Speaking of G13 Haze, a combined warhead of it and Haze x Kali China is a crushingly heavy hitter. Not much in the way of body stone, but the high almost feels like wearing a motorcycle helmet. It's, like, aggressively chill, if that makes any sense. That obviously portends good things for the [(Haze x Kali China) x (G13 Haze x G13 Hashplant)] beans that are going down soon.

So these are both G13 Hazeplant. The one on the left is a cut from the one on the right, taken when she was flipped, with another 8" cut taken from her that should be rooting in the next couple days. That's an impressive amount of vigor in my book.
Look at its pretty striped stems! And ignore the dead leaves!
The blue tape on the branches is how I mark what's pollinated, that one is G13 Hazeplant x Tin Foil Hat. They're generally the branches that get saved for revegging as well.
I feel super lucky to be able to work with these genetics. And thankful to the many humans that have contributed to making them.

The initial smoke on the 90 is underwhelming, but that's from the smaller plant, not the nice one that's still going. Not particularly heavy, with kind of a dull, flat high. No warmth or mental effects at all. So definitely no crosses from that one, haha.
If the other one has a different high, it'll tell me what to breed with it.

Man. Even the barely dry bottom buds of Ghash are leagues better than the tops of A90 the lesser. It's gentle, but powerful. Like being caught in a 4-5 foot wave of relaxation and pain relief, but not really stupefying. Which I fucking need right now because I'm pretty sure my ribs are cracked from wrestling. I really, really like that cut, it's a perpetual keeper for sure. Barring any unforeseen complications, I'll be crossing it with Escaped down the road.

Well, a few weeks of curing has made a world of difference with the first Afgaan 90. I love being wrong.
The terps have started to come out, with some subtle sandalwood and black tea aromas. But the high changed dramatically. It's now much more rounded, eyelid-drooping, and slate-clearing. The body stone is developing, my neck is getting heavy as I type this. Coming back after writing the rest of this post, essentially my entire body is relaxed and pain-free.
The second A90 has gone under 18/6 for a few days of bud fattening while I watch for reveg sites. Once they start appearing, the buds will come off and she'll go back to vegging. Assuming she smokes like her sister does, she'd be an excellent candidate for pollen from G13 Hazeplant, Haze, etc.
Speaking of G13 Hazeplant, the first one's not far out! The initial "concept test" of vaping both G13 Hashplant and G13 Haze together was among the best highs I've had. That very G13 Haze is already crushing the reveg, she'll be ready to take cuts from and flower in 6 weeks, tops. That Ghash cut just went into flower a couple weeks ago, but will be smashed with Haze and G13 Hazeplant pollen among others like Black Swamp Gas and Tin Foil Hat.
Speaking of Tin Foil Hat, the first of them went into flower today. That's [(Rugburn OG x Royal Kush) x Pink Kush]. I have high hopes for that, pun fully intended.
The terps on Haze x Kali China are starting to come out. There's incense there as well as subtle peach and windex notes, the high is very nice as well. [(Haze x Kali China) x G13 Hazeplant] beans will be dropped this month. Escaped and Secret Chief F2 are just breaking the surface now.

The Ghani beans are drying now!
I got to sample the first buds of Orient Express tonight, and that high is goddamn elegant. The terp profile is quite loud, with notes of elderflower, lilies, incense, centennial hops, peach skin, and cilantro. There's actually a little tangible bitterness in my mouth after vaping it, but in a pleasant palate-cleansing sense. The high is 100% in the head, stimulating but not racy, with kind of like a non-drowsy slow motion effect going on. There is a bit of a hallucinatory effect, but not in the twitchy way. Colors and music seem more vibrant, etc. It's simply an impressively refined high.
The clone of this is absolutely getting hit with G13 Hazeplant, hopefully it'll add some stretch, durian/funk notes, and more effect in the body. Looking forward to seeing what her sister brings to the table as well!

The bad news is that the first G13 Hazeplant is done and isn't pretty. Like, at all. But I know that's all on me because her clone and sister are looking killer.
The good news is that it's everything I wanted from the high. Definite influences from both G13 Haze and G13 Hashplant, it's an eye-closing galaxy trip with a body stone so strong that it borders on dissociative. Delicious dreamy munchy moonshot weed. Even with my grow fuck-ups along the way, it's got a complex terp profile. The Hashplant influence brought more depth to the acrid cat pee/durian aromas of the G13 Haze, adding some light roast coffee, perfume, grilled meat, and old sesame oil notes to round it out.
More good news is that there are seeds of both G13 Hazeplant and (G13 Hazeplant x Tin Foil Hat) that came off of her today. I also harvested some (Ghash x Haze) seeds that are less mature than ideal but should still pop and some (Orient Express x G13 Hazeplant) beans.
I'll make a few batches of seeds from both females and then do a much larger pheno hunt next generation from the best of this one. That G13 Hazeplant dude is already dropping pollen again, so it will be chucked with soon and prolifically. Tin Foil Hat, Silk Road Skunk, Blowfish, Orient Express, Orange Gasm, Kali China, Purple Wreck, Lemon Citron, Haze...
It's similar to what I did with PKO, the first generation of which started differentiating this week. This round, the rest of the F1's were dropped along with the F2's (that selected against early flowering). It's interesting to see some basic confirmation that my half baked breeding ideas are somewhat successful.
I'll come back with pics once the lights are on.

This is the 12/12 tent, for dudes throwing pollen (like the G13 Hazeplant on the right), dudes starting to flower, and differentiating plants. Sour Soda and (Pipatxu x G13 Hazeplant) got their own pots and joined the party today, the space for them being made by the newly differentiated females of Cocoa Puffs, Wedding Cake x ON Haze, Golden Tiger, Turkish, and my PKO (Uzbekistan x Nepal x Panama).
The 24 hour tent, for revegging dudes and vegging ladies. The two big ladies on the right are Wedding Cake x ON Haze and PKO. The dudes are Haze, G13 Hazeplant, Black Swamp Gas, Super Lemon Haze x Moonshine Haze, Blowfish, and Blue Dream x ON Haze. Those last two will get flipped to flowering again this week for pollination purposes.
The 18/6 late veg tent. Two Cocoa Puffs, two PKO's, and a Golden Tiger joined on the left side, next to the (hopefully) revegging Afgaan 90. The rest is filled out with USC's Turkish, Purple Wreck, Blowfish, G13 Hazeplant, Ghash, Tin Foil Hat,
Half of flower. A cross from a friend that I've dubbed Valencian Haze is the huge lady in the back. Interstate Dragons are on the left, thickening up. Orange Gasm is the thick lady up front, and Hazes are to two sides of her. Some top buds of the G13 Hazeplant are peeking out above the Orange Gasm.
The other half of flower. The stretchy pheno of G13 Hazeplant (the diamond-shaped plant in the center) and Zhe Pinch (to its left) are really showing off here.

Did a bunch of repotting and cleaning today.
The red solo has Berry Nice Plants from an old breeder known as E$kob@r, which is Santa Maria x (Santa Maria x Chocolate Rain). Santa Maria is a clone from France also called "cerise d'Exo Planck," (Exo Planck's Cherry), that is Riri Sour Diesel Cut x UK Cheese via somatic breeding. From Monsieur Exo-Planck:
"The somatic crossing is a cross between two non-sexual cells. One starts by taking a few cells of each variety, taking a piece of leaf and performing an extraction of protoplasm. A crossing is then made by means of an electric shock which will then weld the cells. Here I have only selected cells that have fused their cytoplasm but not their nucleus, to harvest the chloroplasts and mitochondria of one variety with nuclear genome on the other. Chloroplast and mitochondria being responsible for colors, odors and partly resistance. Subsequently, I realize a micropropagation to regenerate a plant."
Yeah, so that's leagues beyond my chucking ability. ?
The container here has 5 Escaped plants and 3 Secret Chief ('88Ghash x SFV), with another Secret Chief in the deli cup next to it. Forbidden Fruitcake got dropped in the blue pot up front.
In the pots up front are Guava Dawg x HP7, Col'Jam x Ghash, and Pipatxu x G13 Hazeplant.
The dudes and vegging ladies, along with Motorbreath 15 x HP7 babies up front.

Nice to see that some of E$ko’s gear made it to your place, I’ve run the Exo’s Cerise for about two years and it was pure fire! SD riri cut was great as well!
If I remember well, I think there was a confusion between Santa Maria (Planck cut) and Exo’s Cerise when E$ko got them, as they are two distinctive clones.
