Reversing AlienOG

I just finished up reversing my Citrus Milf keeper. Every chuck I've made with this has completely hogged out.
This time I also made a substantial batch of S1, and stored several vials of reversed pollen.
Nice! I'm hoping for a substantial batch of S1 and reversed pollen also?

And, on that note... Here she is with the other targeted cutting in the solo down low that just got her second application last night.

Instead of hacking the bigger ones in half I used some lst clips to bring them down to match the rest of the canopy level

Time to get bent!

Gonna have to find her a new home here soon... I've got my eyes set on the closet which should be getting cleared out over the next few days. She'll be dropping the goods real soon!

Looks like balls are about to start dropping!

Still early/mid flower but I see some of the earlier females parts looking impregnated/holding seed. So, got at least a few S1s in the bag off original mama to check out later..clones on standby. Gonna start stripping the larger fan leaves in attempt to make pollen collection a lil easier.

Small tent/cuts got flipped to 12/12 the other night. Started to outgrow the space/run into the lights

Moved lights to they're highest setting... No more headroom left. Gonna have to start bending some more here shortly?

Yeah, she look a lil fonky! ... But...? She just it here tryna function!?

There are some pods that I've inspected. There's a few that seem to have dropped prematurely but those ones appear to be strerile/ no signs of love dust. There are others hanging on longer, one of which I plucked myself to take a look inside, that have that magic inside!

I've been working on getting her watered adequately and I think I'm finally there... Been going a bit heavy but she seems to just take it with lil to no runoff or fuss, so I've just been giving it to her... But I'm sure it's time to back off and observe now. I just gave her some terp tea bloom for a lil extra boost to help her get across the finish line. I'll leave her alone and come back in a couple days or so and see where we're at?

Do I need to pull the pods off to try and milk some pollen out or will it fly like a normal male?
I have been doing that, milking, as an insurance policy the past couple of days. It will fly, but definitely not like a normal male. I've been shaking, and flicking it...?...hmmm... that one usually works..?...but hardly noticed anything flying even doing so. Seemed to notice more fly from the milking than the smacking around. (But, now thinking about it, we're both still early in the dropping/maturity stage. They should be dropping more freely over the next couple weeks or so and untill their done?)

Whereas, I have a WatermelonDelight, a true, stud muffin in the bathroom right now that is fucking dumping like crazy! I was gonna mulch him up when he showed, but kept him around for shits n giggles... He's been getting the cold shoulder treatment all the while...and I'm glad I kept him around! Cause he's impressing me. The isolation, cold and less frequent waterings, and extremely low light levels, and he is still just beasting out without a care or worry in the world??

A simple tap...er, flick!?...of any branch, no matter how hard or soft, and there's a noticable cloud that flys. These more mature pods that are getting the most light (hard to tell from pic, but they) are getting pHat and throwing purple streaking. Gonna collect more til he's done giving so I get the whole entire range of maturity in the pollen.

Sorry, got sidetracked there...

Will our reversals pollen fly like a normal male. No, but it will fly a lil better over the next few weeks as they mature?

Ive found with most of my reversals that I have to "persuade" the pollen out from the pods vs when I have a natural male that just dumps at the slightest mention of the word pollen.
I'll pluck the opened pods carefully with some tweezers and collect them to dry on foil for about 2-3 days in a room with low humidity and no fans. Once dried I'll either rough them up over a small makeshift screen with looseleaf paper under it and collect the pollen or crush em in a pill bottle and seperate the pollen from the plant material. Dont bother trying to persuade/collect anything until its dried out. Moisture is the enemy of pollen.

This is a great idea for a thread. I'm happily harvesting seeds right now from a successful Lemon Tree reversal, and looks like I;m just a few days from getting some reversed pollen from a sweet Black Mamba clone, and have Purple Banana Cake a week into getting sprayed. I had a bunch of failed attempts and finally gave up on Banana Punchsicle, so I'm too familiar with failure.

My point ... sorry ..... is that making fem seeds, for me at least, is stressful. Whether using STS or CS, the receiver always looks like hell after a few days, and I generally assume the worst until those pollen bumps finally start appearing - despair replaced by a ray of optimism. I'd never document an attempt, so hats off to ya Mo.

First question: did you spray the entire plant, or just the grow tips? Are you targeting a particular time to spray, like just before lights out? Go get 'em, amigo !

Edit - the strikethru curse gets me again !
Nicely said, Amos. Like your style.

Here's 2 Black Mamba clones that have been getting sprayed w. CS for about 3 weeks. Sisters, and while both were damaged, one is only slightly damaged and has developed what looks will be usable dust in a few days. The other took it harder, and though some nice sacs formed down under, the plant is mostly trashed. Same clones, same regimen - can't explain the results, but will most always use multiple spray receivers going forward to increase odds for success.

The two:

The successful one, probably:

The not so good one, mostly fried:

I’m not sure I could deal with the pain of looking at them. That has to be culled, the sight.

As Mo mentions about the CS or STS, the light will degrade the Silver in the mix pretty quickly. I mention spraying right before lights out for a couple reasons (that are mentioned already but I'll elaborate further):

1: Silver will degrade in light. The lighting in your spot is much more intense than just regular room lighting or daylight so you can imagine how hard that light is working on degrading your Silver real quick whether it be CS or STS applications. Strong silver content = good ethylene blockage.

2: The water droplets on your plant work like little magnifying glasses cooking the plant material under the droplets which can burn spots and crisp up a plant pretty quickly. Plus the stomata on your leaves are open when the lights are on and if they are wet, they block the offputting of Co2 gasses & moisture that are released when the plants stomata are open when under light. In short, it just interrupts the natural workings of your plant and how it "breathes". When done at lights off, it greatly reduces a lot of this.

If you find that my STS kit is cooking your plant even if you are following the listed suggestions, simply add more water to it for your next spray. Not every plant will react the same to the same mix of spray. Its really no different than figuring out how a plant feeds differently than others plants do from the same soup. You just gotta make some adjustments on the fly sometimes from plant to plant.
Nice additional info.
