The beginning of the spring lineup out for transplanting, looks like I am overdoing it as usual.

Some of these were slated for an indoor flip but they are so happy in the sun that I decided to turn off the tent until fall. It is fun to watch the way the plants reach for the sun when given the chance. Don’t need the heat from the lights so the tent will home the mushroom tubs for the summer.

Fun how much of this lineup are from forum friends. I like to think there is good karma attached to beans from friends. What we have so far:

From @Schwaggy P
5 Hell’s Hypotenuse
6 Hell’s Angel OG x Skunky D
5 Afghan Skunk

From @HydroRed
3 Citrus MILF

From @Dino Party :
4 BooBa
5 Black Light Fantasy x Black Lime Reserve now known as Rainbow Wiggler?

From @Useful
4 Chocolate Diesel

The only non-forum strain so far are 3 Gogi Pupils.

Additionally I am trying to reveg one of the indoor Bag of Oranges, one pheno was extra special. Hope it works but I will probably lose it now that it is moved to outdoors.

It is agonizing trying to decide what to run. I can’t resist, I want to try it all.

One of those will be selected for the showcase grow.

That used to be one of my favorite things about growing outdoors. I would be out there every morning as the sun came up and watch them have their heads turned to the east.

Great lineup! I hope your reveg works for ya. I had a couple phenos of the BOO from Useful that were killer and orange all the way to the roach. Thats a great strain and I can 100% see why he uses it for crosses now.

Yes @Capt. C we have had a Baja Beach residence of sorts for many years. Way south, outside of Cabo.

As a life time surfer I found a deserted beach I loved back in the 80s but a long ass off road drive. Isolated & totally off grid but a great wave & nice harbor, popular in the surf community, nowadays way too popular during summer.

We bought a piece of land & have been dinking around with it for many years. We usually spend a few months there every year. I should have been there right now if not for this pandemic.

Do you grow outdoors at all there/ Those dry high altitudes can be interesting.

It is fun to see how much those plants track the sun, moving all day, resisting winds....indoor ones just sit there. :)

Thanks Red, I have high hopes for every one of them. One of your Citrus MILFS, 2nd on the left is the tallest plant on the table. Serrated leaves & good branching, I will post her after I transplant.

That one BOO pheno was probably in my top 10 of all time, I liked it that much. In fact out of 4 BOOs 3 were outstanding. What I am mostly smoking this week.

Very cool i bet it is pretty down there. How is safety with bandit's and such?Any problem leaving a resident house unintended?

When I have mj plants outside they're in the greenhouse. I can get 6 months out there but the first and last month aren't ideal lol. Misters for humidity and an 80% cover. I actually get pretty nice buds out of it, not indoor dense but nice bag appeal.

The rural towns in Baja are so different than what you hear. Cities are violent, cartel influence etc…none of that in the smaller towns. Sincere honest folks that would do anything for ya, & I’ve known a lot of them for many years. I have trust in the small fishing town there & have lots of support. Some of my oldest American friends are living there full time now.

That said I do pay for a caretaker but not just security, off grid solar batteries & garden plantings need maintenance.

I avoid the cities, love my beach life there. Fishing, surfing, diving, bonfires, playing music, it is a good life.

You are an ocean lover too, right Saltwater Cowboy?

This sounds like paradise.. Miss the small town life something fierce. Been city bound for almost a decade now, it's not what it looked like when I was younger trying to escape the small town I grew up in.

Yep. fairly certain i have salt water in my veins. Did a lot of surfing as a youngster all east coast though. Man i am envious sounds like a great place down there. Friend of the family built a place south of you in Costa Rica. I remember looking at pictures of the house and the first thing that struck me was no windows or doors. All open archways just no doors. I guess the bugs were not bad. I looked on the map after talking to you and that is a hell of a drive from the border alone. I own a nice FJ that would be great for off road use down there but it is a pavement princess unfortunately.

Capt, have you driven in Mexico before? It's nuts, from what I remember. If there's an option between a toll highway and a "free" highway, always pay the toll, the "free" highway is like madmax wastelands lol. The towns along the Baja Coast past the San Diego border have TONS of wrecked cars if you look over the cliff, it looks like a buncha mangled hot wheels cars all along that coastline in that area lol.

I have only been to a couple of border towns in TX and i am quite sure they are no resemblances to the interior of Mexico. I hope sometime in the future @Baja.Beaches can post some pictures of the area and a few nice waves. @Baja.Beaches do you drive or fly down there mostly?

I've been to Cabo San Lucas, and it is WAY different than CA border towns. Much more friendly and inviting, clear water, fresh clean air.

I usually drive, there is always so much stuff I need to bring. Think about a project where the closest hardware store is hours away. I go prepared.

As I said I completely avoid cities though, that new almost done highway on the east coast of Baja is the way I go now. Hotter than hell on that side in summer tho & isolated, not many services or cell signals. gotta have a reliable vehicle. I drove the west side for many years tho. Think about towing a 38 ft 5th wheel on those narrow ass roads. Took me 3 heart pounding days. It is still there & will never move again.

I am not really in Cabo but a few hours out. A small town that is hard to get to. I found it pitting in the Baja 1000 in the 80s. I do fly down sometimes but even then it is 3 hours to the airport from my town. That new underground border crossing to TJ airport is awesome tho, I will be flying more often.

Man that sounds so badass!! You got my mind reminiscing about Mexico, it's been way too long. So you had to drive on through TJ, Ensenada, etc? I was able to make it to a small village south of Ensenada. We'd hit the rocky shores, and jump in from 60+ ft, right before the water was rising to minimize the impact. Swim around to almost untouched oyster covered rocks. Lugged home Ice chests full of oysters, bought tons of lemons from a guy on the way home, worked well with the cold Tecate. Which we then shared with at the party up the hill, total strangers, but it was like we were all old friends. Good times.
