I still have lots of things to improve on in the grow (and the all around) department...nobody's ever done learning... But progression is key ?

Oh man some aphid free Alien OG. Never thought i’d see the day ??:dancingchicken:
Hey Athena! Nice to see ya around ? Aphid free, yes, but mite free, honestly and unfortunately, no. Both my ipm, Plant Therapy....and bug defense, predator mites...I ordered... Both were delayed and I encountered more damage than expected.

if you look closer at the leaves, you'll see what I'm talking about... I'm very not used to bugs in my grow until recently... But It sucks nuts hard!

I’ve been dealing with the same thing so I know how you’re feeling. Yours don’t look as bad as mine did though so hopefully you have luck with the sprays and bugs. I’ve wiped down my tents, lights, fans, and pots and everything else so many times but I keep seeing them. It’s a bit tiring

With those seeds though now you can grow them mite free in the future ?

I know you've been going through it too...it gets very tiring to see them keep popping up. But, luckily, this time it's just regular spider mites, not russets like before...man what a nightmare that was!?

But I'm gonna take care of these guys? I have my ipm lineup, mostly... Predator mites are due here Thursday. Gonna spray and scrub everything down before releasing. Grabbed some new heating pads with temp controllers to help the GG and SourD cuts get moving. Got soil cooking and I just grabbed some fresh fabric pots for next round. The AlienOG S1 beans are cooking and backups are healthy. I'm not in the clear just yet, but things are starting to look up...I can smell the victory already!?

I got russet mites at harvest time last year and the only thing that worked was spraying with sulfur. I even sprayed them a couple weeks into flower and as long as I rinsed them off in the morning didn't have any burning. Those mites really sapped my mojo last year. Sulfur is nice and cheap also. One ounce per gallon.

Ya, they wrecked me pretty good last year. Killed and ruined a whole tent of crosses I was working on. Then took out a few plants or so from the following run. It took probly 8+ months or so to shake em. The russets actually came from the mother, err grandmother, of this here very cut... It's been nearly a year now since I originally received it.

So, being that it caused me so much grief, and costed me a essentially a whole lineup of crosses that I was looking forward to looking through and sharing. I was very determined to get her clean and do this reversal project. I didn't use sulfur, never have. But it took a lot of LC Plant Therapy, Castile soaps, DE, Neem seed meal, and insect frass to get the job done. Nearly lost her a couple times along the way, but finally managed to get her to where she is today...and now she gets hit with 2 spotted spider mites?

Hopefully I can get this bug ordeal ironed out soon so I don't have to worry about it anymore. Predator mites came in yesterday and were immediately applied. Hopefully they get to work quickly? Then, as soon as everything comes down, which should happen over the next couple of weeks or so, I'm gonna scrub and sanitize everything and I'm adding Grandevo and Venerate to the ipm per suggestion by @BH...I look forward to never seeing any of these bastards ever again!

... Sorry... Rant over?

Here's some mushrooms!

Gonna harvest these tonight. Neither my daughter, nor I, are big on actually eating mushrooms as of yet anyway... I mean we'll eat em if they already come on something like a combination pizza or something similar, but we don't ask for or order them personally. So, they will likely just get composted in my soil bin I have cooking. Also gonna try to redunk it to see if I can get another flush. Not gonna eat em but my plants sure will enjoy them! ?

You better eat those motherfuckers lol. Sauté them in some butter with garlic. Better than a steak
