The twinkle tarts and artisanal gelato cuts my brother sent early may still haven't busted roots. They weren't healthy when he sent but I still expected them to bust roots by now. They still have green color to them so hopefully they get on with it. Was hoping to get spraying with Red fabulous reverso spray like weeks ago! God dammit!!!

That destar bx male was special, I didn't know at the time, the AVG I hit will pollen was very grapey, especially after a good cure. Darlins net adds punch and structure. and the blueberry of the blue heron seems to complement the grape of the all valley grape. This might be a solid foundation for a grape line for those inclined.

Front runners for studs 1 copper chem f2 and 1 headbanger. The taller headbanger on right, cut off in pic, will probably be chopped since I want shorter plants to work with. I decided to just chop roasted garlic margy males since both the copper chem and headbangers have been worked a little more.

4 lvtk s1 and 3 lvtk seedlings still putting along.

Smoke Report: ? Super Lemon Crush ?


Smell/Aroma:

Lemon. Yep, unmistakably lemon.

In early flowering, SLC smelled like a tropical fruit tray with pineapple being dominant. A hazey/incensey smell lingered behind the sweet fruitiness (and still does after drying). Late flowering & drying is where the lemon took over.

Looks:

Nice sized nugs all the way down from the tops. Huge engorged calyxes that look fuzzy they're so covered in trichs. The nugs look indica-ish at first glance, but have a fluffy, springiness to them if you give them a gentle squeeze. Not as dense as your typical OG or cookies plant, but also not wispy like some lankster sativa.

Effect:

To test the effect I did a fresh wake and bake from a SLC nug I harvested about a week before chop. 100% cloudy and maybe an amber here and there.

The effects come on almost immediately. Time slows, and the motion of wind blowing through the trees or cars driving by seems to unfold tick by tick, frame by frame, like someone slowed the film reel down on a projector.

You'd think this trippy effect is accompianied by soaring energy, but I don't get that at all. SLC somehow manages to calm my nerves despite frying my senses.

Gradually the vibe switches to a wonderful body melting effect. Again, SLC suprises me at this point because there's not a hint of foginess or heavy eyelids while I'm blissfully metling away.

*This* is a top-shelf sativa hybrid IMHO.

Ghost og and all valley grape are the stretchers in the tent. The black grapes dumdum are both 1/3 the height, lol. But im digging how short the black grapes dumdum are because my main goal with those was to shorten any tall lanky plants which the ghost, headbanger and all valley happen to be.

Ghost, avg, super lemon crush on left side. Black grapes dumdum, pineapple express and 1 copper chem shorty 1 rgm shorty in middle with 2 headbangers 1 copper chem 1rgm taller plants on right.
2 peakseedsbc c99 in red solo cups shown pistils so I cut tops for clones and will let lower shoots flower out to see what how the flower is, if good they'll get put in seed tent with keepers from this round.

I'll try to get individual pics of plants this weekend. The 2 super lemon crush, 2 black grapes dumdum and the 2 c99 x grape sato plants are pretty uniform to their siblings.

The 99 satos have that grape sato smell going so there is a chance they'll be grape over pineapple but man I hope the pineapple comes through too. Pineapple grape would be super cool.

As far as males I think ill keep a headbanger and a copper chem f2 as both have something I'd like to work with. Hell we've already seen the dank the copper chem male Amos used has spawned to life and I've been wanting a sour for a minute.

A lot of OG types have that wispy grapevine like structure that cries out to be trained & topped

Looks utterly mesmerizing already ! Which size tent? Veg tent I suppose... (?) (just got a 2x4, so curious about the amount of plants to ram into it..)

Its a 2x4 6 foot tall tent. The veg tent is 2x4 too bit only 5ft tall. I got 2 2x4 tents for flower just so i can throw my dual 288 hgl boards in each.

The Dynoberry Bites does throw more colors easily from what I've seen. The Dynoberry bites I used to make purple Betty had a similar fade to yours. Kick ass

The one in the back smells like fruity pebbles and the one in the front has the same smell with a potent grape jolly rancher smell on top. I’ve had some fruity strains before but these are like straight up candy!

I hate how YouTube age restricts these so you have to actually go to YouTube to see them but here are videos I took this morning of each plant just before I chopped them.





And here are pics of the plants after I pulled all the fan leaves off. My rule for drying is to remove any leaves that have petioles that extend past the flowers and then I hang the plants whole.

All 3 copper chem f2s were female, thought 2 were males but just had weird preflowers. So looks like it'll be a headbanger male doing the nasty.

Headbanger females

Roasted garlic margy females, shorter one already had male flowers forming so I plucked them, if they return she gone.

The nice roasted garlic margy i had last time was the tallest pheno so not worried the shorty is acting up. Gonna just grow her for smoke, not breeding material.
