Saw on the news yesterday evening, a recall on Chinese dehumi's GREE brand and that apparently also includes some KENMORE and GE.

The hazard is for FIRE, they have allegedly caused like 450 fires.

Absolutely, all you guys please spread the word about it since many ppl won't see my post. Some of those fires have been fatal, structure and forest fires freak me tf out plz don't take any chances with your homes or apartment buildings. Stay safe !

Gree USA had 1.56 million dehumidifiers recalled due to fire hazard. The company was fined $500,000 earlier this year for failing to notify the CPSC of problems.
