My mom is the OG Greenthumb. She can grow and salvage anything from the tiniest of growth. The one thing that she doesn't grow is Cannabis, because of the negative stigma that she's seen over the years with all of the 1980's Say NO To Drugs (D.A.R.E.) campaigns. Well, I can certainly fill that void ;) Her entire garden, which spreads all over the front and back yard, is absolutely gorgeous, especially during bloom time. I visited her today and here are a couple of pics. I will try to grab more when I can.

This is "Canna [Indica]". Funny, the main plant that stuck out to me due to the structure and "groovy" veins has a name that is closest to our beloved plant. I guess you eat the roots of these? This is just a tiny sample of her garden, she has stuff all over the place. It's not chaotic by any means. It's like a "nature takes its course, within guidance boundaries" type of garden. One of the main aspects of her gardening is that it's 100% Organic (she doesn't buy or use any nutes, pesticides, anything). She has some really nice heirloom tomatoes plumping up, I should grab a pic of those next time.

She said this is Tiger Lily. It's common, but man it's still so pretty in bloom.
Your mom's can feel free to give my yard a makeover too mang. Got a great big yard here needs some attention like that.
Happy to provide room and board? Lol.
You'd even be welcome to come visit again too. Lol

OK funny story.

mid 90s. Was at local brick weed kingpin's pad. Never seen a triple beam in use outside of chem class, started helping him weigh out sacks. Whatever was left on the table, I could keep. Had to help him do breakouts - Ps to QPs to Oz, mostly QPs. It all intrigued me so much, the whole "we are using grams to figure out oz for drugs" type of shit lol. Later I would find out that a true oz is 28.4g (rounded slightly up), and he always rounded down to 28, so his P's were 448, and a few years later the GOOD SHIT from Humboldt always weighed at least 454. Oh these early revelation moments we have when learning about the industry.

So I look to the backyard and see a plant in a clay pot. Looking in retrospect, a 2-3 gal pot. About a foot tall. I ask, "How much will that plant make?" He said, "About 2 lbs" (bullshit lol). So I did quick math in my head and said, "How much?" he said, "$50" so I went for it, based on $50-60/oz or $450/lb at the time for brick. Seemed to be a no brainer! I toted that plant everywhere lol. This was around May. It had seen multiple spots, within big conifer trees at my GF's parents' house, knocked over by her dad while he was landscaping the side, he didn't notice (and he was military drill sarge), wtf lol. He had even killed some mini pot plants from the neighbor kids who were Lagwagon fans lol. Even to where I had a friend keep it and she put an incandescent bulb on it, cuz we didn't know any better. It just kinda stayed stagnant, a little growth, but I didn't know any better. The guy I bought it from, his GF said, "Yea it woulda been a bigger plant but his little nephew, cut the main (now we know that as topping) to roll up n smoke, cuz he didn't know no better." ? Then finally, around Sept or so, I had no more spots, so I brought it to my mom. I played the fact that my mom WILL NOT KILL A PLANT if she can help it.

Mom: "What is this?" ?

Me: "Indian Fern" ?????

Mom: ? ok I'll see what I can do

A few weeks later the plant chunked TF out all super lime green. I was reading Mel Frank's Marijuana Grower's Insider's Guide at the time. He mentioned about the earlier harvest time having a "speedier" high. I wanted to see what that was like because everything I've ever had was "down" or "sleepy." Down she went.

My first pot plant. And my Greenthumb mom nursed it back to health. She finally found out what it was when she walked into my room and said, "Why do you have those branches hanging from the curtain rods??" ???

I also inadvertently attempted my first re-veg, not knowing wtf re-veg was, by leaving a tiny bit on the plant. It worked, but winter killed her.

Great "first pot plant" story. I know we all got one and yours was much more successful than mine haha
Mine was grown in a tiny sliding door closet under a bunch of fluorescents. Zero air circulation, zero ventilation and it was about 120*F in there the whole time the light was on. For some miraculous reason it actually made it to flower.....just enough to go "poof" with yellow dust all over my hand when I touched the main stem for a looksy lmao. I spent all that time thinking about my bags of chunky killer buds I'd be puffing on soon while I was growing 1 single male plant.

Spy would it help to eliminate a few plants to have the room to get in there and tie some tops down? I have my machete standing by on my current run as some were 30" at flip. I did have to cull a couple of nice female plants to make room(ouch i hate doing that).

Capt I HATE killing any plant but I think I need to do this too. I had good intentions going in but with my life obligations it has been challenging. I think I will go and do some pulling this weekend.

I bent the shit outta branches, no net yet, not sure if I will. I'm only considering it now for one of the plants because of its weakness standing up. Even so, they just keep charging like a MF

I opened the tent and this happened
*FLOP* Green Crack #3 was caught leaning on the door ?

How about some stackage forming. Not a big fan of this pre-pubesecent flower stage, but I haven't seen stacking like this in a while ?

Some quick shots of the 3x3 tent. Supercropped out of necessity, in no rhyme or reason... but they just DGAF

How about that absolutely gorgeous 11 blader.

The spread on this plant is incredible. She just wants to take over any spot she can, but in a flat-squat spread type of way. Almost like a mechanism to get as much light as possible. Watch out, this plant is trying to steal the show. 2 really pretty and uniform Girl Scout Cookies are under there if you can discern the differences in this jungle.

I had to cull 4 plants but look at the results with the others. Good call @Capt. C ?
