I never knew about Thunderbirds Are Go. I always thought of their name as a stylized version of Argot, which I still think works as well or better.
This song often gets stuck in my head while I tend the girls.
Maybe. Honestly not sure. I was baked like black cookies when I was posting last night LOL.
Speaking of Crazy Horses though:
!!!!
Didn't think what could be done?Wow, that's crazy! I didn't think it could be done.
Or rather, I didn't think it would be done. It's such an obscure song and its really not very good. Any cover would be an improvement in spite of my previous comments on coversDidn't think what could be done?
Ah, ok. I wasn't sure what you meant. They have other covers too.A Crazy Horses cover
Nice! Never really delved too much into the genre other than dipping the toes when I was younger. Used to have a few tapes of Hasil back when cassette's were a thing.
How'd that go?So I ate some mushrooms this weekend...
How'd that go?
Now that I have eliminated most of the stress from my life, I've considered zooming again.
It'd be interesting to see how I respond to the soundtrack of my youthful trips, the Diary of a Madman album, all
these years later.
I knew guys that would trip out in the bush, but that never really seemed wise to me. I'd either end up like Psychobilly and trying to pet a cougar, or else going the other way and hiding under a log for 4 hours from a squirrel.
They've been A LOT of fun! I was given a few ounces of them - Golden Teachers IIRC. Wifey & I had a blast on the beach; then took some & tripped around the neighborhood - can't wait till this weekend! How'd that go?

This one's for you @Psychobilly I'll start with the "small world" scenario that led up to this post.
In 1985 I was living with my friend Jim and his parents so I could finish high school where I'd began, in Anaheim. We were going through his mom's record collection, recording stuff to cassette to play in the boom box in the backseat of my VW. One of the records was this youtube video.
I was kind of getting into the Blasters and some of the local rockabilly bands so this record seemed aight.
Flash forward to 2010 and a bunch of us from a tech forum mutiny off to Facebook. One of us just happens to be the nephew of Jean, and the son of her brother Don. Boom?small world.
Wondering if you've ever heard of "The First Queen Of Rockabilly"? <---b4 Wanda, how the family addresses her.
