My mom is the OG Greenthumb. She can grow and salvage
anything from the tiniest of growth. The one thing that she doesn't grow is Cannabis, because of the negative stigma that she's seen over the years with all of the 1980's Say NO To Drugs (D.A.R.E.) campaigns. Well, I can certainly fill that void
Her entire garden, which spreads all over the front and back yard, is absolutely gorgeous, especially during bloom time. I visited her today and here are a couple of pics. I will try to grab more when I can.
This is "Canna [Indica]". Funny, the main plant that stuck out to me due to the structure and "groovy" veins has a name that is closest to our beloved plant. I guess you eat the roots of these? This is just a tiny sample of her garden, she has stuff all over the place. It's not chaotic by any means. It's like a "nature takes its course, within guidance boundaries" type of garden. One of the main aspects of her gardening is that it's 100% Organic (she doesn't buy or use any nutes, pesticides, anything). She has some really nice heirloom tomatoes plumping up, I should grab a pic of those next time.
She said this is Tiger Lily. It's common, but man it's still so pretty in bloom.
