First time I've ever listened to her... I get the hype.

Yeah, she's very good. I get it too.
Birthday tribute.

1947 David Byron [Garrick], British vocalist (Uriah Heep) (d. 1985)

Byron sang on ten Uriah Heep albums: Very 'eavy Very 'Umble, Salisbury, Look at Yourself, Demons and Wizards, The Magician's Birthday, Live, Sweet Freedom, Wonderworld, Return To Fantasy, and High and Mighty.

Byron died of alcohol-related complications, including liver disease and seizures, at his home in Berkshire on 28 February 1985. He was 38 years old.

50 years later this epic track remains the gem most everyone missed, including 4 straight sizzling Mick Box guitar solos.

My favorite Uriah Heep tune, easily. Nice pull. Love your birthday celebrations.
IMHO much better than the original.

That was gorgeous.

That gangsta rap piano tho.

This was my last post in the music thread at the site where leadership ultimately failed to grok me [ or my sidekick socks ]. Adriano created a new language of sorts for the lyrics. Other than "I'm probably the coolest cat of all time", no translation is available.

" "Prisencolinensinainciusol" (1972), which was written to mimic the way English sounds to non-English speakers despite being almost entirely nonsense.[6] "

Mondo Cane chose not to cover it.

Jimi Hendrix said several times that Terry Kath was his favorite guitarist. He'd have been 75 yrs old today.

Many bands/artists can never equal the greatness of their first release. In Chicago's case, they could never match the first track on their first release. It's no wonder.

I know, I know, I said that I would quit
All right, I promise, no more after this
You don't know how I tried
To forget what it was like
I remember now
I remember now
Why they called it Thunderbird
