Hey Gang,
The Chosen Mango are on track. I want to get them a chance to get used to the 7-gallon bags they are in and then I will lollypop under their skirts.
I will want to see them recover from that and then it's off to flower. When the time comes, I would like to harvest one and then wait 2 weeks before harvesting the other.
I have the means of having them tested and I am interested to see the differences in the cannabinoid profile.
I checked the two clones I took from them, and both have rooted. I don't really need the clones, just wanted to practice cloning.

The Blackberry Bread have grown out of the funk caused by my humidity error and look great as well. I just topped all three today.

The Gelato Auto is chugging along. So far, so good.

The Pink Lotus has been a challenge, all brought on by me.
I reached out for help in another thread here:

Giving her a foliar spray of Cal-Mag, upped the Cal-Mag in the nutrient/water mix, and lowered the PH, along with switching to flower nutes with more K in them.
This plant is sort of a right off, it's just I hate to fail.
This one will go to edibles or hash anyway.
If I like the effects, I have more seeds and can try again, hopefully with better results.
Life is a learning process...
Cheers,
WillieP
Hope everything finishes up up nicely man . I had a rough go myself last month or so . But snapping out of it finally.

Bookkeeping Note:
Of the three Blackberry Bread seedlings, two have shown female and one was male.
Male met the AX. ?
The two girls look wonderful.
After up potting the Chosen Mango's to 7-gallon fiber grow bags awhile back, they seem to be having a little trouble.
Leaf tips seem to be drooping like they are underwatered, but I suspect that the soil I used is too dense and they are overwatered instead.
Really difficult not to water when they look like that, but I'm trying to let them dry out.
I'll see if I can get some pics up tomorrow.
I had taken two clones of the CM, one started to root and then stalled out. (Tossed it) The other looks great and it was just up potted today.
I don't really need another one, but I like to practice cloning and hope to find a home for it.
The little Gelato Auto is still on track.
And the Pink Lotus is just starting to show signs of flowering. (And is still a F'd up mess)
(I am so close to shit canning that thing and starting a new one...)
I may up pot it, or I may chop it down... So Frustrating!!
That's all for now.
Cheers,
WillieP

Well Kids,
The Pink Lotus has seen her last sunrise!
My cannabis hobby is as much, if not more, about the gardening than it is about the usage.
That plant was sucking the joy out of my garden.
So, she had to go.
It was never going to amount to anything much, and as I've said, I have more seeds.
I'll post pics tomorrow.
Cheers,
WillieP

So, it turns out I had the time to post these pics tonight.

This is the Gelato Auto seedling doing its thing...

There is the Chosen Mango clone that I mentioned...

These are the two larger Chosen Mango. I took these pics right before I watered them.
I mentioned that I thought they were overwatered, now I'm not so sure.
I was going by the weight of the container, and I may just be judging that incorrectly.
I saw the leaves drooping and intentionally waited 24 hours to see if they improved or got worse.
They got worse, so I watered. I will check tomorrow to see if they improve or not. Stay tuned...

This is the Pink Lotus I mentioned. (May she rest in peace).
Poor thing... Hormones were screwy, may have been rootbound, may have been locked out...ect...ect...ect.

That raises a thought.
Maybe I need to back off the nutrients a bit. I’ve never experienced that effect before, just burnt leaf tips.
I did notice that they seemed a really deep green, like N was to high. I have been mixing in some plain water “waterings” in also.
I’m hopeful to be able to do them justice.
Thanks for your help.

What I'm here for brother, want you to crush every grow ?

So, my current theory is that the Chosen Mango's were indeed to dry.
I did a normal feed/water on them, as I mentioned and the did indeed perk up.
Not nearly as sad and droopy. (That's a good thing)
Still have that downward claw to the leaf tips, but I plan to back off the nutrient strength as @Frimpong suggested to see if that helps.
Fingers crossed. ?

The other smaller plant are, so far, happy and healthy.
The Blackberry Bread plants have me especially excited. They look great.

Cheers All,

As I mentioned, I would like to flip the Chosen Mangos this weekend.
I am a DIY type a guy and enjoy that side of this hobby.
My tents are 5x5's and I built a 2x4 LED strip light, with the intent to build a second one identical to the first.
But...
With the plant count restrictions that I have I will never be able to run that flower tent full, so I am going with Plan B.
I'm just going to double up the amount of strip on the original light.
2 times the ☀️!!
I used to SCROG, and only used lights from above, but now I am in soil and grow bags with no netting.
The last grow I used side lighting and thought that improved all the lower stuff.
I will do some re-arranging and see what I come up with that I like.
Time will tell...

Cheers,
WillieP

Well, I finished up the light.
I do like it much better, but I will say that I would not want it to be my only source of light in the tent.
The plus side of this type of light is that it produces a totally even output. Zero hotspots.
The negative side is that the output isn't strong enough.
I guess that is what the added side lighting is for.
With the whole shoo bang fired up I'm getting between 50K - 70K lumens, depending on where I measure.
The 4 fixtures that I am using total 1130 watts, and I am lighting a 2 x4 growing area in a 5 x 5 tent.
(Not counting the UV T5 that is in there also)

Anyway, I moved the Chosen Mangos into the flower tent after re-arranging the lighting.
I decided to wait till tomorrow to water/feed them.
(Sorry about the Plurple pics, just wanted to show what was being used.)

IMG_9808.JPG IMG_9809.JPG

So, now the Veg tent just has the two BBBreads and the Gelato Auto, plus the Chosen Mango clone that I am about to give away.

IMG_9804.JPG IMG_9805.JPG IMG_9806.JPG IMG_9807.JPG

And now I am done playing in the garden for today.

Today the plants in Veg all got up-potted.

IMG_9816.JPG

The BBBreads to 2 gallon fabric transplantable bags. I will let them fill those out before putting them in 7 gallons bags to flower in.

The Gelato Auto is starting to show off her girl parts. (Fem seed)

Everybody looking happy and healthy at the moment. ?

The big girl Chosen Mangos were pretty droopy this morning.
The call to wait till today to water them was the wrong one.
I used a different soil mix on them, and I'm having a hell of a time judging when to water them, when going by the weight of the pots.
Live and Learn.

The three Wedding Cake seeds are all showing signs of germination.
Currently still have them in moist paper towels.
May move them to root riots tomorrow, we'll see.

Cheers All,
WillieP

Thanks for the kind words, Frimpong.
So far, so good.
Really happy with the BBBreads.
They are just doing their thing. They look super healthy and have caused me no trouble at all.
I do have a question.
I have noticed a leaf twist on them, and I would assume this is genetic.
Have you seen this before?
Is that on all of them, or is that a pheno thing?
Thanks for your help, and the seeds of course!!
Cheers,
WillieP

Yep the little twist is common. Probably 1/4 phenos or so had it . Looking great man ?
