It's funny, I still look at seed listings fairly often, but every time something grabs my eye I'm reminded of genes in the vault that haven't yet been sampled.

I have a bunch of Swazi Gold, as well as some mystery seeds from Nirvana that are almost certainly sativas, plus a few sativas that I've tried and enjoyed already. Until I've had a go at these, I'm good for racey stuff for a while. :)

In addition to the Purple Kush in veg now, there is still an OG Kush and the Bluebery Muffin and Romulan and probably other IBL's I'm forgetting, plus numerous F1's I bought and the various crosses I've made/am making.

Given that adding a new cultivar to the rotation takes me at least 4 months from seed to sample to know if I want to keep it around, I have projects to keep me busy for quite a while.

I just love this hobby soooooo much.:punkrocker:(y)

Woot you'll be smoking good in no time!
I'm really looking forward to seeing how she turns out. The C99 mom is a long time favorite and PSBC Blueberry males seem to provide strong genes. The yield is looking to be good but not massive, but that isn't a factor if the flower has the strength and effects I want.

The stash is still well stocked but I haven't harvested anything new since July. I've got 6 new strains and crosses in veg right now (3 of still unknown sex) and two are crosses I made that are coming down in the next two weeks so it's a fun time for me. Add in that the fall walleye bite is finally picking up and it's even better. :)

I don't know if it's an old seed thing, a sativa thing, or a Nirvana thing, but for the second time I'm seeing fasciation on a plant that meets the listed criteria. Thirty days in flower and two of the main colas on the Neville's Haze were double-wides. I chopped them off short and will keep an eye on the rest of the plant. It won't take much now for me to cull her. I've no desire to flower a plant for four months and have it turn out shitty.

Here's the tester after drying out for a day. Vaped some through both the Arizer Air and the Dynavap and the taste matches the smell, just fantastic. Found myself zoning out and staring at nothing for a while, and this was after I'd already been smoking other stuff , it wasn't first hit of the day.
Initial impression is extremely positive. Going to do the chop on Saturday or Sunday. I've got a few rooted clones so I can keep her around if she warrants.

Looks like the magnified one came through ok (a .png file) but in the next post the 2nd pic looks like it comes in normal and the 1st is distorted. Maybe its just the 1st pic of each series? Idk.

The time has arrived. Either today or tomorrow she gets the chop. Already took one of the main tops yesterday. Couldn't wait.

I'm still not a very good photographer. Never got a full plant shot that did her justice. Doesn't matter, until I can upload smells and tastes any reproduction is a poor facsimile. :)

Sampled a couple testers over the last day or so.
The C99xBB is as powerful as hoped. Still tastes green, but the sweet berry is there too. Going to leave it be until it's had a chance to cure for further evaluation. Very happy with every step so far though.

This AM I wake'n'baked with a tester of a White Widow x Northern Lights F1 from some seeds I made last year. I only had a couple hits out of the bowl and I am very, very stoned. If you were one of the people who I gave seeds to on the now defunct SnP board, expect some good medicine. The plant is a bit leafier than I prefer, but I was also lazy about defoliating, so not sure where blame lies there.

This one feels heavily on the indica side. Going to have to get a buddy of mine with pain/sleep issues to evaluate it a bit further. I'm always looking for something to help him, and when we dial in the strain or cut I'll always keep one of whatever it turns out to be in the tent.

Be safe, and I hope your week goes well.:stoned:

Awesome selection of classic strains! How's that Rom looking these days?
Thanks so much. Didn't recognize you for a second with your sexy new avatar. ;-)

I'm all about Old School in my garden. I always say with a good selection of classic IBLs, I have the starting genes for almost everything on the market today.

Romulan is coming along well. Per the breeder, I haven't topped as it is super squat and bushy without doing so. I've kept it in a small pot to conserve space but will be putting it in its final hempy in a week or so as I harvest some other plants. It'll get a few weeks to veg in the hempy and then I'll flip the light cycle and cross my fingers for a girl.
I've got a few cuts that should be rooting soon. I really want to get one of these females in the permanent rotation(another thing I like about stable IBL's: it usually is pretty simple to find a quality pheno).

Here's my newly rechristened Polar Berry on 31f. I only took the photo because of the trich coverage on the leaf stem.
This is an extra clone that I was fucking around with. Vegged for 5 days under one 10 watt 5000K SIL, switched to one 15w 3000K for the first 19 days after the flip. Got bored and bumped it to 60 watts after that.

The Neville's Haze is on day 71 of flower and looks like it is still stretching, ffs. As some other plants finish, I'm going to try and move some things around and finish it off in its own space with a 10/14 schedule.

I think I'm over trying to grow a 4+ month sativa in with the rest of the girls. Just too much of a hassle. I have a very leggy purple kush that was too far from the lights during the stretch due to the height required by the sativa, and now the Haze is top heavy and needing support so moving it around is a pain.

I still want to work with these strains, I just need to be better prepared.
