Smoked some chicken quarters today. Meant to take finished pics of the whole meal, but I had a lot going on today. I'll do better next time lol.

Fresh black eyed peas are delicious! I have no use for them dried other than to replant. Fresh is quite a treat. This batch, I cooked with italian sausage. It's really supposed to be made with smoked necks. They take a while tho,,,,,,,,,,,,sausage is fast. That said.........the next batch will be w/necks. lol.......fresh .beans cook very fast and are really, really good.

Loaded big ass tacos tonight. We eat a lot of mexican food and I thought I would switch it up a little tonight, damn good shtuff. Homemade tortillas from the carneceria, homemade queso from me. Seasoned hamburger meat with some green chili's, pickled peppers that I canned a couple years ago, I put them on everything lol, and some fresh sliced avocado. Yum yum ?

Damn all you sonsabitches! I was all happy to post tonight's dinner pics, and you've got me hungry for dinner-sert!

For what it's worth, which isn't much now, thanks to you, here's some slow cooked New York strip steaks, with potatoes, onions, yellow bell, and Hungarian yellow wax peppers, and seasoning. First time trying steak in the slow cooker, and it was tasty.

We also had a cucumber, tomato salad for healthiness, but hell, you guys already ruined my memories of the meal with your latest tastiness lol

Oh, it was delicious, but I'm always a sucker for some good Mexican! We actually made chimichangas the next night or two, and they hit the spot!
Last night we made an Italian sausage pasta, which I didn't get a pic of, but I made these Hungarian wax peppers on the side, stuffed with sausage, onion, cheese, and wrapped in bacon, which I did get a pic of, before we devoured them all.
