Going for the ounce of prevention is a pound of cure, last few runs have been problematic.
This is the best words of advice.

I have only been spraying every two weeks and it held well over the summer with no issues in either area (veg and flower). Just finishing up the second consecutive harvest here in a couple of weeks. The seasons changing with cooler outside temps seem to have brought some issues back indoors. Since I am a cheap bastard by nature, I didn't want to use more than I needed when doing IPM. Obviously, I need to spray more than I was. Twice a week is what is recommended and I will probably end up at that frequency at some point.

I screwed up by only using one product/mechanisim. For instance if you continue with plant therapy I wouldn't add another horticultural oil but go for sonething that has a different mechanisim. That's why I thing the marone products work is they each have different multiple modes of action.

The single product plays well into my laziness, but your right. If I want to actually prevent issues from happening a more robust program makes complete sense. I'll definitely look into these because I still have nightmares about having to ax my whole flower tent.

I lost 2 cuts in the battle, damn near didn't finish flowering out the BlueRipper twins. That woulda benn a shame because I think they are both solid reps of the line. Looking forward to dusting them with your pollen, just dropped the seed moms in flower, will get some preflowers, dust and mark then my no.4 male will be let in.

I have to say these animated bats and witches' hats are a nice touch here on Halloween Day. WoW!

I just applied my second application of plant therapy today. I have conquered a worst infestation in the past with this stuff so I am not too worried but I like the idea of alternating products.

Dealing with a bit of Bud-Rot on the bud tips of the last two cuts that were pollinated with the BlueRipper male. These were salvaged from the rotted pieces I cut away in an attempt to let more seeds mature.

These are more of the GorillaBlues (GG4s1 x BlueRipper).

I put all the outdoor girls into flush a few days ago to end and put a bow on this year's run. I have learned a lot this outdoor season and it's kept me busy in the process. I have definitely loaded up on beans.:dancingsmiley" I am already looking forward to next spring.

@Idlewilder 60 days is a good number to shoot for on this cut of Candyman. Appreciate the generosity. Hope I can do you proud and keep it solid. ? I'll probably start flush about Day 48-50 next round. I plan to keep her around awhile to get her layered into a couple of things. I would like to veg her out a bit more and get a bigger plant just to see what's up on yield. I did pluck off a seed from the GG75 bag this morning at day 57 and it looked dark and mature enough, I hope she holds on as long as she can with the outdoor weather and straight RO water feedings just to give the beans a bit more time.

I still hold the original vial and can do a test here in a couple of weeks on my end. I also hold the male in veg and can run him again if need be for a fresh and mature collection. He's not sterile though because he pollinated 2 different cuts this year so something in the process possibly caused the pollen to take a shit (most likely moisture).
Definitely a little bummed about it. My apologies for not utilizing your gift to create more seeds than I did. Hopefully it was just a fuckup on my part at some point in the process, but I utilized the same storage techniques with both vials of pollen and the same methods for pollination for the GG75 and Blue Ripper. I was a little bit surprised that I could only see a few bracts swelling with seeds on the branch that was pollinated with Blue Ripper. I am happy that the branch that was pollinated with GG75 seems to be nice and full at least.

Edit: I wrote this post yesterday and somehow never submitted it. I looked into the packets of pollen that I used to pollinate today and the Blue Ripper definitely seems to have more moisture content that the GG75 pollen. It could have very well been my fuckup at some point in the process. Again, my apologies brother.

The bats were kind of tripping me out at first glance haha. Positive vibes...

Do you think a little bit did take?

I felt that they both looked dry going out of the original vile. One of the main things I pay attention to is when opening the vial is when I pop the cap does a poof of granules come up and out(airborne). Also when I pour it, does it run like sand. But, pollen viability is a finicky thing. Collecting, storing, and sharing pollen are uncharted territory for me and finding credible information on good techniques to apply are virtually non-existent. I am learning as I go.

I can see 3-5 seeds on the branch pollinated with Blue Ripper. Again, pretty fucking bummed about it. :(

I picked up the package from my friend and took it to the spot. I poured out each vial separately and put a little bit of each into multiple packets. I prefer to store my pollen in single use packets, inside bags, inside a jar filled with rice, in the freezer, so I am able to quickly remove what is necessary from storage without risking thawing the rest. I vaguely recall some of the pollen being clumped to the rice in one vial whenever I first opened it, but I definitely don't recall whether it was the GG75 or Blue Ripper vial. I didn't think much of it at the time, but now that I just keep going over and over my process in my mind, it kind of stands out. Again, it could have been the GG75 vial, so might be irrelevant information anyway.

I am going to keep trying to pollinate females with the Blue Ripper pollen anyway. I hit my Chem Kesey with both the GG75 and Blue Ripper today. I believe that I have two packets of the Blue Ripper pollen left. Next up is a Twinkle Tarts and then a Purple Betty the week after that. I look forward to sharing as many seeds with you as possible of our creations. Thank you again for sharing and learning with me! Positive vibes...

The freezer gave me moisture problems in the past and I haven't went back since it ruined a vial of Sherlock's Gift ?. It's good to hear that at least you're getting a few beans from the BR albeit not as much as you expected, at least you'll have something in the pocket.

I do have a dozen of the BR males progeny going in flower now and his structure is only showing in 75% of the phenotypes but I have noticed his aromas are dominant across the range, which is a plus for the particular hybrid. Just some early info on what I am seeing.?
