My scorpians this year were beautiful full robust monsters with zero peppers.

Grilled Italian sausages tonight. I buttered the bun and seasoned it with a little garlic and italian seasoning and toasted them on the grill. I layed some of my pickled peppers in the bun, then sausage, and topped it with some smoked queso I made last weekend. Lil macaroni and tater salad to go with it.

So massaging vinegar into kale (lemon juice works too) it tenderized the kale so you could eat it without cooking it.

Carnitas last night. Two shoulder roasts in the crock pot, shredded, and finished in the oven (broiled 6 mins).

Used the last Terryaki porkchop and some leftover rice to make a Thai fried rice... first time actually using some of the leaves from @Deebs makrut lime, along with some soy sauce, fish sauce, rice wine, ginger, garlic, shallot, shishito pepper, egg and fairie eggplant. Topped with a nice dollop of my fermented habanero sauce.... I like nights I can feed myself and ignore my picky children

Backstrap from my daughter's deer, so damn good. Had some grill issues in the middle of this arctic blast that hit last night so we seared them on cast iron.

Was up north and picked up some produce. Got 2 basketball size cauliflower heads for 3 bucks per, never seen anything that big. Made a cauli and cheese casserole, mashed cauli (wow) and roasted cauli. Each floret in the roasted is dipped in butter, then breaded in panko that's been jazzed up. Made some pickled beets as well.

Oh ya love me some backstrap. Nothing better than when it's fresh, never been frozen...... I've found a few poached animals too, pisses me off. Found a bull elk a few years ago, the only thing they took was the head. I like to think karma catches up with people like that
