. (and one that I obviously don't have.)
Thanks for the advise.
Cheers,

PS
At one point a while back, I cut a male plant off about 1 1/2 inches above the soil. (just left the sump)
I was just shit-canning it. I set it outside the tent and forgot about it.
Didn't water it...nothing...zero care what-so-ever.
Who knows how long later... I look over and it has new growth coming off the stem.
Maybe the trick is to try and kill it...

The longer in flower work on the same time coming out of reveg... I'm not the king of reveg by any means but I revegged about 10 plants outdoors this year and a few indoors this year. If you want to speed up the process and make the effort much more successful, like @pwnysays
Cut it back to basically a couple of buds at the bottom. I'm also experimenting with cutting the bud back to very little so it has more light and more energy to reveg. Don't give up on your plant mate if you want to keep that cut. Keep soil moist not wet. It's going to sit there do sweet bugger all on the surface for a while.

What Up Gang???
Photo update on the flower tent...
Day 67 of flower.

Starting off we have an overall shot.
Two on the left are Shere Khan, one on the right is Road Kill Skunk.

This is a RKS top cola...

This is the plant in the middle's top cola and lower...
IMG_1234.JPG
IMG_1240.JPG

And lastly the plant of the left top cola...
IMG_1236.JPG

Based solely on appearance, I would choose the plant in the center out of the three.
Both of the Shere Khans have been carefree. Feed, water and forget.
The RKS didn't seem to like something I was doing to her. May have been the nutrients. All three were in the same environment, RKS just wasn't as happy about it. I'm confident it was grower error and not the plant's fault.

I did look at them with a scope, not quite there yet. Looks like maybe another week or so.

Cheers,
WillieP

And, you're on to something there that I think a lot of us miss/forget fairly easily... This plant is an absolute survivor!?

It's very easy to over water and over care for these beloved plants. Honestly, much of the time, they tend to grow much better the less I intervene (so long as the soil has at least most of what it needs and temps aren't too crazy)?
I've killed off plenty of plants for 'loving' them 'too much' and then, on the other hand, surviving plants that I wrote off and showed no love, left em for dead, but they refused to die... It's wild. It's intriguing. It's educational. It's life learning. It's. Growing. It's everything! ??

Hey Gang,
It's been a while since I've updated.
Sometimes life gets in the way.
Yesterday was harvest day in the flower tent.
All three plants came down.
I let everything go really deep. 88 days from flip!
We will see what effect that will have!
Here's a shot of some of the lowers on one of the Shere Khan.
What a beautiful plant she turned out to be.
IMG_1280.JPG

I am attempting to Re-Veg her.
I gotta learn how someday...

I have 2 BBSC and 3 Cherry Kool-Aid plants in Veg looking great.
I need to look through the vault and see what is next on the hit parade.

Cheers,
WillieP

OK Guys and Gals,
I ran into one that I have not seen before, and I thought I would show it to y'all and see if this is a thing that happens.
I was trimming out the RKS. It had been hanging in a basement, at 62*F and 46 % humidity for 7 days.
I found two different spot that looked like this...

IMG_1285.JPG

While attempting to photograph this spot, I moved the bud enough to disturb the liquid.
It appeared to be the consistency of honey.
It reminded me of the way they described amber being made in Jurassic Park. Just without any dinosaur DNA.

IMG_1289.JPG IMG_1290.JPG

Has anyone else ever ran into this before? It's a first on me.
I'm not going to throughout my thoughts until I get some feedback from the more experienced folk round here.

Cheers,
WillieP
