Before proceeding I got to show you some ugly stuff,,,
20210130_133356_(1).jpg
I have seen this before and I have finally figured it out.
I was initially super disappointed with my first F2 pollen test run. All those little guys look mutated and burnt up . I thought they had a fundamental problem.
All of the afflicted plants that I didn't cull immediately Return to normal growth . And as such, I always pondered the cause in the back of my mind.
Here it , is to the left of Second Reverend and one of Buc50's
20210130_133430.jpg
All of the neighbours are fine; so I kind of dismissed it as a specific injury ,,,like letting the plants dry out- or something.
Turns out the necropolis is a direct result of oversploosh from using a specific product.
RoyalBlack10L.jpg
I use that stuff for my first feeding, after transplanting. If it is tight and crampy canopy, some product ends up pooling on the leaf.
When I splash it around, it burns the crap out of the leaves and stunts small plants.
Had to be my Zamalish too!!
Lives and learns.

Was calling it TommyHunter; but no-one in their right mind would make the connection with my legit Great Uncle.

This is Agents ,SweeSkunk.
That thing was guns-blazing before I topped it , and I think I burnt it with the Black, as the new growth appears slightly leathery and retarded.
20210130_133537.jpg
But the sheer enormity of the thing reminds me of BCGrApefruit.
In this photo it is centered , on the low end of the noose, between the other plants. It is way over -stretching the pot and threatening to touch the wall.
20210130_133356_(2).jpg

Got lots potted up with no shock.
D'ats good dirt.

Really? That's awesome. He was a cool dude, always laid back. Wasn't his nickname "the Country Gentleman"?

Back before the internet, my friends and I would fuck with each other by making up bullshit stories. They might have been about a sports event or a celebrity, nothing malicious, just plausible sounding shit that we would try to get our friends to repeat to others, thereby making them look like idiots when the stories were revealed as BS.

One of my stories that became accepted as truth was that Tommy Hunter was a professional wrestler before his singing career took off. He was a legit huge man, so it seemed believable. I overheard my buddy retell the tale of badass Tommy Hunter many times over the years before he learned the truth and called me a lot of very mean names.:ROFLMAO:

I may have peaked my permit for a minute there during the late Harvest ,but I am back to reasonable numbers now. All but four? of these are regs, so the number should settle between 25-35.

It is not often I get to speak authoritatively on plant issues. I am just happy when they grow right and confused when they don't
In this case ,however, I know exactly what is going on.

This otherwise perfectly healthy plant is overwatered and over lit. I can see the over-water in the rest of the room. Is being counteracted by the higher than normal temperatures.
This one has his face right up in the hid , and it cannot deal.
It is the only one in the room and stands out like a sore thumb.

nuthatches do not wait in line at the bird feeder..............somethin about pointy beaks to the front :)

Titmice come to my kitchen window to complain about their feeder being empty that's a good 100' away. They must have heard that squeeky wheel getting the grease fable.

Chickadee's = my faves

will be picking up anudder 80 lbs of black oilers soon :)

Those punks are the only birds that will take food off the windowsill, whilst the cats are throwing themselves at the glass.

Must be a bird day.
My wife scared up bird , as she was walking across the backyard this morning. She recognized it as a bird of prey. She said it had the colouring of an owl. Sand-stone with black spots.
Sounds like a Kestrel.
My Grandpa calls them 'kites'

Re-call, I am percent 30 relative humidity up in here. I foliar feed 2 or 3 times a day.
I walk into the room and grab the spray bottle. I really should learn to reach for my camera first.

If you were to zoom in on the right hand side you will see much Leaf damage. This is very common in my garden. Seems like I have to rip the helmets off of more than half of my seedlings.

I always fail when I try to pull the seed hull UP. The trick is to mash the seedling downward ~ towards the soil ,and use opposing fingernails to pry the seed head open. Any upward force and you are tearing something. Keep mashing them down and they will be just fine. View attachment 48415
Ever since the plastic bag ban of my assnine Gov. I have a BUNCH of paper bags.

I am one of those guys who can tune your guitar perfectly by ear in a minute and a half tho so maybe it don’t work for someone who can’t tune a guitar by ear. (Hint- you only need to get that low E then you just tune the guitar to itself.) @spyralout
Rom, that's exactly how I tune. I'm probably not as good as you but that low E is the base note that I work from. Aside from having a piano or one of those fancy tuners (probably all online nowadays) it's the best method IMO ?

Now that I have all of my bark chunks saturated with bunny droppings I decided this product may provide a Catalyst for further action.
Short on volume. I need to either fluff up my finished supply, or start cutting spent pails into the mix.

This will put me within 30 gallons short.

Staring down the perlite,,and I just could not do it. I don't trust the looks of the stuff. I know I need it for its aerating, non absorbent qualities, but I just can't stand the look of it. Looks like I'll be crushing more brick.

School starts back up Monday. I still have a few buckets to pack up, then I can start with the dusty work.
