FUCK JIFFY PLUGS! I just have the worst luck with them. I was desperate and have a few boxes from when I first started growing so I decided to use them and damn near every one of my seedling grew weird af.. the roots pushed the whole seedling out of the plugs and I had fish bone roots just hanging out of the tops of the plugs and each seedling was laying over on its side.. I wish I’d of taken a pic but I was just so distraught I hurriedly broke the plugs in half and stuffed the stem and roots down further. Only one broke out of 12 so I’d say that’s a plus. From now on I’m just using my own soil and the easy push planters from the grow store. That shit was so stupid and just unnecessary..

The furthest one on the right, close to the numbers is the Quad. Idt all 4 will pop but looks like a couple might creep on out of there.

I finally got around to running my first crosses made with the Don Johnson F1 (I realized I put F2 in the beginning of this journal but that isn’t right) and I am so fucking stoked!

We had a little mis hap early on with my PH. My pen was reading that my tap water was 9.8ph and I was adding 20ml of PH down (General Hydro) per gallon which I knew was way too much but they just fixed our water where I’m at so I was being naive. So after about a week I saw the deficiencies and lock outs start. I was also receiving some clones, so I went and got a nice Blue labs pen and now my tap reads 7.5 and I tested one of the gallons I made that was still left and it was 1.8ph I almost fried them. I couldn’t believe how dumb I was being and that I thought it must of been my RH or my light intensity….so stupid to not check my ph was off. And to think the only reason I went and got a new pen and some other supplies was because I was receiving some clones and wanted to make sure everything was spot on.

But even through all that they are doing ok and pushing through since I got the situation remedied.

Out of the 5 crosses I made I decided to run Fist Wizard F1, Oh Yeah! f1, and Sally’s Breath F1

Fist Wizard F1 is Solfire’s Mindflayer F1 (female) Crossed with Freaks Don Johnson F1 (male)

Oh Yeah! F1 is Freaks Cherry Kool aid F1(female) fr crossed to Freaks Don Jonson F1 (male)

Sally’s Breath F1 is Growing Highers Sour Diesel x Mendo Breath (femal) crossed to Freaks Don Johnson (male)

Each of the moms I grew out and really checked a lot of the boxes. I also tried to pick some moms that were quite vigorous seeing as how Don Johnson is a more short and bushy plant. I’m gonna do a full write up on each mom I use from here on out.

I’m gonna try and update this journal weekly. Right now I’m on week 3 from sprout.

All of the plants got very wilted and started clawing, shriveling the when they finally flowered every pistils was brown and they looked awful. So I killed them all and will test run them in the spring time. Since culling all the sick plants, scrubbing the tent down and running some new stuff everything’s been on point!

Dudes… I feel this so much! It was devastating. I have to say that’s the very first time I ever had to do that and the dude was thorough and sent me extra clones. Great guy but it was already in the works and I couldn’t save them. Fml so here’s to the current run doing what we want it to do! CHEERS!

While resetting the tents I did a quick autoflower chuck. I wanted some male auto pollen because I’m not to fond on the whole chemical reversal with animals and Lil’s in the homestead. So I finally got my hands on some m/f auto seeds thanks to the Tony Green Tortured Beans GG4 RIL auto. I popped like 12 of these and found 5 males 2 of which I kept to get pollen from. The females I just kept as edible/tincture stock.

GG4 RIL #1 was an EXTEMELY fast flowering plant. Dropping all of his pollen by day 50 and I mean all every damn pod opened by 47-50 days from sprout.

Then I used another GG4 RIL auto #2 male that fully flowered at and finished dropping at day 68. This male was gorgeous! Very solid dense sacks, a touch of trichome coverage and it flowered out 3rd of all 5.

I hit 4x separate fem only strains by my favorite auto breeders each female getting the bottom branches hit with GG4 RIL auto #1 and the mains being hit with GG4 RIL auto # 2.

she was the fastest flowering auto I’ve run so far finishing under 60 days, super strong gas/fuel terps with an earthy back end and a smidget of citrus. Very frosty and heavy on the yield for the time it took run her.

Dark mfing purple flowers, very very dirty/earthy nose, finished at day 75 medium yielded, I’d say moderately frosty. I mainly hit this one to see if I could improve on the yield and see if I could get a mold resistant auto strain going.

This one is something else!! Incredible Candy, tropical fruit terps with a hint of earth and pine. Very resinous, moderate yielder, most of all EXCELLENT structure and finished by day 73 from sprout. She had the 2nd most dense buds out of all the females. Very excited to see what came of this cross.
