After axing the Chosen Mango I rearranged the flower tents lighting cause there is currently just the two BBBread plants in there.
I'm considering flipping the Frozen Lemonade this weekend. I have a tendance to veg things longer that I need to. I have a rooted clone of it, and have taken additional clones of her as well.
I snapped some shots of the BBBread plants while I was there. They are both really starting to beef up. FIRED UP!!

Today we say our goodbyes to the second of the Chosen Mango plants.
She was a beast. I let her go 81 day.

Hey Gals and Guys,
I haven't updated for a while. Everything is going well.
I am about to flip the Frozen Lemonade; this is the clone that a friend brought me from CO.
I have rooted clones of her, and she is getting pretty leggy. I've never ran this strain, and I am thinking that there may be a fair bit of stretch in there.
IMG_0167.JPG

The other thing that I have to report is that this is the first time I have taken a 'large' number of clones.
These are from the Wedding Cake plant, and they clone like a dream.
I went 15 for 15, and they were all showing roots in 7-8 days. Pretty pleased with this turn out.
They will go to my biology professor friend who will distribute them out to his students.
(BTW, I am using the exact same method to clone the Frozen Lemonade. So far, I am at 3 for 4 at 22 days.
apparently, some genetics just like to clone better, or at least quicker than others.)

So, I haven't updated this in a while. Let's fix that.

@GthaEnigma @Frimpong

I cloned out the Wedding Cake plant to be able to distribute them around a bit.
I hit 15 out of 15, and I have to admit I was pretty tickled about that.
I think it was more about the plant was easy to clone, than any great skill on my behalf.
But I will still call it a WIN!!
IMG_0194.JPG

While I was dropping those clones off, I asked my buddy if he would test the Chosen Mango that I have been curing out.

He sent me a pic of the machine's readout, and I have to say, I was pretty pleased.

IMG_0197.JPEG

As I am not a smoker, giving a 'smoke report' isn't something that I can provide.
I did give some of the Chosen Mango to a buddy of mine for him to test out. About an hour after he left, I get a text...
It says, "I tried the Chosen Mango, it's tasty...and strong!"
So, I don't think this fellow will ever be a writer for High Times, but I took that as a positive review.

And lastly, the BBBread plants are really looking great. I'm guessing they will need another two weeks to finish out.
I cloned out one of these plants also, and 5 clones went to an outdoor grower with 30+ years of growing experience.
I just asked him how they were doing, and he said that he has three in pots and two in the ground. All of them took to the outdoor life well, and he is excited to see what they bring. (so am I)

Those BBBreads will be heavy producing plants, damn things are just loaded!

I thought I would give a picture update on the BBBread plants. @Frimpong
It's really hard to get a good picture of the whole plant with the size that they are.
They are both just loaded with weight and make me smile just looking at them.
I have never had a plant throw out new growth like this, (foxtailing??) so I really don't know where I stand with these.
This is not a negative for me, as I am not concerned about bag appeal. I am an edible user, and I only grow for myself and friends.
Asking for advice from those more experience than myself...
I plan on going by the maturity of the trichomes when it comes to choosing when to harvest.
Is that the right choice?
These were flipped 4/24/22, so 78 days today.
I'm not in any kind of hurry, and I want to try to do right by them.
I included pics of the trichomes for reference.
What would y'all do with these girls if they were in your garden??

Thanks in advance,

Topic of the day...Blackberry Bread!! @Frimpong

I have two of those girls in flower, they are finishing out a little different than I have seen before.
One of the girls got the ax today, and I will wait to see what the other one does in the next week.

This is the girl's whose life I ended...

IMG_0263D.JPG IMG_0264.JPG IMG_0265.JPG

And this is the girl that get to play a little longer...

IMG_0267.JPG IMG_0268.JPG IMG_0269.JPG

Both of these are just loaded with weight, as you can see, they couldn't support themselves anymore.
Total BEASTS!!
Thanks Frim for the chance to run them!!

Cheers,
WillieP

This thing is a BEAST!!
I mentioned before, I haven't ever grown anything that has acted quite like this one.
(That's not a complaint.)
She is coming down this weekend.
I can't keep growing her forever.
If this thing could move on its own, I think it might take over the world!!

Cheers,

Damn Willie... monster of meats right there!

I remember thinking from your last post, about the new flush of white pistils... That second wind... she's showing her horny-ness man! ?

How long has she been flowering again? Cause, that usually has only really happened with me when the plant is already past it's initial harvest window and is putting more feelers out in an attempt to catch pollen. Which also leans to tell me that this line is is stable, as this is when most herm-proned genetics would typically show themselves, ie nanners and/or ballsacks.

Just speculation on my end... Killing it brotha!?

I didn’t express myself well in my last post.
This BBBread plant was flipped 95 days ago.
When she started to through all the new growth I was surprised. But she still looked happy and healthy, so I figured I would let her go and just see.
Scope shows cloudy with almost no amber, so I have just continued to let her do her thing as a bit of an experiment.
It will be interesting to see what the difference is between the two plants.

Cheers,
WillieP
