what makes you say you think you need to back off the megacrop? to me they look great, just curious what you see that I am missing, thanks!

Has a lot of nitrogen for flower so I’m just going to start lowering the amount of MC and start adding some flowering nutrients.

Prolly the too much N thing. Check out the thread @SSGrower started last night. He's getting it figured out.

I have a carton of eggs I forgot about and if the smell wouldn’t be as horrible as I think it is I would try it. Can’t be stank in’ up the place

Another thing that works is to run your mc through a screen. It will catch the balls that are N. Then you can add back what you see fit.

SCJ will get some legs to em. cfeezie and CoB both got some tall phenos with theirs IIRC?

Same here and at least one of the Pandemic which is why i’m sending them to flower to confirm my suspicions. I’ll probably pop more of the SCJ before summer but right now I’m just trying to keep things perpetual. Too many dudes/herms last time so gotta weed em out faster.

On another note, I’m starting to question my decision to send the suspected males into flower. Send the suspected women into 12/12 early or let em veg longer? They’ll be going from 1.5liter to 2-2.5 gallon pots...

If you are trying to build up your supply and only have small veg plants from seeds, how would you go about it?

If you are trying to build up your supply and only have small veg plants from seeds, how would you go about it?

If I was going for a supply stock I'd max them out for your space imho. Axe the males or keep em in veg if your gonna chuck.
An extra 2 to 4 weeks of veg does a dramatic difference in yeild.
IE: One Jenny clone I did as a seed mom with only a few weeks veg gave me about 2 jars of cured buds. Her same sister clone vegged 3 weeks longer and she gave me about 8 jars.

I'd send the suspected boys into flower so you can free up space while the suspected girls veg a bit longer. Then as the boys go, the vegging girls will have more room to flower out once you get sex figured out on everything....that is unless you are planning a chuck at some point like JL2G mentioned..

Yeah I’ll stick to the original plan of sending the boys to flower while the girls veg a bit more. I was planning to save pollen but the Big Rona done messed up my plans. We shall see.

I think it was @Uncle Rom that has sifted the white balls out of mc. Pretty sure they are cal-nit. I dont wanna lose the calcium so I'm working with adding WCaP made from eggshells seems to be going well both in soil and in my new f&d setup.

@macsnax thanks for the tag, @AlienAthena has got it going on! with as balanced as this site is in almost all other regards, we need a dose of estrogen once and a while.

With regard to restocking I say it depends on the need how low are reserves? Later to flower later to harvest as long as plants are sexually mature or at least teenagers. I just dropped a couple seedlings into flower cause I am getting boyish vibe off some teens that went in about a week ago, and I got a drag race going on right now.

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment! My jars are nearly empty but the Lucky 7 looks about a week away from harvest while the Bridezilla is 2-3 weeks behind so I’m not too worried. I’ll be sending the Bittersweet and Moon Juice into flower later this week after taking a couple of clones.

I usually don’t drop as many Reg seeds as I did this round but it’s looking like at least half will be boys and I’m just trying to decide if I want to waste 2 gallons to figure out 100% or just chop em now and move on. I have a lot of seeds so that’s not an issue.

Weird.. I thought I replied but must have been an Internet issue.
I just change the ratio of balls to powder when I do my scoop, depending on where the plants at. You can go less balls, more powder in flower but not too hardcore or you’ll see some deficiency. So ya need a few bawlz at least
