What the hell, might as well post my credentials for membership in the hair farmer club. This was early 90's me.

I recall in the late 80's when everyone suddenly said I looked like Slash. I explained I'd looked like that for years before anyone had ever heard of Slash, and if anything, that fucker looked like me.

My Wife's a front-line ER Nurse, we know that she had it, so pretty sure I did too - quarantine isn't possible in our house.
We think it's an "echo" type virus - I got SICK early summer, then Sick in the Fall, then sick in the late fall.
FWIW, I almost NEVER get sick, so 3x in one year is concerning.

I have to get a yearly exam to get med refills for a year. Last year, they told me to skip it, and authorized another year's worth. This year, in spite of my protests, they insisted I come in and give 'em some blood. I understand somewhat, but it still pi$$ed me off. Then I got more stoned, and decided to have some fun with it. I ordered and wore a full hazard suit with face shield, two masks, and latex gloves. Not that I believe any of it offers actual protection - mosquitos and chain link fences etc.

I was in and out of there in record time, with a bonus 'script for anxiety pills. And I had fun in a perverse kind of way, but you know, fun is where you find make it.
