I never thought I'd see 60 let alone 63. Holy shit I'm old. Thought about fishing today but instead I ain't going do shit but play in the garden and smoke all day. Got that Funky Runt jarred and waiting. But first I need to spend about 30 minutes in my vibrating/heating anti gravity chair. I hate getting old. Like I and Igor always say, could be worse..
I missed this earlier. Happy 63rd!!!

Awesome Friday with a auto seed delivery
20211210_170931.jpg
that made my week! Many thanks to Frimpong!!!

Walking on air right now with the perfect strains to produce a few autos each and every month for the foreseeable future. Even planting every other month would produce plenty but to get to that point I'll need to produce seeds first.

I will be making fem seeds form at least 1 plant of each strain (several of the MF f3's)

Christmas auto seed soak party!

but I believe it was a Sharper Image special. Neighbor has a bad back but he's advanced to the larger more expensive models but this baby works for me, especially with my taco blanky?

I had one almost identical to that except it was 2 pieces, the chair/rocker and a detached foot stool that also vibrated. I liked it but a friend sat in it for 5 minutes and begged me to sell it to him for what I paid. Hell I didn't like it that much. But I need a new desk chair, and this time I want all the bells and whistles. Hi Amazon and your free returns - we could be busy. :)

20211211_073111.jpg
Walked the yard and greenhouses and everyone looks good, even the tomatoes
20211211_080819.jpg
and they hate the cold like I do.

While I'd really like to take this lady down
20211211_084605.jpg
Magnum Flames auto 112 days old.
She has a bit of PM like her siblings and I need to find something that's safe and works. She'll get sprayed again this weekend with Growers Ally fungicide then cut a cola on Monday to dry. I've got to spray my Sweet Peas again with all the wet weather this past week and might as well lightly spray all the plants as a preventative.
20211211_081403.jpg
She looks so healthy even with the PM, which I can't find any to take a pic of, and I may just let her go until she starts to fade naturally. I've had her on tap water, 7.0pH, 300ppm so she's been getting some calcium and minerals for the past 5 days after flushing with bottled water for 2 days.
20211211_084748.jpg
It's been so cold she's throwing a little purple into the mix?

Her brother
20211211_084902.jpg
a non-auto is a stud. I wish I had Chemgopher (Brutis OG male x Chemdawg female) growing to cross with him. I grew it winter 2019-2020 and it produced beautiful purple buds. I will be saving pollen.

He's throwing some color
20211211_084819.jpg
Brown's a color? but ya never know with the cold breaking down chlorophyll and allowing the anthocyanins to become dominant which gives weed a purple hue just how colorful they can become.

Looks like it's going to be a beautiful day. Sun is out and it's finally warming. I have my morning coffee and jay on the patio and today, burrr. It usually warms here by New Year's. You've all seen the Rose Parade with 80F, sunny skys and nighttime lows in the 60's. I've lived here 63 years and we've had mid February weather the past week and forecast calls for the same next week. For joy.

Their sister Funky Runts deformed spawn from self pollination.
20211211_092622.jpg
Ya don't see those everyday. The rest need to get hooked up to the system. I've been hand fertigating with quarter strength nutes, they're ready.
20211211_092653.jpg
So I've got a few things to play with in the garden today but no rush 20211211_100852.jpg
Still got coffee and that was my second jay of Chemgopher. I'm pretty toasted right now?

7 of 24 seeds 16 & 17 days. I assume the other seeds I collected

are now ready. I'll plant another dozen on Christmas. I'd be surprised if more don't pop now.

This gives me 12 autos I can whittle down to 3 or 5 females to harvest end of Feb into March. End of march will be harvest time for my Christmas seeds and so on.

It took these seeds 16-18 days to pop. I've never seen 2+ week germination on weed before. Weird.

So after transplanting my new baby I get out some plastic sheeting that my wife bought me to use on the little greenhouse - I think I'll keep her!
20211213_120329.jpg
and a neighbor from the condos next door stops by the fence and tells me he's been seeing a lot of bees at the back of our garage
20211213_121011.jpg
Sure nuff I got bees in the wall getting into a crack. Talked to a friend who said the bee guy sealed the opening when they had the same problem and cost $250. I got a couple cans of the sealant so after the rains in a few days I'll seal it up.

Little greenhouse is sealed
20211213_120737.jpg
I wrap it twice a year and the plastic lasts just long enough. Funny how that's been working since I built it 7 years ago. I still have to do the door and front upper portion
20211213_120324.jpg
Glad I didn't tear this down.

I'm thinking today is the day
20211214_034633.jpg
We'll have another week of wet/cold weather not above 60F so she can hang in the garage and very slowly dry. It's 4:30 in the morning so perfect time. I need to go out and medicate anyway.

Bought our Christmas tree yesterday
20211214_034129.jpg
Poor thing is in a half gallon pot. I'll take it out with me and transplant into a 2 gal and we'll bring it inside each year until it grows too big.

What's for dinner?
20211214_034056.jpg
Tacos. I bought 3 of these hunks of pork, smoked the first one then chopped it up and warmed it up in a jalapeno salsa.

Nasty weather today and not leaving the house. Gonna be one of those 4-5 joint days with 2 caps and as many bt's as I'm able to take?

20211214_051902.jpg
Poor thing was in a pint/liter pot and dry. Consider it a rescue, I sure do. Gonna be a beautiful tree. I bet in a few hours that top will be straight up. By tomorrow at the latest.

20211214_050219.jpg
Sad and excited at the same time and the garage once again smells like happiness.

Magnum Flames auto - Magnum auto x unknown Dragan Flames Genetics, one of their namesake 'Dragon' strains, accidental cross. 1st generation reported 30% autos. I grew 1 gen in soil, 10 autos 1 reg. 2nd gen in coco, 10 autos 1 reg. This was pheno #2, a beautiful virgin female topped once. Chopped on day 116. Far too long for an auto but I have watched it improve over the past week.

Pheno #1 was seeded and finished about 2 weeks ago and will be my foundation of this new strain:

Magnum Flames auto

I'm currently running my F3's
20211214_053604.jpg
A couple more generations to strengthen that #1 pheno and set this as an auto strain at 90+/- days.

While it's not the frostyist plant

MagnifierPlus_IMG_20211127_124040.jpg what frost there is kicks my butt and I have a very high tolerance. When dried and broken up the trichs feel like sand. Then there's the nasty/sweet smell. Dirty kitchen sink dishrag is what it smells like to me but then there's this sweet that envelops it and makes it deliciously desirable. Crazy and I've never grown anything like it so might as well work it and keep selecting the quickest to mature with all that nasty sweet.

This was my introduction to autos and it's been a blast to work with strains that I can breed 3-4x's a year. For me that's huge.

New real autos from Freaky G are on deck. Can't wait!

Italian Stone Pine. Never had one. They can grow to 80'. I got the perfect spot for it at a South/East fence and the only spot you can see into our back yard from the condos. Until it outgrows its pot it will serve as our Christmas tree. Merry Christmas Charlie Brown.

The storm hit pretty hard

20211215_090215.jpg
These were the worst. Besides these the MF male fell. Nothing broke and they'll all be themselves in a few hours.

I didn't make it up to the greenhouses yesterday, rain was coming down sideways. Today it's sunny and cold.

Keep in mind this is sunny so cal, anything under 70F is C.O.L.D!

To seriously produce a monthly harvest of autos I need more room
20211216_160656.jpg
This is a 30" washing machine overflow catch. Client didn't want it. Since the truck will be in the shop overnight I get at least a half day tomorrow to play in the garden. Gotta run a drainline and extend the 5/8" drip line hose and run the 1/4" lines. I'll see how many 1/2 gal pots I can fit in.

I moved the seeds into the garage with the reptile rock and covered the whole thing with a couple of beach towels. I'll put them into coco peat tomorrow. With those 20 seeds and another couple dozen auto seeds getting soaked Christmas I need more room. I do have a 3' shower that was cut in half I'll seal and use on the lower south side for moms, eventually.

Got another Magnum Flames auto from 11/25 planting

Day 4
20211217_144616.jpg
and feels like day 2. Warm and dry today and high about 70. Currently 66 and sunny. I'll take the fan leaves off this weekend if I get a chance. Drying perfectly. 2 more days just like this would be good but cold and wet again next week. We're supposed to be having a la Nina this year which means DRYER than average.

These little Gherry's are frosty
