Dropped a couple of long-awaited genetics today! That makes the seedling closet consist of:

• Pure Michigan Genetics' [Pure CBD x (Durban x Burmese OG)] and
• Motarebel's Rebel Yell [(Strawberry Cough x Strawberry Diesel)] x Sweet Tooth #4]
• Hazeman's Comet Kush (The White x Stardawg) x Stardawg IX)
• Santero's (Oaxacan x (Stardawg (manny cut) x Rez' Sour Diesel IBL 2010)
• Our lovely Congo Preservation project (thread upcoming!)

Also flipped a couple of the Goldfish ladies.

Blowfish is starting to get stupid chunky, I'm gonna do a dab and post up some pics in a bit.

So the Hazeman (3/5) and Santero (7/8) stuff popped, and the Congo went 5/6 on germing. But the Rebel Yell and the Pure Michigan Genetics stuff were both pretty bitter disappointments. The Pure CBD x Poison Kush went 0/8, and the Rebel Yell went 2/10, with both that sprouted being mutants. An email sent to them has gone unanswered for a couple days.

Normally I give breeders the benefit of the doubt when it comes to stuff like this but not one of Tin Foil Hat, Black Swamp Gas, Sour Soda, and now Rebel Yell has over a 50% germ rate. I'll still be dropping the Baked Strawberry Ghash, but I'll be surprised if I get more than 5 plants from it. Considering that the dirt was new and soaked with H202 before dropping and that the peppers and other strains germed alongside those did well, I can only guess that there's something up with the way those were stored/shipped.

So then, today is a big drop day.

Another bit of not-great news: the (Uzbekistan x Nepalma) dude that I picked as a keeper started showing herm tendencies, so that line won't get to be worked out anymore. On the plus side, I'm just going to hit it with G13 Hazeplant pollen which will probably make a better strain in the end anyway.

I've got a bit of repotting and cleaning to do, then I'll come back with pics later.

Whew. Alright.

I pollinated the second Golden Tiger with both Haze and G13 Hazeplant. The best two PKO ladies got hit with both G13 Hazeplant and Haze pollen. The densest Goldfish and the last (and nicest by far) Tin Foil Hat got hit with G13 Hazeplant as well.

The last Secret Chief and first two Vale Tudo ladies got bigger pots today. The second Vale Tudo that I repotted looks like she has a lot of potential, with trichomes all over the top fan leaves. She'll more than likely get hit with... G13 Hazeplant.

Two of the Congo died due to my December depression doomsleep, but there are still 3 that are looking beautiful. If I don't get enough to chuck with from them, I'll just snag another pack from RSC and make it happen. Either way, I'm embarrassed that I fucked 'em up.

On to the pics. The seedling/rooting closet, under 24 hours. You'll see the pepper seedlings in the back, the last three (Oaxacan BX x Chewie), and the cups of seedlings up front. The one to the front right is @Schwaggy P 's Hell's Angels OG x Black Triangle, the one to the left with three seedlings is Hazeman's LA Pure Kush, The mutated Rebel Yell are in the other cup, one looking like it'll get over the early life mutations and one looking like it's just gonna die.



Here are the differentiating plants. Mostly Comet Kush, with some [(Grape Ape x Duct Tape) x Black Alchemy], some Vale Tudo, one Berry Nice Plants x Sanfune, and some Oaxacan BX x Chewie.

The late veg/reveg tent. Escaped is taking off in the back right corner, G13 Hazeplant is revegging with a vengeance in the other back corner. The Purple Wrecks are in the middle with the thin leaves, and the (Pipatxu x G13 Hazeplant) and (Col'Jam x G13 Hashplant) around them in the front row with some Secret Chief (bottom left corner plants) and the Forbidden Fruitcake around them. The last Cocoa Puffs is getting an extended reveg before getting flipped, as it's been the least temperamental of all of them so far.

So here's the first of the (Uzbekistan x Nepalma), aka PKO ladies to be close to mature. I remember the last generation being frosty, but not to this level.



Yeah, there's some burnt tips and thrip damage. But I'm happy with the frost level.

Another big dropping day.

The Go Blue Dream project moves forward even after the season ends, as 26 of Digital Dream [(Blue Dream) x (Wifi OG x Snowlotus)] and 10 of my [(Santa Cruz Blue Dream x ON Haze) x G13 Hazeplant] hit the dirt today. A couple of Biovortex's Black and Blue (Black D.O.G. x Blue Dream) freebees got dropped as well.

@Frimpong 's Blackberry Sugarcane (Sugar Cane x Blackberry Hammer) went down too, as well as Copa's Icy OG [(Purple Skittles (Sweet Tooth x Mendo Purps) smmj cut x '96 Black Domina} x (Iran x Snowlotus)] and Motarebel's Baked Strawberry Ghash [(Strawberry Cough x Strawberry Diesel) x (G13 Hashplant x SFV OG x Jack's Cleaner)]. Who called him the Dread Pirate Roberts on here? That had me rolling.

Repotted the LA Pure Kush and the Rebel Yell today. I'm hoping that a new pot in some sterile soil will get that little sprout going so there are two plants to choose from instead of one.

Even if the one turns out to be a dude I'll still probably cross it with Motherlode since I have a sneaking suspicion that the "Double Strawberry Diesel" in the (Hashplant x Double Strawberry Diesel) lady used to make Motherlode is the very same (Strawberry Cough x Strawberry Diesel) used in Motarebel's Lung Candy (which is the mother of Rebel Yell, with Sweet Tooth #4 being the father). So essentially a cross between the two would be a bunch of Strawberry with some Sweet Tooth, some Hashplant, and some of the worst-named strain ever, Killingfields {[Blueberry x (Killa Queen x NYCD)] x Sannies Jack Herer}.

The Cannabeizein [(Purple Goat x Tree of Life BX) x Pineapple Chakra], or as their site puts it: {[Trainwreck X (Blueberry X Skunk #1)] X [(Trainwreck X The Purps) X (Trainwreck X The Purps) X (Headband X Jack The Ripper)]} X (Pineapple Express X Plum Haze) X [(Trainwreck X The Purps) X (Headband X Jack The Ripper)] have started popping. For brevity, I'm just going to call them the Purple Pineapple Tree from here on out.

I'm the worst at keeping this updated.

Another big day today. Repotted all of the (Hell's Angels OG x Black Triangle), Motherlode, and the Purple Pineapple Trees. Moved 5 of the Comet Kush ladies to the 24 hour veg tent, up-potted the Tristar Double Diesel lady and put her in the late veg tent...

I also put together a new 4x4 tent and moved the entire flowering setup into there. There are two Kingbrite lights in there- one 320w and one 240w. That allows me to use the front two corners (with less light exposure) to initiate more stretching or to finish plants. After getting it all set up, I also realized that it gives me room to flower at least 5-6 plants more than my previous setup and it's much easier to control humidity levels. Win-win. It's dark in there now, but I'll post pics (and flip a few more plants to fill it out) once the lights are on again.

8 more plants fit in there, under the same lights, with better coverage. Next step is to pull them out and actually organize them by lineage for pheno hunting purposes.

Was searching Blackberry Bread and found your thread. One that caught my eye was the Comet Kush. I grew a pack out last year, I think nearly all germinated but I only ended up with 2 females out of the entire pack.

They grew nearly identical to their description, dense golf ball sized nugs that hug the main stem, much like the Lifesavers I have going now, except they were somewhat bland if I'm being honest.

Be careful taking them past 60 days, I did and ended up with about about 10 or more seeds in each plant. Good yielder for their size though. Had decent bag appeal, just a little underwhelming in smell and flavor. My 2 for 8 female ratio was ridiculous, I swear that's just my luck sometimes. I wouldn't be opposed to trying another pack some day though. The structure was 4.5 out of 5 for me, just wish they vegged faster.

Very interested to see how yours turn out, as yours got a much longer veg than mine. Nice work.

Thanks man! Yeah I've had some drops like that, especially this past year. The Comet was actually an outlier in that it made mostly ladies! I think I've got like 6 or 7 in there, if not more.

The first Comet lady just got put into a 3g pot yesterday, so she'll get flipped in a few weeks once the roots start exploring.

A bunch of plants just came down for me, but the most photogenic at the moment was clearly Wedding Cake x ON Haze.



Of course, she's got a few dozen maturing seeds of G13 Hazeplant in there, so she'll get put under 24 hours of light to reveg while the seeds mature.

I also pollinated prolifically the other day, now there's more fire coming down the pipeline.

Turns out there are some nice looking dudes of Chocolate Mindfuck [(Col'Jam x Killer Queen) x Cocoa Puffs] and Pipatxu [(Deep Chunk x Maizal Gord) x G13 Hazeplant], so there will be some chucking with them later.

The Congo for the preservation project have been both dudes so far, but one has yet to differentiate which makes me hold out hope that it's a lady. If I get three dudes, I'll just get another pack from Kwik/RSC and start over later. I will, however, probably cross one of those dudes to the Swazi/Burmese (that'll be dropped later this month) for a preservation project exclusive cross.

Just a quick look at the 24 hour tent. The Comet Kushes and Oaxacan x Chewies are in the 3 gallon pots on the left, getting a bit of veg time before going into the flower tent. Motherlode and all of the recently differentiated females are in the center container waiting for bigger pots. About half of the Digital Dream are in the container on the back left getting big enough to get put under 12/12, and the dudes are in the container below that.



The revegging plants on the bottom are Goldfish, Wedding Cake x ON Haze, and hopefully (Uzbekistan x Nepalma) F2. Goldfish was the biggest surprise of the three, it's some wonderful smoke and a strong plant.

The bigger news today, however, is what just got dropped. I'm trying out a new sterile starter soil mix (coco, vermiculite, GG 4-4-4, alfalfa, humic/fulvic blend, dolomite lime), so we'll see how that goes.

It's been a long time since I've put down anything with Widow (and Skunk to a lesser extent) genetics, but now seems as good a time as any to grow these out.

I wouldn't say the nugs were rock hard (like Bubba for example), but I actually prefer a bit of a more open structure than some. It's Kodiak Gold x (Lambsbread x Herijuana) and it blazes like it. There's a significant body stone and a calm, chill state of being. No restless leg/paranoia/raciness at all. It's hard for me to come up with a decent description right now because I'm fucking roasted on PKO/Wedding Cake and my train of thought is pretty much just a caboose sitting on some open tracks.

Definitely drop it, though! I've also had my eye on the Cheese BX and the HeadChez so let me know how they are when you drop them! I think I might want to do a Cheese pheno hunt later this year and his Velveeta and Cheese BX are definite candidates.

Come to think of it, I think it might be cool to hunt through the main Skunk phenotypes/offspring all at one time one day. Drop some Lemon Skunk, Cheese, Green Crack, LSD, Island Sweet Skunk, Shit, some semblance of RKS, and Skunk #1 together and just nerd the fuck out.

Yeah, that's actually perfect for me since most of the plants I grow end up being 10-11 weeks. Except for that Golden Tiger giant lady, which has been in flower for about 7 weeks so far with no signs of being done in the next month. Thanks for the tips!

[(Colombian Gold x Jamaican Lambsbread) x G13 Hashplant] x G13 Hazeplant, [(ECSD x Moonshine Haze) x G13 Hashplant], and [(Maizal Gord x Deep Chunk) x G13 Hazeplant]

...Col'Jam from Underground Seed Collective was one of my first real sativas. As soon as I first tried it, I knew that it was going to be an amazing building block. Soaring high with no raciness, fantastic structure, the flavor of chocolate, raspberries, and coffee liqueur... and a flowering period longer than most of my serious relationships.

Pipatxu [(Maizal Gord x Deep Chunk) x G13 Hazeplant] x itself for F2's

I wanted to keep this line pure so that next round I can see what recessive traits start to come out from that Pipatxu line. Pipatxu was also a unique smoke with great plant and bud structure, though it wasn't anxiolytic enough on its own to keep in pure form. G13 Hazeplant certainly has the potential to remedy that.

Sour Soda [(Cherry AK x (Durban Poison x Dutch Passion aka Pomegranate Kush red pop pheno) x (ECSD x (Stardawg x Tres Dawg)] x [(ECSD x Moonshine Haze) x G13 Hashplant)] and G13 Hazeplant

There's a pheno of Sour Soda that really stands out, especially in terms of smell. She's got a very candied lemon-lime soda kind of nose, good trichome size and distribution, and thick bud structure. Definitely stands out above the others.

Golden Tiger [Koh Chang Thai x Hmong Thai x Old Malawi Killer x 3rd generation New Malawi Killer] x (ECSD X Moonshine Haze) x G13 Hashplant).

No explanation needed there, hopefully. Thai + Malawi + Diesel + Ghash = Punches in bunches, thrown until ya frontless.

Once the chucking is done, I'll put up some pics.

I just call it like I see it!

To be honest I was chuckling to myself about the absurdity of someone going out to the sunny corpse field to find feet with the right goutiness and decomposition that would also fit the new shoes that, naturally, were just going to get burned with some garlic in a bizarre ritual to offend both the sinuses and sensibility of anyone downwind.

In non corpse-metaphorical news, I finally got all of the Comet Kushes repotted, I think the total is 8 ladies. Excited to see how they turn out and chuck some pollen at the nice ones.

The G-High lady also got a bigger pot, as did the single Rebel Yell lady. Those were two of the more unfortunate drops of last year, but both of those ladies show promise.

The first to break the soil of the last drop was (Orange Gasm x G13 Hazeplant). I think the terps on this one could end up being crazy juicy if things end up mixing right. The G13 Hazeplant has a roasted pineapple aroma (pretty sure my exact description was "roasted pineapple dipped in crazy glue") and the Orange Gasm has a fresh/candied orange zest aroma that carries on to the palate.

The Baked Strawberry Ghash {[Strawberry Cough x Strawberry Diesel] x {Ghash x SFV OG x Jack's Cleaner]} have started to differentiate. Thankfully it looks like I'll get at least one dude out of those to cross with Motherlode ([(Hashplant x (Strawberry Cough x Strawberry Diesel)] x [(Blueberry Sativa x {Killa Queen x NYCD} x Sannie's Jack]} and Rebel Yell [(Strawberry Cough x Strawberry Diesel) x Sweet Tooth] in the hopes of finding some interesting Strawberry offspring.

The Santero's Oaxacan x Chewie BX dude got a bigger pot today too. As soon as he gets settled, I'm gonna flip him and hopefully get buckets of pollen. That'll end up getting hit to the gassiest Secret Chief F2 as well as the ladies of itself that just got flipped.
