I never knew about Thunderbirds Are Go. I always thought of their name as a stylized version of Argot, which I still think works as well or better. :)

This song often gets stuck in my head while I tend the girls.

Apparently it depends on that name; I've heard some people say it was "Demon Teds Are go" in terms of why they used "Demented" as "Teds" are "Teddy Boys" in England, which means Rockabilly fans there. I've got a bunch of Psychobilly stuff and even when they are on a compilation, they still stand out LOL. Easily my favorite Psychobilly band ever. Sparky has vocals that I didn't quite understand how he pulled it off until I heard Tuvan Throat Singing, LOL.

So I ate some mushrooms this weekend...
How'd that go?

Now that I have eliminated most of the stress from my life, I've considered zooming again.
It'd be interesting to see how I respond to the soundtrack of my youthful trips, the Diary of a Madman album, all
these years later.

I knew guys that would trip out in the bush, but that never really seemed wise to me. I'd either end up like Psychobilly and trying to pet a cougar, or else going the other way and hiding under a log for 4 hours from a squirrel. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

They've been A LOT of fun! I was given a few ounces of them - Golden Teachers IIRC. Wifey & I had a blast on the beach; then took some & tripped around the neighborhood - can't wait till this weekend!

Come As You Are
This one's for you @Psychobilly I'll start with the "small world" scenario that led up to this post.

In 1985 I was living with my friend Jim and his parents so I could finish high school where I'd began, in Anaheim. We were going through his mom's record collection, recording stuff to cassette to play in the boom box in the backseat of my VW. One of the records was this youtube video.
I was kind of getting into the Blasters and some of the local rockabilly bands so this record seemed aight.

Flash forward to 2010 and a bunch of us from a tech forum mutiny off to Facebook. One of us just happens to be the nephew of Jean, and the son of her brother Don. Boom?small world.
Wondering if you've ever heard of "The First Queen Of Rockabilly"? <---b4 Wanda, how the family addresses her.

I tried posting a documentary from YouTube in the What are you watching thread, it's called "The Woman of Rockabilly" and it has the females who were there doing it before Elvis ever did :)

Great song by the way :) I DO love Wanda Jackson, but I know she wasn't the first one to go out and jam. Let's see if the video posts right for once LOL :
