I’m going to test Ivermectin on spider mites one day. Cheep and it’s said to work well. May even purge my worms lol. And best of all it’s available on Canada.
Spinosad for the thrips if you can find it. Almost one and done. Second app just in case. The ivermectin would work here to.
These should only be used during veg, NOT flower.

Not sure why spinosad is bad during flower, but some states test for it.

What are you battling

Thrips initially, from the outdoor lay-overs.
Two spot mite riding the edge of a break-out. They haven't really established, but they won't disappear either.
New to me- , pretty little white flies.
Tiny, like a 1mm cabbage moth.
Look like a mosquitos stance, albeit bone white legs.

Spinosad for the thrips if you can find

Never, have I found.

Ivermectin

This, I actually have experience with. I have used it to treat camalanus worms in aquarium fish. Also Panacure, Levimasol and eventually, Phenbendazole ( sp?)
Peavey Mart carries it, as a paste.

Curious to find the lethal dose of dichotomous Earth, I have been thoroughly dusting for at least 10 days straight.
Mites seem to be going out their business, covered in De bling.

Moving forward, I am going to mix up a batch of wettable sulfur at 1.5 Gram per liter. In order to say, 'I have done my best', I plan on swiping each and every individual leaf in the room with a 1 inch painters brush. My 20-day waiting period willl be landing me in the first couple weeks of flower.
Formula420 and De, from there on.

F5s to force upon you 😃
Twist my rubber arm, flick my attentive nipples 😲 . I'm down.

That was my toughest cull, so far this round. I really wanted to hit that. Yet, I am only looking for one male.
If I hit a female pomegranate that turned out uncrackable seeds - that would be merely disappointing. If I were to hit the whole room and ended up with an entire batch of uncrackable seeds, that would be disastrous.

I have 4 males that I am eyeballing.
I will get some photos up, for consideration, when the lights come on.

any of mine

Some people just don't enjoy their own cooking, but, Dude,, you Mk Ultra is stellar. And now that I think about it, it would make a great cross with the pomegranate

Not that I don't want to pop something I've made, it's just I always push the beans I've bought ahead of them. I guess since I bought them, in my mind they're better. I did drop a couple of mine this round though so I'm hopeful they turn out.

I have never popped any MK Ultra f2s yet, except germination test. Guess those and the pinepom go to the top of the pop list!

I hear that. I follow that.
I fool myself ,every time.

Let us call it 'the restaurant experience'

Only after I arrive home do I realize, I could have prepared to tastier food, it would have happened faster, and it would have cost less.

, and I wouldn't have had to listen to all those shitty songs on the radio

K, just tune me out if you need to, I'm on a roll.

This is why our society was ill equipped to handle a pandemic.

All I am seeing is a washer with three screws tapped through it.

Honestly, it is getting to the point where you could give someone a bag of milled oats, and watch them starve to death.

1 gram wettable Sulphur: 1 Litre water= %100 whitefly knockdown.
Not one flier, 24 hours later.

No leaf damage at that concentration. I hit them again last night.
If the canopy can take the abuse I will go four treatments in a row.
I am hoping the physical barrier will dwell for a few weeks, which is the prescribed waiting period before I can begin the formula 420.

2x 400W MH is only holding 22C.
Some 'real' weather on the horizon.

1K HPS is primed and ready to fire.
We will be 100W/ sq foot, by the end of the week.

%95 sexed out.
Super heavy on girls.
Looks like about 50 are going to the big show.
5 males competing for the most eligible young Bachelor prize.

@Idlewilder , CandyMac is first past the post. She is thickening up faster than anyone else, and already pinking out.

My canopy dries in less than 1/2 hour, faster when the lights are on. I have been sneaking in there during the dark period 3x to spray sulfur. I stop today, after 3 days.
Foliage does not mind at all, I can see damage , however, in the pistil.
This is the quick-to-thick, CandyMac

She is the furthest long, and I can see it is not doing her any favours, so the spray stops today.

5 full weeks from soak everything is sexed. Most by the fourth, but that SourTangie always drags her feet.

Speaking of which, I only planted two Fems this round, and a Tangie cross is one of them.

She is the tallest girl in the room.

I can see their little lime faces smiling at me, these girls are raring to go.
I don't have an exact account, less than 50, more than 40.
20240109_000728.jpg

I was concerned about sprayng that much sulfur around. They seem to have taken it well.
For the record, I was dosing in 0.5 grams to 650 mL of water. (0.75 g\L) the foliage would seem to endure this dosage continuously. The only necrosis I am seeing is where the epidermis had been previously pierced. I will start incorporating this into my IPM, albeit on smaller plants. Seems to have no ill effect, on healthy plants. I really hope it is effective.
Little bit of droop from all of the precipitation, and the small pots. They do maintain their vigor, I should have them in church before sunday.

Males
Oh boy, I am weak!
I refuse to potentially contaminate my pollen linage. Multiple males makes for stray pollen, and I want to be sure of what I am making.
Trouble is, in a course of clever covert chronological conspiracy, they are maturing at different times !

I am catching gold from this SourBubble, and the other dudes aren't even ready to open up yet.

He is my choice male, but that Sourbubble started dribbling before I had the heart to cull it.

Two more dudes remain standing. This is smurfzilla flanked on each side by BlackRomulan×(@Phylex)Charastar

Yeah, is rough.
I would need a plane ticket to California to buy Spinosad at the Monterey gift shop.

Suffoil-X is only available in 2.5 gallon portions, in Canada. Makes it + $200 delivered.
Perhaps it is worth it. Not seeing the product backed up by much marketing. I am a dedicated follower of fashion, I need someone to hold my hand and tell me how white this will get my shirts.
The label claims it is 80% mineral oil and 20% you don't need to know.

My fault for honeymooning, while these were sprouting. This winter Perpetual thing is kicking my butt, I think those things were born with bugs on board.

Probably, I should stop complaining.
I am actively doing what I can, with what I got.
Plants will grow themselves, it is entirely my responsibility to provide the environment.

I don't have any remote modern monitoring equipment. Luckily, my garden is nearby and accessible. Truth be told, my timers are wonky, and my thermostats are janky ; constantly maintaining the light cycle, and surviving the upcoming Deep Freeze are my biggest obstacles.

still owe you $6.26

If that's all it takes to set things right between us, I will oblige.

We still use steam-rollers for lettermail, up here. I am afraid the vessels would burst like stomped ketchup packets.
That envelope could still stay slim if it was bolstered by pencils, or reusable drinking straws.

Also, would that product still be effective after a few freeze/melt cycles ?

they don’t ship these products 1 day , so I wouldn’t be too worried about it..still doesn’t mean u can’t try, also spinosad/conserve sc is limited per season ( think it’s 6 times). reason is for no gain pest resistance

Conserve SC has a shelf life of about 3-5 years from the date of purchase. They should be stored in a place where they are protected from over heating, freezing and direct sunlight to ensure the longest shelf life possible.”

If your environment is sealed (doesn't have to be perfect), hot shot no pest strips work great when in veg mode.
Pests can't hide from the vapor. It hits all the nooks & crannies.

I usually overdose with a couple of strips for 24 hrs, then seal in ziploc bag for 3 days to let any eggs hatch.
Put them out again for 24 hrs, then they go to long-term storage. Food saver bags work best, but a big ziploc is fine.
Try not to breath the vapor. It won't kill you, but it's definitely unhealthy.
That's why I don't just leave them out indefinitely...

Those are not legal in Canada.
Spinosad either.
