My attempt at " hempy" clone cups.
PXL_20201107_191744451.jpg
These are 5oz plastic cups that I put a 1/4 inch hole through at the 2oz mark. Citrus City on the left and Candyman on the right.

Filled with nothing but perlite. I covered the hole originally and floated it up for a few seconds before removing my finger from the hole to let the water out.

This is 14 days after the cuts were taken and dipped in Clonex gel. I set them right above the drain whole which is virtually the water level. From here I can see the wicking of the perlite creeps up another inch or so.

Obviously, the Citrus City cloned quicker than the Candyman but they both did strike roots. This method was super easy and I only poured full nutrients in a few times just till I saw run-off out the hole which wasn't much.

He got a nice caustic scent with some fairly serious tackiness on the stem rub. Stacked up better than 4 of his brothers. Some interesting phenotypes coming through in this hybrid.
?Tackiness on stem rub is usually promising for hitters! I've noticed on all my 'keepers' to date share something in common... They have a tacky and stanky smelly stem rub to em... Nice work Buck!! Keep em coming brother?

Much appreciation goes to our Vets today on Veterans Day. Thank you for your service.

Today is the first time since the time change that I was able to get some illuminated shot of these two GorrillaBlues (GG4s1 x BlueRipper) males:

Both these dudes were pulled to the side based on strength, structure, and aroma. In comparison to their brothers, they are squatter in general and consistent in branching.

This boy has similar traits to his father including that caustic stink bug scent on the rub.

This is the ol' boy that I snapped a leaf shot of yesterday. I am really liking what I see from him. He has this bushy look and is sticky to the touch. Definitely ? than his brother even though his nose isn't as loud. He does share that cleaner caustic sent but is a bit slower on the development.

Instead of tossing a rooted cut I placed one in a "hempy" tube and squeezed it into some open space in the flower tent. About a week behind, so I was able to keep her a bit healthier with the nutrient sensitivity issues. This thing packed on weight well.

Just a little update on the collaboration:

DLA11 has a branch full of DLA11 x GG75 seeds. My Chem Kesey cut is pretty heavy Chemdog leaning (the reason that I keep her in rotation). She is Chemdog leaning in structure as well, so her branching is lanky as fuck and is just a couple of flower sites, but GG75 appears to have pollinated nicely there as well. The Twinkle Tarts from @thenotsoesoteric appears to have bracts swelling with Twinkle Tarts x GG75 seeds also. The Blue Ripper pollen is still only pollinating a few spots on each branch, if at all. Still a little heartbroken about that. Up next is a Purple Betty from Esos as well. I believe that I am down to my last pack of Blue Ripper pollen, but still have at least a couple packs of GG75. There is nothing quite like making new cultivars! Making seeds has always been one of my favorite parts of growing cannabis. Thank you again for sharing the pollen brother! Positive vibes...

Makes me skeptical about the vial I pulled from for you. I have a couple of flowers I can hit here in a few days. I'll go straight from the vial into a bag and see what's up. I am thinking of doing a little collection on the GorillaBlues male if you want to try that one?
