I remember Swaggy mentioning in one of his post how the naming of strains these days doesn't even relate to anything relevant in the make-up. Here, this naming made some sense to me because of the Cider Kush lineage, along with the fact it's was hilarious, I felt it appropriate and Good times all around. Gelato x Romulan? With the whole star trek universe to pick from? I'd have a hay-day. Klingon, Vulcan, Riker, Picard, Kahn, Spock, Bones, Taser. Shit, l bet we all could go on and on, probably come up with some pretty cool shit.

Like I said, one time royalty payment and it'll end all animosity.

I joined here and that place is a lot like this place....very helpful folks...
my very first forum experience back in the 90s. All lurking. Bought spore syringes n everything. Ended up moving, gave em to one of my blood brothers. He just squirted em around and got a flush. I think some were Cambodian near Siem Reap temple by Mushroom John. Most everything back then was B+ strain. Never llked it. Not quite ready for the shroom experience again but oh I will be. And this time it will be my own. Golden Teacher vs Penis Envy? Or are there some special “elite shrooms” now lol

"Yeti" sounds and looks interesting
Why the window?
Outside aesthetics really. I plan on screwing sheet rock over it on the inside for growing purposes. I'll insulate and sheet rock the walls.

Quite a few things still elude me. Those gable vents for instance seem janky for a growing area. I am still deciding on what I need to do for ventilation. ? I'll have tents in there to get started and hope of building out interior rooms later. 2 foot joist in the ceiling which make it possible to mount a dehumidifier or exhast fans if I leave the sheeting off of the lid.

Much more would be out of place for a shed. Just build a light trap on the other side, even put a duct flange and backdraft damper on it. My preference is to run positive pressure but you could also direct vent through them if needed.
These ridge vents could be installed to take place of the gable vents. Possibly.

Should only need a couple feet.

Another original idea was

In place of the gable vents. I could add standard inline dampers and then have duct access for both intake and exhaust on the other side.

I'd probably go for the ridge/soffit vent if you drywall the ceiling regardless of how the room gets vented.

Man idk CO2? Minisplit?

A little over 3 weeks since I squirted in 10cc of spores

I'm pretty sure these are a little slow due to the temperature I have them in. I am really having a lot of fun reading and learning mycology. I am thinking, that in the future, there might be a small place in my set-up for a consistent mushroom harvest.

I think it went pretty good. Layered in the grain and substrate. The top layer of substrate was pretty thin. Hopefully it won't be too much of an issue. The north spore boomer box has been sitting around for a month or so and seemed a little dry. I added a few spritz of water to the top of the layers to help with the field capacity. ?

I know it's a little early, but that awesome flooring under your tub has me feeling like I'm on a mushroom trip right now! ?

Fuck the drugs, looks like I should come through and post more stuff from around the house to keep this thread engaging. ?

On the real tho, the Master Shower was a really nice selling point when we bought the place last year. I think the original bathroom had a tub at that end of it but somewhere along the line, they put in this tile shower. I'd like to get an additional showerhead installed along with a glass door to complete its awesomeness.

We talk about all kinds of dumb shit over in my journal. haha I try to pepper in some dank plants to keep it in the " grow journal" thread. About to pop some of the beans you sent me today.
I hope you find something worthwhile for you and the homies. I'm still a month or two away from getting some plants back in this bitch. Still putting in the work tho.

Yes to both. They'll come in as I go. I'll need to do some concrete work or find a hanging spot for the condenser on a mini-split. The portable AC I have now is fairly new and could cool 120sqft with no issues (kind of awkward). I'll probably vent that up and outside. On the other end of the spectrum, I'll acquire one of these:

s-l500.jpg

or something similar. That way I can put them both on a dial and keep the inside at a more precise range that also can be adjusted.

I love these things. They're efficient and they don't dry everything out. But man I would like a mini split as well in the future. Amazing ,and well worth the money.

I went snooping around after I posted this. $900 will get a single zone with a heat pump. Not bad for full room temperature regulation. They stated that they're efficient but I'll have to wait and see on that aspect.

Damn that's short money tho ? Okay, I didn't realize they had anything other than Mitsubishi lol I just hadn't looked into it too deep yet. Those were like I think 2800. It was a few years back too So I'm going to have to look again. I'll do all my research before I let my wife know lol .
