I hope it is a she and she is amazing.
It seems like the fkrs reach a certain point of no return! Im battling them too. I hate messing with the plants in flower and hit the veg harder. I am going to do a neem BTI combo now. Too hot to order nematodes around here. You get one little nanner and they pollinate your shit lol.View attachment 71363 Yeah, the gnats are still a problem in the 4x4....
Haha all good, wasn't that far back. There is definitely too much good content around here to keep up.I wish I could sit and read through all the threads. I replied to an old post lol. Have you found anything that is affordable and effective on your gnats?
I hope neem is the trick. I just started using it. It stinks to high hell lol. It works well for anything that sucks sap or eating on the plant. I hope to eventually try making my own creations like you guys do. Might have to wait till retirement.Haha all good, wasn't that far back. The nematodes worked great when I mixed them when repotting but watering them in/top dressing hasn't been very effective. Did kill the root aphids completely though!
Other than that I've just been letting the pots get really dry between watering and its gotten better but they're still around. Think I'm gonna get some playground sand for the top of the pots going forward. I hate DE, it works but it's so messy.
Still haven't found a natural or organic soil drench that actually seems effective.
Honestly sometimes I think it's just luck on the intersex plants man. I didn't see a single one for years then all of a sudden I can't get away from them!Bummer you didn't throw them out last fall. Ironically, the best damn plants I have outside are volunteers I told my girl to toss last year.
They were strays on the tray from last year's chucking adventures, so I know the daddy is Skunky VA x Skunky VD, but not which momma bag they came from.
They're now the youngest, healthiest, and largest plants out there, despite aphid residence, and other problems they just seem to shrug off. They're taller than me, and the most even green I've had lately by far, and are basically just growing in a pile of rabbit shit, though I'm sure their roots are plenty deep in the soil by now.
I'm convinced now that mother earth is laughing at me, kicking me in the ass, and teaching me to just trust her.
All these clones in a cheap pre-bagged mix, and coco, and mega crop at 6g/g, and they're looking all hungry still, and the unknown volunteers are thriving...
So, lesson learned... Plants go in natural ground, early, for best results next time. Gotta trust mama to do her thing lol
On another note, regarding Hermie's...
... Honestly, I probably don't want this answer, but...
... How the hell do so many people seem to get them, when their gardens seem to be in such better shape than mine??
I swear, I regularly, unintentionally, throw more stress at my plants than anyone I know, but thankfully, have avoided herms for the most part, even growing some of the most herm-prone stuff out there.
I've regularly left the center zipper on the tent open all day, bugs are a constant threat, I've let them dry out when the res gets low before I noticed, flower in shoes too small... Damn near everything we learn not to do... Yet, I've been extremely lucky to generally find no seeds.
So, I guess I'm a little perplexed as to how I get so lucky missing intersex threats.
I'm definitely not bragging though. I'd take a few seeds to finish my plants as nice looking as everyone else here. Mine usually come down a little early, and miss the mark by just thaaat much lol
Anyway, sorry for the novel, but keep up the good work man!
Yours still come out better than mine, even with the surprise beans!
I should start a Tshirt line called "Hermies Happen" as a matter of fact I've had seeds in every grow except my 1st one and no matter how hard I try, as long as I have these fkn gnats all its going to take is a couple late nannerz to pregnate the new additions. I hade a 2 Stroke Lemonade from 7east royally dick me. Every branch had nannerz tuckbehind like the plant strategically hid them in an attempt at natural selection n I've never in my whole 1 year of growing seen such trickery. LolBummer you didn't throw them out last fall. Ironically, the best damn plants I have outside are volunteers I told my girl to toss last year.

Hey get used to it , it's getting worse and worse unfortunately. Smh. At this point just be diligentI should start a Tshirt line called "Hermies Happen" as a matter of fact I've had seeds in every grow except my 1st one and no matter how hard I try, as long as I have these fkn gnats all its going to take is a couple late nannerz to pregnate the new additions. I had to literally pull a lower nug away from the stem to reveal the namners. I was actually impressed at how well she hid them. I was TRYING to be diligent because previous crop was seeded lol but it's all a learning curve.Hey get used to it , it's getting worse and worse unfortunately. Smh. At this point just be diligent
Yes Sir you're right it's not going to get better anytime soon..Hey get used to it , it's getting worse and worse unfortunately. Smh. At this point just be diligent
