Today has been a lot of that Blue Cheese X Mikado, and me still not being sure what that flavor is. I'll "keep checking" lol it's good though. Very relaxing and calming. I may need to look up Mikado and see what it smells like cause there's a lot going on.

OK I found conflicting info on Mikado, so I grabbed a jar and started sniffing.

There's totally a citrus smell that hits hard, but it's also really peppery and with the creamy thing you'd expect from a Cheese strain. This in my experience takes time to develop so it's a generic creamy smell currently. I thought I detected either pine, or maybe... pine sol like? It gets really convoluted sometimes because of the number of differing pungent aromas that hit you. It smells incredible and will make your fingers hashy after grinding it. I'll see if the next one I smoke has a bit more flavor to reveal but I've already had a "juicy" texture on the tongue. It's like citrus juice hits your tongue and possibly a tartness or twang? The rest was more difficult to think about as I was kind of stuck on that juicy texture. It's really good! Just hard to describe as of yet.

Today I've been testing strains for pain. My back is pretty shitty and the Wife has a bad neck issue, and she had mentioned that Black Lime Special Reserve has helped before so I ground a bunch of that up. We smoked mostly that today, but after a bit she needed something else. I grabbed some Chem D #2, and she couldn't really roll them because of her neck so I made the first joint of that which I named "Franken-Guppy".... she had to fix it to be smoke able.... *sigh*

The other two were a little better but I suck at this bad. If I made Vacuum Cleaners I could say mission accomplished but no.

The Chem D #2 has a way different flavor so that was the selling point for the Wife *she doesn't like the Chem D flavor of #1 lol) and though it seemed to help it did cause some anxiety (that happens with some weed) so I gave her a Blue Cheese X Mikado as that one is like a tranq dart lol.

Wife said the Black Lime Special Reserve tasted kind of like Sage. The smell is still Lime and really strong Black Pepper, but the taste is different. I've been loving this strain quite a bit. Being a Chemdog cross that's not shocking. She's spicy for sure. There's a very distinct citrus flavor that's left on your lips when you smoke this. It's sour too. After hitting it you get a legit sour citrus flavor on the lips.

I imagine this effect would be not unlike a proper Sour Diesel, and the peppery effects add to this.

This may end up in next season's run too if I have space. Have a good night everyone.

Shoreline's "Candy Mints" has a good head, but I can function just fine on it! I saved a zip for my brother-in-law, but if he doesn't show up in the next week, well, he's just fucked. I give a good amount of produce to those I care about or those in need, but bullshit if I have to deliver it. Maybe I'm out of line but, if I do all the work, then all he's gotta do is consume it. I swear, sometimes it seems the whole world has a 'welfare' state of mind:facepalm:

Whatever resin producing strain combo it was (Gorilla Hammer lowers/larf I pulled a couple days ago) Blk Abyss, GDP, BBHP and some Captain's Candy got oil all over my mouth. I put it in a stone and fired it back up for 2 whole puffs before it went out. Oily shit. I should be pressing this stuff?

It's all the trichs on the tray, like sand but I can't wait to try one of those Gorilla Hammer's I cleaned up today and jarred
