Truthfully the best male I have ever used was such a male. Big purple balls o'spunk oilspill male that leaned to the royal kush side of its lineage. He was magnificent.

Ooh, how interesting, I need to know more, I'll go see what I can find.
This is the first run with her using Jacks and I believe that top is full of beans as well. She's got bug issues but I started a flush to get her to finish out by day 65 or so.
The article is about 4MTripleC a commercial grow thats running everything from seed and doing large phenohunts. The Candy Punch they found is pretty popular in Oklahoma.

Oh! Ya I did see that part, they were a cattle family before, what's the makeup of Candy Punch? I am assuming I know one part ? but when I look into it all I see is Candy Kush and punch crosses.
It's funny because they list it as Purple Punch x Candyman and was given best shelf appeal in the sativa category. It's pure indica, P.P. x Candyshop.
The Candyshop male was used on Gelato, Punch and a few other purple strains.

Hmm, might have to do a bit of investigating to nail down the actuals. I do have a branch spotted with seeds from Idles Primal Punch male on your purple cut of CandyMan. I believe the Primal Punch came from MedGrower which was GG4 x Bannan OG (if I remember correctly, Idle?). Not sure how close that would be to the OKC Candy Punch.
That picture on the cover showed some consistent donkey colas, which I don't believe will be what the hybrid of PP x CM will produce. We should see a bit more nodal spacing and a good amount of stretching with balling of the buds. I do also have some [CandyMan x (Candy Man x BlueRipper)] that should have a few pHenos that will stack up like that Candy Punch. I don't think it'll be hard to find something since the BlueRipper dominance should still be in the line even after this first back cross.

Getting my Chuck on. These hempy containers have cuts and re-veg mom's that I I've backed up and now are ready to catch some pollen. From left to right, Meltdown #6 & 2, MAC1, CandyMAC #9, CandyMan born in the small container and in the back right corner. BlueRipper in the front far right in the white tube. Last but not least is a flowering branch from the lovely CandyMAC #5 male, I stick him in a bottle of nutes just to see if I can get some pollen to drop over the top of these girls.

Yeah man! Just how I like it, when you break open a nug and see that pinkish purple spotting throughout it's interior. Eew wee! She got a very pleasant nose as well. Fruit base through and through with some funk nasty undertones. The two laid into each other really well on this chuck.
