And the chilren. The OG Kush auto just up and died a few days ago. The cotelydon leaves just dropped off her before new leaves formed, so there was just a stem sticking out of the dirt one day after work. Weird. So ist just the 2 Gold Medal and the Blood Lemon.

Probably gonna do another round of 3 so I'll try that OG Kush again then. Just gonna wait a couple weeks so the plants are staggered a bit better this time. 20230330_221908.jpg

These three are in ammended PromixHP with extra perlite, worm castings and Gaia Green 4-4-4. Oh, and Im trying out the AC infinity nursery pots. Accidently got bigger ones than I intended but its still working out pretty well.

Quick dried a sample of the Hempy Beskar and man, this is some nice smoke. Shes not super loud at this stage so it kind of took me surprise when she was super flavorful. The Guava influence is evident as it has that funky tropical fruit flavor that hints at passionfruit or its namesake guava, not the bright tropical fruit flavor of pineapple, kiwi or citrus nor the fruity berry profile. And theres some mothball/sock drawer thing going on there. Far and away the most potent of the first three plants Ive dried. This is the first joint I couldnt finish in a long time. Halfway through the remainder was coated in sticky resin and I was cooked. @Photon Pharms

Heres a shot of a couple nugs I just cleaned up 20230401_141228.jpg

I'll take it!! ❤️ ? ? Hahaha. That's awesome man, makes me smile for sure!! Beskar has definitely been one that I've been happy with. I know that mothballish flavor you're talking about, sometimes it turns to like this floral(maybe) terp after harvest. Hard to describe and one of the reasons I went with her in the beginning. If I have a hard time describing the terps or effects, that's a big check mark in this camp haha. So glad you're enjoying them man, I truly am. This has been a great experience for me as well as you have had a very good way of expressing some things to me that either I hadn't heard/thought of before, and/or different than others I've heard before. I love it!!! You're the best man, thank you so much for giving me even a fraction of the time and energy you have brother, I owe you.

Looking at the shots you posted, hard to tell if that "interesting" Frisson is good or just plain funky haha. That's the least "stable" genetically of what you have I believe. When it hits though.... Still a work in progress, they all are including myself. I thank you again my man.

I may not have those but man that looks good! I also have to say that when I've got trouble describing smell or taste in a strain, it's like, that instantly grabs my attention, so I appreciate that you chose one for that reason :)

I mean, she smells great so I think she'll finish pretty nice. The structure is pretty wild though, just little conical nugs growing where it should be one big nug lol. Im still debating what the last 3 autos of this next round will be but shes a strong contender for a revisit.

Its funny that you mention selecting things for unusual or difficult to describe terps because I can totally see it in your work. I couldnt find words to describe the Frisson yet. And the Juicy Fruit BX smells like menthol and curry leaf and penny store bubblegum (like those little pink bricks that you can barely start chewing. Do those even still exist?) which is very unexpected lol.

The pink brick gum that made no bubble, so hard to call it bubble gum, is exactly the smell! Very well put, nail on the head. We've talked a bit outside of the public posts anyway, so you probably know, but yeah my biggest fear is to be "just another breeder" and be associated with that pile of names/companies. I will never claim to be the best, as I don't believe that's possible in this situation haha, but I do want to do what I do, the best. I'd like to have something or things that people are like, oh well you already know you got to get that from Photon. That's when I feel like I have reached the top so to speak. The well respected breeders with the names everyone knows, all have that thing about their work that makes them special. That's always been a big focus. Very very glad it shows.

This Juicy Fruit BX is far and away the most pure sativa looking auto Ive ever grown. Shes no where close to finishing lol. Needs a ton of support. Absolutely wild. We're on day 77 since she sprouted, I'm expecting here to go a solid 90-100 days. 20230404_193508.jpg 20230404_193438.jpg

And heres the Auto PK #2. I didnt even bother taking a picture of #1, its just kind of ... blah. These are the only autos so far this run that just dont really stand out in any way. Theyre nice, but every other plant has had something that really wowed me and these dont. Should be some nice, dense nugs, but they dont smell like much and the yield is middling, plus theyre kinda slow. Hopefully they start to pop as they finish up.

Yeah, my apologies on that one, if you mentioned it, it went in one ear and out the other, but I did not think about finishing fast when recommending Juicy Fruit to you. Probably was thinking about it just being sativa for you. Did I send you any Betty White Xmas? That is a much faster Juicy Fruit cross. Though obviously, you will lose a bit off the top on the sativa effects. It's ultimately a cross of Binary Selections White Xmas and my Juicy Fruit at F3(from full auto). Very frosty, denser flower structure, she's more dense throughout really. But if you enjoy Juicy, and don't have Betty White, let me know. Can't thank you enough my man.

Oh Im not worried about the time at all. Just making observations for future reference or others who are looking to try out some autos. I think shes fascinating. Ive had other autos run long but it always seemed like something was just off with them, like the Seedsman NL auto. The Juicy Fruit just seems like a nearly pure sativa which just surprised me. Im excited to smoke her when all is said and done.
