Digging your thread, Corpsy.
There is a satisfaction that comes with resourcefulness.

You are inspiring me to hunt through my Autos. I was messing around with little seed plants in "the shady grow"
Even though there is seed ready of the second generation, I am yet to actually smoke the stuff.
Two seasons in and I couldn't tell ya what it tastes like.
It was my first outdoor grow. The satisfaction comes in knowing that I was able to pull it off.

How many Litres of water do they drink, a day ?
Can you get away with watering every 24 hours, or is it more often?
I have a strange feeling at the end of this run. I'm going to want to play with my autos as well. I love marijuana in general so I appreciate all strains and varieties. Stoked @Gentlemancorpse ?

Love being an inspiration haha. I had really punted on autos after some frusterations with the Seedsman Auto NLs, but as with all cannabis, the genetics make a big difference. There is definitely a major role for them in cannabis cultivation though and its fun having a no pressure grow going. No hunting or cloning or reveging, nobody waiting on my harvest.

Probably going to do another auto run after honestly. My photoperiod hunt is slowly picking up steam, but the emphasis is on slowly. And I have 3 or 4 more cultivars to try from the folks who helped me kick this off.

I hope you enjoy them. They are very interesting and as time goes on they intrigue me more and more. The stone was different and in a good way. You'll have the mastered no time. Hope the photo Project goes well too ?

Im so curious what the Mephisto Mystery plants are going to be lol. Mystery #1 had zero stretch and is way ahead of everything. Mystery #2 is a bit of diva... got some nute burn and curling leaves.

Of the @Photon Pharms gear, the Frisson is stretching her wings now, tallest plant in the tent so far. Beskar #1 is a beast. Beskar #2, in the hempy is a little further behind but doing good. Both the Frisson and Beskar are THICC. Stems are already thick as my pinky finger. Juicy Fruit BX is the least developed in the tent but looks nice and healthy. Just the only plant that hasnt put out pistils yet of the hydro girls. Shes the most sativa looking plant as well.

The 2 Canteloupe Kush are doing well, really uniform, nothing that screams for attention at this stage.

And as Ive mentioned before, the two PK autos that are in soil are developing much slower. They look weeks behind everything else. Its one of those things about autos I find so interesting. Clearly whatever triggers the flip to flowering isnt just the passage of time. There are developmental stages the plant needs to hit.

I have def noticed a few dif variables. Container size for one If left in a solo too long they'll show sex real quick. But what you said too, hitting a certain shape to be ready for onset . And some just have smaller frames and will get there faster, (shape and sexually) than some of the bigger more equatorial varieties. They are intriguing for sure and I'm still trying to figuring them out, the high and medicinal properties for one . Really glad that you're doing this man ? and obviously that was just my opinion and nothing more.

Humbled and excited to have you run any of my gear my friend!!! I'm here if you need absolutely anything at all. As for the development you are witnessing, there are so many factors for autos that can, will, or do affect that "flip" or "trigger" to flower. One of which and obviously, is genetics which you are aware of, but with autos, over water/under water, over feed(more so than under) root stress mainly, though I have played with other environmental stressors and of them temp seems to hurry that along early as well. The juicy is, exactly as you said, sativa dom, and a bit longer running. She also has a tendency to go a bit longer in veg, than some other sativa doms. I have noticed that. So absolutely thrilled to be included in your journey my friend!! I'm here to help, you or anyone else!! Please let me know how I can help.

Well respected opinion my friend. Very well respected. And right on. You know where to turn if you need anything to do with autos brother. I'm so amazingly blessed and fortunate to have friends like you all and to even remotely be in the position I'm in. Hit me up if you ever need any info, beans etc on autos. You're the best man, you're gear is lighting fires, seriously!!! So proud of you for what it's worth haha. Be safe Frim!

So I accidently already posted this in my other journal but to keep my auto thoughts in one place, here it is in redux...

Forgot to take a whole tent pic but its getting really, really crowded in there haha. Kinda glad the Auto PK are moving a little slower.

The canteloupe kush smell super refreshing. Like those candles they call shit like "summer linen"

Mystery Mephisto #1 is a squat, fast flowering gal that smells like gummy worms.

Mystery Mephisto #2 is lankier and filling in slower but has an amazing fresh orange smell. Im really surprised its so intense, so early, especially in an auto. Kinda wish I knew what this one was lol. Gonna try and pull it out for pics later this week, shes just in the back which was too much for my back today.

LOL I love that description. I remember the Wife and I were trimming for this medical grow, and payment was a sack of whatever you wanted, and you clocked in and out like a normal job, and even though I got the exact same thing every time (Dude had Purple Chemdog....I asked him to pay me in nothing but that every time he said OK) but the Wife picked a couple different things out to try stuff. She got Hawaiian Sunshine, which the single bag seed of that is how I ran that, but she also really liked Purple Sunset, and then, the one you're now growing was one she picked at some point, and that stuff was REALLY nice.

My dumb ass was in a grocery store smelling Cantaloupes trying to see if they smelled like the Kush version.... But seriously that was a nice strain; The "chemist" that would show up and collect all the trim to make rosin and "Diamonds" with, had it tested and it was 30% THC. Still didn't make me budge in the slightest on choosing the Purple Chemdog but you know me LOL.

Looking good man. Can't wait to talk to you after the grow and catch up on feedback etc. Thank you again my friend!!
