For cloning, I took a tip from @Schwaggy P and started adding a few drops of bleach to the solution I soak my plugs in. You know how bad I struggled with cloning and now I’m at 95%+ success rate
Noted...? You've been crushing keeping lines/clones alive..For cloning, I took a tip from @Schwaggy P and started adding a few drops of bleach to the solution I soak my plugs in. You know how bad I struggled with cloning and now I’m at 95%+ success rate
Very well in my experience? The original clone only at least, as I didn't attempt to clone that S1 I ran that I can recall... Which I really should have cause I liked the live plant and enjoyed the smells and smoke of the S1 better than the original...I still have a lil bit of both left and still prefer the S1. But in any event, the original cloned very well, and very reliably, so if you're getting serious rooters with yours from seed, I'd say they should clone pretty well also? Those AOG girls are some serious rooters inn the pot, how does she clone?
Making my rounds through the tent...
Got the first ItalianCookies @Dino Party to root..

Looks pretty frail thus far, but stem rub is promising, and I have high hopes she'll turn out ok!

But this SlymerSnacks#1 is about to throw down son!!

This SlymerSnacks#1 has been my most reliable grower and cloner so far in this entire grow thus far... Really looking forward to the smoke! Cause I want it all!!
Those look fine and dandy! Cloning is always so finnicky for me. I got my last round to root at 100% but then they took like another two weeks of looking like total shit in the solo cup to actually start doing something. Great work!Making my rounds through the tent...

Sweet! Hope she puts or the goods for ya too?Looking forward to following along Mo and thanks for the response.
I am going to keep this one around for a run or 2 she smells very nice indeed.
Yes she sure is! Thanks. I hope I can keep em all happy to the finish line?if not, this one clones extremely reliably, and I have plenty backups? That SlymerSnacks#1 is one healthy and beautiful plant !
Thanks brotha! Cloning is pretty finicky for a bit of us it seems...I tend to chock it up to, at least for me, to getting a bit too complacent in my ability to grow 'good', so I forget simple/basic steps at times that make or break the attempt..idk... Some strains/phenos just perform/grow/clone better than others, given a particular environment...I don't need to explain these things to you, so I don't know why I'm even trying... I'm high???Those look fine and dandy! Cloning is always so finnicky for me. Send the pic to Arbico. I’m pretty sure @BH works with them a bit to confirm bug idsWassup gang!?
Welp, I just lost one of the AlienOG S1 babies today...the baby one, in post above, that coty's were still stuck in shell (middle one). I think I just blasted it too hard and over saturated the cup when it got solo'd up and it just didn't have the strength to recover afterwards...I had fingers crossed that she'd bounce back... But, found her completely croaked over today after work, beyond return?
Me being curious to investigate further tho? I pulled out my trusty USB cam to scan the soil for pests. Not much, but I did find/spot some movement...

...I took a video too, but I'm not sure how to post those here successfully, as I've tried once or twice in the past with no luck?so I'll skip that for now...
I'm no bug/insect expert by any means, but in any event, to me eyes, the way it looks and after observing the way it moves about, I'm thinking and am pretty darn certain it's a beneficial! But I tried searching a bit and and am still not completely certain. So I could use some help from you find folks identifying this thing...por favor y gracias!!
With that said, and upon first discovery/glance, my PTSD instantly kicked in and thought "Fuck, NO!...Root aphid bastards are back, and with a vengeance!" Killing my babies n shit, ya know... But those were more transparent (soft-boiled) in appearance and didn't move around/work the soil in the same manner as I remember them suckers if coccyx sucking assholes!?Whoosah n goose-frraba m'fer...ohmmm..
But, I did just check Arbico's website and this thing looks very much like a couple mite predators they have listed on the site. So that gives me some hope... But I could still use some consolidating confirmation from my trusted growing peeps?
Agreed they look beneficial bugs, ill email to 100% confirmation just in case. Many bugs look similarWassup gang!?

Hello,
I have confirmation that this is a Box mite (Oribatid mite). They rarely eat plants. They are decomposers. They enjoy fungi, moss, algae, and decomposing matter. If the soil is very rich and very wet they would be attracted to it for sure.
I hope this is helpful.
Thank you,
Robin”
