I got some beans labeled chem gopher from Capt. a while ago. Are those from you? Couldn't remember. If so , were those autos or regs?

Si. Regulars. I'm currently smoking my F4's.

This is a Brutis OG x Chemdawg cross a client gave me. He's a 2nd generation grower and someone in his grow circle made the cross in 2016. I'm the only one still working it as far as I know but I did try to get the seeds out there for others to enjoy. Good cross but takes forever to finish. I love that chem taste.

A few years ago I grew it in winter and it turned out purple

I don't have any growing this winter but I do have GDP which really turns purple in the cold and they're still 3 months or so away. If you look close you'll see the aphids that attacked that year. I had to blast them off with the hose before harvest. I still have a few quart jars with these buds.

I have a few f4 or 5 left, but the ones I sent out where his f3's the 1st one's he sent me.

I moved the runt DF auto

onto the patio to start flushing and man she's got a funk to her. Probably only get a half oz off her but damn. I'd love to harvest 5-10 of these a month. Can't wait to taste her. I am intrigued by that smell in a good way.

The 1/2 gallon pots arrived today

I think I'll order a couple different auto strains and see about this monthy harvest idea. I'd sure like an oz of several different strains each month.

Trust me I try to run everything sent to me but it takes time...
Most the guys here are into crossing stuff, so there's a lot of stuff going around...
And I made alot of stuff that needs tested and ran, and my growing out here has Really Sucked Honestly...

I think I messed up

I should have pollinated this runt hermie and/or left that pollen ball alone. OMG what a smell. On the way to Funky Town. If there are any seeds I'm have to plant 'em. I can't wait to try this one?

It produced a single ball off the stem just below the topping. I pulled it off when I saw it and I've got a pic somewhere. Haven't seen any others.

I dm'ed another grower for their menu of autos and I'll bug firmpong.

Not even 90 days and I'm using bottled water and manicuring. I should be puffing these buds within a few weeks. THIS works for me.❤

Time to flip. With 16 plants I should get 8/8 males to females, in a perfect world. I'll be happy with 2 females each and the rest males so anything past 6 females would be good.

Clipped and saved some sugar leaf a couple days ago and rolled it up smoking it now. Only hints of that funk but for leaf a very smooth hit.

Came from my F1 Dragon Flame auto seeds. He was sitting on my patio under an LED light that stays on sometimes all night and wasn't displaying sex so I moved it away from the light a week ago and he's all boy as I suspected and why I pulled him out of the greenhouse. Not displaying auto but has the gene. Hopefully one of the DF auto x GDP females will mature quicky enough and I'll of course save pollen.

The Unknown Strain

Looked at separating these two but with the roots of the mother plant still in place there's no way without killing both so here we are. Once I start removing males from the large greenhouse I'll move these two over and see what I've got.

Going to order a couple auto strains, Blueberry, Sweet Tooth and Jack Herer all fem. You know I'll cross them with the DF auto and work 'em?

Really more of a "smell," you know, where you bury your nose into the buds and continue to smell it for some time after? Awesome. At first it's like wtf is that and then the sweet comes through. Funky Sweet. Difficult to describe but mouthwatering. Got her hanging in the garage and she'll dry quick, couple days maybe. It is what it is. Got a jar waiting.

The biggest change is with the DF auto x GDP's ("GDPx" hence forth)


Noticing a basic theme here? Besides adding a couple inches each the pheno displayed is it's Big Bud lineage on the GDP side. Makes me wonder what's in the DF autos @Capt's Farm ? I was curious how they'd react when I cut the light from 15hrs to 10 1/2 being a reg x auto cross. Just beautiful at 40 days of age (popped Oct 7, the 4 topped ones are Sept 27). I plan on putting a couple back in the little greenhouse under 14hr days.

are taking their sweet time developing but they did double in size and I didn't expect such a stretch from an auto. Learn something new every day.

Still no signs of sex on these regs yet but as I said above a few started stretching

Daydreaming in the large greenhouse this morning I could see 8-10 1/2gal pots with an auto in each in a single 2' x 2' space. This is very doable and may be worth setting up another pump and barrel?

Gotta run to the country today (Valley Center) to visit clients with a horse ranch and where I've gotten hundreds of pounds of horse manure the past few years, even grew a couple plants in composted manure through to harvest (don't recommend). They need a new toilet which is wonderful as I've got a bad lower back which has been acting up the past couple days but I gotta work so 2 caps and a Jay of Gherry I'm good to go? could be worse, could be raining...

Couldn't tell ya. I'm an old stoner, I can't remember what I had for dinner 2 nights ago? seriously.

I assumed it was a sativa leaner but

like all of 'em there's genes in there lurking waiting to wow us. I'm an Indica lover and I love this male plant from this line who's not displaying the auto gene (I obviously have a bit more work to do on these) to get them (majority) to look like this

This is one huge 40 day old plant. There's a few more within an inch. The stem is about 3/8" thick. These will be used, abused and all pollen saved.

THIS is why you need to plant 2+ dozen seeds.

From what I recall someone was working these to f2 or f3, I grew them in soil this past summer. Of 10 seeds popped 9 were grown in soil producing 2 good f and 3 m. All displayed the auto gene. One was kept in coco and grown with my regs and was a nice reg female like that male I have on the side of the house.

Now I've grown out the resulting seeds from the soil grow.

I really thought these were from you this past Feb/March???

I can find a strain name of Dragon Fire but not Dragon Flames, which is a grower.

I do think I sent you a bunch of stuff around that time like 7 diff crosses in tubes.
But nothing named that
2 yrs ago when I did the f2 for Reno's to give away ( you're running both of those) I also made 2 different crosses and one had Dragon Flame Gens
Crosses in it .
But it didn't really run a few people got it in a seal but it was called County road or Capt's Candy, I would have to look.. and both of those where remade .

I have never made a Auto....

I did get some beans from that guy in Florida that's on the farm that made a few crosses that had a 50 percent chance of going but I wouldn't have sent them to you and the names not even close..
