I think this is an interesting discussion point regarding ipm. Remember the m is management it's not an e for eradication. Why are the ladybugs hanging out? What number of pest is acceptable? One reason I have used rove beetle is they will kill pretty much indiscriminately regardless if they need food, which other bennies do that? Pest in first? "Banker" plants?

Can / should you move the pupae? How can you encourage their development? Do you want to be a bennie rancher?

Lots more stuff that I'm sure I don't know anything about too.

I have found a couple other clusters in random places in the tent. I have also seen some young nymph? stage crawling around on the tent wall. They will find their way to where they need to go. They have been pretty effectively managing the aphids that are there between sprays. I make sure they are all removed from the plants when I spray.

I'm a big fan of Ladybugs myself; We order them online and got 3,000 for about 10 dollars, which, as long as you keep them in the fridge, you can hold off on putting them out until conditions are better (Sun setting, as you want to put them out once it's not so bright, or at least cloudy) so we normally put them in the fridge, and once it's either cloudy or the Sun is off the Garden, we put them out on each plant, and as long as they find Aphids and mites to eat, and have access to water they will breed. I had REALLY good results this year; Only had to spray Green Clean ONE time all season, and that was for PM and not mites or aphids, so I was beyond happy with that result.

I see them breeding all season, and I didn't have a problem with mites, and even the aphids couldn't keep up so it was a great solution in my opinion. Now I should point out that a tent would be a little different; Since mine is outdoor, I don't HAVE to remove a bunch of shade leaves, as actual Sunlight penetrates a lot better, and Honestly I leave shade leaves alone and only remove branches from the lower third of my plants, and so far it seems like when I do this, the shade leaves near those branches after a week or two will turn yellow on their own, and then I remove them. With these extra leaves though I've got a "buffer" so to speak, of damage absorption where it's OK if some beetles munch on some leaves here and there, and it doesn't cause a bunch of problems for me.

I try to allow my plants to have an ecosystem, which does at times involve having beetles that will eat some parts of leaves, but normally by the time the flower cycle begins, they're gone, and they only really go for shade leaves and they don't actually kill them. Now, I'll kill beetles I see on my plants doing actual damage, but I don't kill every bug I see because you may end up killing a helpful one if you don't ID them first (Learning to ID bugs, though not super interesting, is a good way to know what to do) so if I see a beetle eating my plants, I'll kill them, with my fingers, but the rest, I don't bother. There's enough leaves and my plants are big enough that I haven't ever lost a plant to a bug. The main issues in my area, are if you don't watch for mites and aphids as those will do real damage, and even damage buds into flower, thus my Ladybug love LOL.

I feel like I'm rambling so I'll stop there, but I guess TL;DR would be "Some bugs good, some bugs crushed, add Ladybugs and only spray when you have too" Haha.

Feeling the itch to pop something. View attachment 152879 two hitting the water. New breeder to me. Anyone have any experience with them? Also culleda underperforming Mothers milk seedling.
Ran cement shoes was kinda awesome. Very substantial plant . Doesn't stretch a ton but it's just a big plant. Crazy different profile nasty ? I'll be watching these

This is how I water. Lol It does however allow me to have a very tight reading on how much water each plant needs. For solos and Qt pots it isn't too bad. View attachment 153094
Love it!
Got something similar, can't go without it now. Sometimes I'm lazy and just use the squirt bottle if it's not nearby. But these help a ton with the way I do clones and all my god damn seedlings everywhere. PXL_20230129_133256951.jpg
