Where were the Blue Cheese from? I’m still looking for something similar to a plant I ran in my early days of growing…
I have been growing Blue Cheese since the very first time I ever grew anything; This is year # 3 for me, and I started off with my Fiance and I going to a friend's house and getting two clones, which he had Blue Cheese and a few other ones as well, and I said "Well my vote goes to Blue Cheese" and so we got one clone of that, and then my Fiance picked Sunshine, and those two plants were our start. Then last year the clones of Blue Cheese were late so they missed like 4 or 5 weeks of veg, but I didn't care, it's literally my all time favorite strain ever, and we ended up with some seeds from the batch, and unlike the first year, I since had learned how to start plants from Seed, so this year I got 4 seeds of Blue Cheese from my previous year's clones to sprout, and out of the 4, there were 2 males, and two females, so I chopped the male plants down once they showed pollen sacs and left the females, and took 5 clones off the first female as she had enough branches when it was time, and though I waited a bit longer to clone off her, they still produced like you'd expect from a strain so amazing LOL. I did notice the other Seedling has a slightly different smell to her, as the Mother I used for my clones was like..... DANKY Cheese and Skunky with a sweet Blueberry undertone, and the other Seedling ended up having an.... Almost lavender smell? The Cheese and Berry smell is still there, but the sour cheese smell the mother ended up with is a little different. But I just ran with what I had.
I've got seeds already set aside for next year from both the Mother and the other Seedling, and we already have Motor Breath Seeds for next year, and Chem D of course, and as of yesterday Hawaiian Sunshine which I can't find ANY info on. May have been done locally by a breeder though. I mark my plants, and when we go to start cropping them, we mark everything so that way we know which seeds came from which plants, and our Grease Monkey plants finally had some Seeds too, which I'll probably use next year along with the GMO I got.
