This is a new one on me... the shrimp is pretty obvious but the other fried one looks loke fish of some sort? And are those pork ribs?
Yes β€œIsland White Fish” which probably means Tilapia lol ? also yes β€œKalbi Short Ribs” sounds like a nickname for a stout running back playing for

Oh hell yeah. We get the kalbi ribs pre-marinated from a korean spot in the summer to throw on the grill. Never seen them done any other way, cool to see em served like that. I wanna go to Hawaii real bad, but I heard its an expensive trip

Hit up a bahn mi spot Ive never tried before today @spyralout . Flavors were on point but it was too much bread imo

Wow that does look like too much bread. But how were the other ingredients like the pickled veggies? Did they include all the meats and have a decent amount of pate? Some places skimp out on at least one meat which is lame AF and you can tell right away

wow wow wow! that pizza @Mim Towls !! Looks incredible, I appreciate the side view of the slice, looks super light, airy, fluffy, and crispy! I've made a lot of pizza but have yet to make a cast iron pizza, and it looks like that would just blow the rest out of the water. basiclly just crisping the dough in delicious cast iron grease, yeah? yum.

I like bahn mi's quite a bit, I do agree they can get bready but a good bahn mi roll is a delicious ingredient. it helps if they really load it up, makes the ratio a little better. extra pickled veggies n shit.

Whats in store for ol' dino for lunch today? who knows? coffee probably

I got the Thit Nuong so there was no pate, it was the roasted pork (pork belly I think?) with a housemade aioli type sauce, the nuoc cham, pickled veg, cukes and jalapeno. There definitely wasnt enough of the pork but it tasted amazing. The pickled veg was great too. Hard to complain too much though, it was $6 in Boston. Nothing is $6 in Boston. Im not sure if I could buy just the roll for $6 at a bakery in Boston these days.
