The GDP on the right are next and very close so probably tomorrow.

8 weeks

They're ready to come down but I'm in no hurry. They're such beautiful plants. I'll no doubt replace those with all the clones I've got going.

No amber. I'm gonna move her out to the Stand to finish. Total sativa leaner in a GDP x GK's Ground Pounder cross, 2 hard core indicas. Never know what you'll get?

Just starting to get my sense of smell back but just barely and I'm burping these daily
20221210_161345.jpg
2 on the left are GDP, 2 on the right 2 Gorilla Hammer ?

I'm dying here! I want to fill my lungs with their smell and hold my breath while savoring what little I can of that scent. Couldn't be worse timing to have a head cold?

Hope you feel better soon bro

Many thanks? I don't feel "sick" any longer, just a bit of congestion. Smell and taste are just starting to return, barely.

I've got a few plants hanging and normally I'd walk into the garage and be hit in the face with that wonderful scent but not the past week plus. I know what it's supposed to smell like but for the most part it alludes me.

I'm just beginning to pick up a bit of the dank but just a little. Frustrating. This too shall pass... 6646f605d8bce63bc443d807b3625abb.jpg

I haven't even looked close at these yet. They're a beautiful purple ? and smell like grapes and berries. I'll probably take them down this weekend.

The upcoming GDP seed run
20221214_160447.jpg
I've topped #1&2 (rooting both) and need to do the others that are ready and will try rooting all cuttings.

20221214_160436.jpg
8 GDP clones in solos, 7 hemp in solos & 3 in 1/2 gal nursery pots, a Mother's Milk, Gorilla Hammer & BBHP in solos and a BBHP in 1/2 gal. All but the hemp are going to be crossed with the GDP. The hemp is quickly becoming my #1 obsession and I'll be cloning the ever lovin shit out of these plants?

Still have 6 GHammer clones
20221214_160514.jpg
I'll add another for breeding giving me 2 for seed making.

@Frimpong
20221215_131738.jpg
Rolled up a monster GHammer. Hit the spot?. Took me a half hour but well worth the effort. I still can't smell/taste right. Everything tastes the same but there was some serious dankness. Laying in bed now, I may nap? really enjoying this one.

Still picking tomatoes
20221213_174849.jpg
Mid December. Actually I've been picking them green and allowing them to ripen in a bucket with a piece of vine attached. Their rich flavor is amazing. I've never been able to keep tomatoes this long into fall and almost winter outside of a greenhouse.

This isn't true. I keep smoking it and still I have more?

This is GDP #3. Looks like it was nawed on. Rats. Checked my pet repeller and it needed replacement
20221216_161448.jpg
Had 2 new ones thankfully. I clipped her off and stuck her in the cup of water/cuttings in the seed/cloner. I'll try and save it.

Another problem has arisen

I looked for this bastard yesterday. Should have looked under the tray. I normally give the sm greenhouse 1 handful and the lg greenhouse 2+ handfuls of slug and snail bait first of the month but ran out and here we are mid December. Sm greenhouse too
20221216_143747.jpg
They took a GDP seedling (no big deal, I was planning on culling it) so to get through the night
20221216_160708.jpg
I put some old copper pipe and fittings around. Copper works but I'll pick up bait tomorrow cause the copper needs to be kept clean. I'm not into weekly cleaning copper not even on the truck?

I replaced all the lettuce nutrient water yesterday
20221214_144633.jpg
20221214_144646.jpg
and added nute water for the new seedlings
20221214_144640.jpg
4th planting, planting every 2 weeks until about April. We're about 2-3 weeks from our first harvest this season.

Crushed egg shells will deter them snails, also helps take care care of slugs and other soft bodied pests. It’s like walking on glass to them.??
As an added bonus, in 25 years or so, the egg shells will be calcium for the garden!…lol??
I've tried all of those diy slug/snail ideas and none worked except copper. A dozen cans buried with stale beer caught 1 snail. One. Egg shell didn't seem to do anything but I didn't make the pile very tall or thick. Cory's
corry-s-insect-killer-granules-100511427-64_600.jpg
works great at keeping slugs/snails from eating seedlings and stopping them from propagating but it does need to be refreshed monthly. Between the snails and rats I've lost literally hundreds of seedlings through the past few years?

Them slugs will walk over anything without giving a shit, lol. I use slug pellets outside but what really works if I have an issue with them is to put out some bone meal on a plate at night. Then go out at like midnight with a pair of scissors and a flashlight. A couple nights of that really reduces the population and also the damage. Bone meal was like ringing the dinner bell for them.

I had never heard of using bone meal to attract the bastards. Brilliant? I'm always careful with any insecticide. The snail bait is only used in the greenhouses and around seedlings in the garden which is rare as I wait until seedlings are bigger before going outside. I have a couple of snail species that eat the snails and/or the eggs of those that eat my plants and I don't want to lessen their numbers but my greenhouses are my territory and where I draw the line?

The first year I tried it my plants were being devasted by the bastiges. When I set out the small saucer of bone meal and went out to check.......there wasn't room for one more slug at the dish. It was completely ringed with them...chop..chop..they can't respply the troops that fast. Good thing it worked too because they could destroy a 4' plant in 2 days.

We have snails as.... I'd say pets, but they're actually more like a buffet for our fish that eat them. When we need to catch some we use a skewer and a piece of Shrimp, and once a bunch are on the Shrimp, you drop the whole thing in with the Fish that you are feeding and they uh, eat all of it.

But for a Garden I'd probably use an Algae "disc"; the food pellet things for Armored Catfish and Algae Eaters, as they probably would add some nutrients to the soil and of course, snails eat that too. They're also Cannibals so once you catch one snail, it's a lot like once you catch a Perch; Use pieces of the catch to catch the rest.

Escargot is loved by the Oscar, and, probably my Eclipse Catfish but I don't pop those in with him since he's got a tendency to simply kill thing going near his territory but not eat them. He's pretty ruthless sometimes.

Ya, I’m very Leary of anything that comes off the KILL FLOOR.
blood meal, bone meal, all that stuff can carry shit I don’t want near my plants.. feeding that to plants I consume isn’t anywhere near my priority list either.. just me, but its a hard NO for me.

But hey! Used as bait is something I hadn’t thought of!?

Hell, I eat shellfish and I'll try just about anything. I do draw the line with rats, opossum (hey, they look like rats) and gophers. Otherwise I've paid $10 for a plate of linguini and a dozen snails. Tasted like garlic and butter. Not good enough to continue to overpay for insects that I'd rather poison?

The irony of me eating them isn't overlooked?

today's the day they'll be hanging.

Nothing was touched in the sm greenhouse
