Crocs are simply not to be messed with .
These Croc hunters be it Steve Irwin RIP or whoever to me have big balls .
The manner in which they dismember prey is terrifying as well .
The drowning the prey is the easy bit . The cork screwing limbs off as they roll is just sheer brutal . You’d wanna be goodnight Irene before that bit happens
Yeah the Catfish part I mentioned; They spin / death roll too, though some Catfish probably wouldn't need too as a Head Shake would probably accomplish the same thing:
Surprisingly that isn't even a record of any sort..... Locals say they can get over 10 feet long, and over 7 feet have been photographed. apparently an oil drum fit in it's mouth.
They also don't really like warm water (Some people keep those as Pets.... The water shouldn't get above 70 degrees as they don't like that) and there actually IS no maximum size on those as Fish have Indeterminate Growth which means they grow as long as they live, and I don't think there's even data on how long they live since they were rare to outsiders before River Monsters.
Now, I've seen someone lay out the dimensions of what a 10 foot Goonch would be like, and a grown man wouldn't stand a chance. the one Jeremy Wade caught was under 200 pounds.
Imagine that thing 10+ feet long, capable of eating a live Bull shark in a single bite..... I wouldn't swim with that LOL. Wallago either which India and Thailand also have. These Catfish are on that VERY small list of fish that are not only capable, but will eat humans whole.
Now, I have a baby Amazonian Red Tail, and they CAN get almost 6 feet though not likely in captivity, but in South America they eat kids meals from time to time. Piraiba from the same River are fully capable of eating a grown man though.
Wels Catfish are the other man eater; The current World Record isn't even big if you look at old German records where they were 16 feet long, and not rare to find people in their stomachs.
^ Piraiba
Wels Catfish!
The fine for getting caught with one in Michigan (Or the eggs....) is $10,000.00
That one I think is Po River in Italy, though it isn't anywhere near what has been reported. Recently I saw a video where a guy caught one, and inside the stomach was a nazi soldier. (The Eagle insignia is metal so it was still there and these fish can live over 80 years so not unlikely at all).
Imagine a fish that can gain 10 pounds a year, and live over 80 years. LOL yeah, I wouldn't swim in that water.
