Apparently, we aren't the only ones who like it...Hopefully, the dude doesn't hit another cookie fam cut and call it "Prixon Cider", If anyone knows this dude let him know I'll take a pack of his Romulan Bx as a one-time royalty payment. ?
Dude, I was just getting on here to share this with you hahaha

I remember Swaggy mentioning in one of his post how the naming of strains these days doesn't even relate to anything relevant in the make-up. Here, this naming made some sense to me because of the Cider Kush lineage, along with the fact it's was hilarious, I felt it appropriate and Good times all around. Gelato x Romulan? With the whole star trek universe to pick from? I'd have a hay-day. Klingon, Vulcan, Riker, Picard, Kahn, Spock, Bones, Taser. Shit, l bet we all could go on and on, probably come up with some pretty cool shit.

Like I said, one time royalty payment and it'll end all animosity.

Gonna need a drain for an RO system. I have this clean out PXL_20230218_201417894.jpg
It's 3-in ABS which I'll reduce to 2-in. I don't like the 45 degree angle.

About 20 feet in and I've crossed 5 irrigation pipes. Like WTF? We can't even water our lawns anymore so why the fuck. ?

I'm pretty sure this 1in feeds one of my hose spigots so I had to work around it. It's looks to be added after the house was built. Whoever installed it had to go around the patio slab just like me.

Headed to the edge of the slab where my new shed will be built.

Before I called it quits for the day, I decided to get a few pieces glued together so the glue will cure overnight. We'll see how far I can get minana'.

Got back after it this morning. Started putting stuff together. Replaced the existing 45 on the cleanout with this T. I added a bell reducer to get down to 2-inch.

Went in with PVC and used the proper glue to attach it to the ABS, (still was a pain in the ass)

"Tried" my best to keep a 2% fall

Had to get some tunneling done toward the end of the run. Luckily this is all sand and at a shallow depth.

I stubbed up by a hose spigot that I'll also be modifying when I make my connection.

This should be enough for me to get a RO system going without having to worry about moving water all over hell an' gone. Worth the time and $300 IMO. I definitely could have done some things differently but fuck it, I got to get growing. I finished burying the trench a couple of hours ago and should be ready for the rain coming next week. With this back-breaking work behind me, I'm looking forward to framing when we get a dry spell.

What's the footprint gonna be?

But, anything bigger than 120sqft or has plumbing and electrical has to be permitted. We spent time with a county planner with the basic "storage shed" angle. They won't sign off on it unless I present a design and pour a raised footing(they suggested 12"x 12" w/bar) or get a civil engineer to ok my existing slab. (which is 6"+ thick and has a metal shed on it already) Liability-wise, I'm guessing a civil isn't just going to sign off without doing something additional. (pockets a little fatter too) I figured roughly 7k for the material for this 12' x 24' which is pretty much all my budget. Adding in the permit fees and the additional concrete/ engineering would have pushed it up to around 10k. Reviewal and processing could take a few months before approval. Time and money.

With all that BS, I decided to go with a smaller version

I don't need a permit for this and I can get started at my discretion. This will be raised floor on a few 4x6 skids. I will be modifying this somewhat making it a 12' x 10' instead of the 10x12 shown. Trusses will change slightly, the roof ridge will change, and I'll be able to keep some of the aesthetics that I want. The door and window will be on a 10' wall. I'll probably omit the double door on this one. It will also allow me to add another identical shed next to this( in the future) where I'll put the double door in.

This is roughly where the water is and where I stubbed up that drain

I'll either put a sink or mount the water pipes and RO to the wall inside the door. On the left, as you'd walk in.
