What I have read is 5 weeks is a minimum for mature seed, I have always gone longer than that. Keeping in mind the timeframe for mature bud you are reporting is peak bud harvest likely and plants can certainly go way beyond peak, so the question becomes are you willing to wait?

Chatting, a few posts back about timing the male flips.
I kinda saw it going that way, and sho’nuff, the RomulanGrapefruit is bursting ; leaving peckertracks amongst the foliage.
I am okay with that. All the girls in my flower-room have fat, thumb size buds that should be good to receive .

Herein may lie may lie a folly: despite their age {+100days of 24/7} neither my GkFunk nor 2Stroke are mature.
Not typically impatient, I am counting on my fingers here, in regards to my Affie aspirations.
I just don’t see any Tangie pollen in less than 2 weeks. I could be very wrong , it may happen faster then I can perceive . Looking at that 2Stroke I can barely tell that it is male.
Again, therein lies the problem. If I hit that Affie in two weeks : I am hitting a 55 day plant - on day 35.
A seed will develop in a concrete timeframe ?
Uncoached, I would just run that preg Affie out until it was good and dead. Not looking for peak tricho’s,,,right? Looking to give time for seed maturation?

How late, can I successfully seedrun a plant?
Did I miss my window for “Dirty Taffy” ?

pollination should happen in week 3-4 of bloom ....hope all good ur way ~

Oooh, I can wait, I can wait reeeal good. Got a couple sensi’s to get me by.

hope all good ur way ~

Dope, like the rope on soap.

Maybe I have Tangie pollen by 28 days? Not looking likely.

The females are now 21 days, Rom Spunk is g2g - I guess I should start working with what I got.

Perhaps the clever Jewels would stuff a fresh baby Affie clone into flower. Virgin witness to the second coming ?
,,,,too far @SmithsJunk ?

Not sure what this eagerbeave is up to.
About 12 inch I'd say.

I may give someone else centre stage. This Ma-TiVa is bounds ahead. My Philoseeds finish 'lil quicker, that would work.
Final musical chairs this week. Branch pollination, and lash them into the stardard firing position.

I have eradicated the borg- veg and flower. Last sighting early Mars.
No more fullflipsht, first one comes out June 16'ish; it will be replaced before nightfall.
That oven has hit the sweet spot, I will be perpet'ing those in there, as fast as I can pull them out.

Pro’ly old hat, for many folks.
First time for this guy.

From what I understand, there is enough pollen in this photo to make a bdozen seeds.
In deep now, gonna push on, to see I can successfully store viable pollen.
One thing I do have going for me, beginners luck ,,, my other two males are so far behind that there is absolutely no chance of contaminated pollen harvest.
I won’t be greedy. Couple more days and this thing will be hooded and disappeared. Seen THAT here before.

Usually use a LG G7. I damaged the battery in December, when refurbishing the lcd. She recently went nuclear, and puffed up fat.
While waiting on a battery, I started using an iPhone 6s. The iPhone cannot make intelligent differentiations in contrasts. Anything over lit, will render bleached out in the photo.
I was recently able to dig out my old LG G5. It does much better.

Really happy with all the GK Genetics. I have Ground Pounder and God O War going on 3 weeks.
Paladin is boom blooming, and Funk‘n’A’ smells devilishishly of tart kiwi. Kqiwifi ?

I saw the ‘yougrow’ legends in your nursery. Good show. Also, saw you were looking around for banan. Sorry, can’t help you out, however, I did see a bananafanatic lately , on the intro thread.
I see that zkittles show up in the melon strains I have been admiring. Banana sounds fun.

Frost is off here. I had to completely dig out the lower hutch, Æthena found a spot in her tunnel system , that allowed her escape last fall. Luckily, she didn’t go far.
Sometimes you don’t get a second chance. Some things are sacred to me.
I wired that bun in tight, I could never forgive myself, if I were to lose her.

Saw a Red Finch today, and a baby Meadowlark. Colour is hard to find on the prairie. Brown most of the time, otherwise white. Makes me appreciate the good stuff.
Hope this find you well @Seed of Memory

Now that males are out, did some rearranging.
Ugly but viable clones in front. 3-pack of Rom Grapefruit, and the right side, on the saucer is Affie and Jack.
There is a three pack of Ground Pounder , from seed, in front of the domes.
20200522_201657.jpg
Backside is all 420 pop. 10 or so wickeddelish Tangie crosses, and some God O War in the back.

Everything's telling me to let 'er buck, I just love blowing them up. However, I don't want to end up with another bamboo forest. Too stuffy, too risky. Whatever wanysbto bite me in the ass, would have lots of room to hide in that stand.
I will dutifully top and slowly up-pot them all.
They start disappearing out of here in 4 weeks or so. I have this devious plan , where I start slipoing the Sativas in, as I harvest the quicker indicas coming up.
I will have 6 Affies and Grapefruits coming out mid June; to be reloaded by Tangies. The stragglers will be done, and the flower room will be reloaded by mid July.
If it all plays out, my harvest party will also be a back to school party.
That last Covid harvest sucked. I was parenting, working, or trimming 24/7 This one will be even harder, as my cure room wont be near frozen. Now there will be a pressing element of time.

Look @ me bitch'n about weed. How can I complian?
Me lifes a f€kkn pørnõ.

I'm the best I've ever been my friend. The only thing to complain about is furlough and let's ve real, after 3 years of 70 hour work weeks I'm not complaining much. I just need something to exercise my brain.

Well, the camera works well. Mine is a piece of shit. Depending how you hold it the light will look yellow and you can never get anything in focus. We're looking at buying a real camera.

Great to hear about the @Phylex gear. I can't wait to start mine. Definitely some fun crosses in that gear. I'm partial to diesels but i love this plant and I'll run anything really. Never know, I may like it.

Very glad to hear you saved Athena. I owned one rabbit and it escaped so i deemed myself unworthy of rabbit ownership. Our babies are always our babies. I live vicariously through you with bunnies.

My legend babies are doing phenomenally. He even saved my 3 stretchy BBC crosses and they look awesome. They're gonna have some awesome stems. Wrapped fancy as shit.

I'm glad you can appreciate natural beauty. I find myself here lately just going outside and closing my eyes to enjoy the scents and sounds. Even a city is beautiful. Glad to hear you're well. Haven't heard from you in a bit. And I'm not getting journal notifications so i keep falling behind.

*Slipping,,, sneaking a couple in, as a few finish and come out.

I am licensed and legal here. Still using furtive and covert vocabularies. We Canadians are so polite, we still hide from each other to smoke weed.

@SSGrower , my garage is near-freezing, all winter long. I could hang a whole plant and come back a week later, it would still be fresh.
I won’t be getting away with that anymore, now that the heat is coming on. They will be bone dry or mucky rotten , if I were to try to get away with that , now.

We're looking at buying a real camera.
Meh,, the aperture will never rival an SLR, but the processing power, usability and convenience of a good cell phone camera make them a more economical choice.

Yes, a camera may take a better picture; but , phones are our constant companions. Your phone is charged, powered on, and in your pocket at all times.

A digital camera will be a dinosaur in a couple years. Used or not the battery will be shot ( and un-replaceable) The capability of new tech will double, and the price will drop by half. Usability slips and now I am poese’d off that I need to spend a few Hundies to begrudgingly replace. Too many moving parts. You can’t make a good Rolex, with a Kinder surprise . Oh yeah, you can’t get kinder surprise down there,,,(the P.O.S. is chewing Lupus drugs,,,?,,, and the toys in chocolate eggs are not safe ? Strange world we live in. )

I will be frïïken bored of this phone in 2 years. By then they will be knocken down my inbox, “ Take this phone today, take 2 years to pay! “
