I see pollen! Only second time trying to save pollen. Look like the paper might have picked up a bit of moisture. Thinking I should keep this pollen separate from any I shake off. Any tips are appreciated. Not really sure the approach I want to take.

You could use tin foil? That's awesome! All those sacks are filled. There's plenty more in there

Pizza n Beers (GMOxStella Blue)- long ways to go. This one’s going to be tested on its cold hardiness. At least a month to go. Wonder if she’ll go into November?

I ran GMO bagseed this past season, and yeah, I was pretty nervous about her finishing in time outside here. She did finish, but yeah I think it was November before I started pulling her.

The cold temps were fine; The Humidity was the main issue. I lost a few branches to mold. The cold just made her pretty though.

Took this blueberries n bananas home today. Always feels good to get them home.

Also cut a Love F2, nothing special to look at but she emits quite the odor. A small citrus milf and on of my crosses a bubblegum x moneyshot that didn’t turn out well both got the chop too. Buds turned out funny looking on the bubblegum cross. I’ll get a pic tomorrow.

Kinda wish I’d have pulled more as it poured rain and hail shortly after I got home. Might be 50f out

All these plants are decent plants but by the looks of them they’re going to be all seed. That pizza n beers came on so late these were already well into flower. Pulled one pod off and they’re still green. Not sure how much longer but got to leave them out till the seeds are done.

Don't worry bro; Pizza and Beer has lead to plenty of breeding around these parts LOL.
I have no doubt.

Just wish I’d have harvested it before it started doing its thing. That way I could have selected where I wanted pollen instead of what I have now, plants chocked full. That watermelon haze is a really good plant. I didn’t do anything to it and it’s still a nice plant. I only watered it once when I planted it. It’s 6ft tall with pretty fat buds. Same with the blueberry hp cross. Both were the only females of those strains. so not sure I’ll even be able to have anything to smoke out of those plants.

Have another group of plants 15 paces away that don’t look seeded but I wouldn’t be surprised to find a few there also. Another group 30 paces away doesn’t have seeds.

Well that’s what I get for not spending the time taking care of them. Just had too much going on. Plus I just can’t handle the rush of it all, getting too old. I can legally have 24 plants. 12 on 2 properties that are side by side. No reason I can’t sneak a few back in the swamp too. Grew 12 this year and have 9 female plants that are sensemilla. Pretty satisfied but can do much better next year after getting the feel.

No more public land growing for me. Too many reason why to list. Went out today thinking I was going to take some home but forgot my scope and everything looked suprisenly good, still getting frostier. It’s been terribly windy cold and rainy with some more hail. As you all know a terrible combo toward the end of budding. Inspected as best as I could didn’t see any signs of rot. Forecast doesn’t look any worse for the next week. Only ones that look ready are the seeded ones that have immature seeds. If I can’t smoke it I’d like to get some seed even if it means I lose some to rot.

One pic, Stardawg x RAB, not as fat as the other one, smells and looks totally different smells strongly like straight gas, no seeetness like the other. IMG_0856.jpeg

Oh man she's pretty !

Yeah Hail, Rain, and Wind... We normally get wind and rain storms in October, as the seasons are changing, and I've totally had plants snap in half, or, had branches snap right off from it. That weird wooden structure in my garden is there for that very reason; They grow up into it, and the top part of the plant can lay on those if it gets beaten down hard. We had a pretty windy day yesterday, and the 7 Sins was literally bent over. Put a rod in the pot and propped her back up because the resin was not fully milk yet, so, she is going to wait.

yes sir, have had the same in the past. I fully expected to find plants laying on the ground but they looked good. Growing on public land I can't really build structures, so I cut V-shaped branches, like you'd use to hold your fishing pole up. Doesn't always work the best when the wind really whips but seems to be holding up for now.

Right now it's 44f with 15-25mph wind, highest gust 38mph and of course rain. Heading off to check the 8 left on the back property.

Those Stardawg X Rab are beautiful 😍
Thanks dude, 2 of 3 females were really nice, the other wasn't as good, but I just tried a tester off it after just over a week of drying, just dry enough to burn. It has a really nice flavor and a good stone. Certainly not a bad plant, just not as nice as the other two. I almost took a cut off the one out back that was the biggest and sweetest smelling but I have other plans for the winter indoors so I didn't bother.

Thanks for looking.

Chopped two more out back. A Mango Dripz and a HG plant. Found a small spot of rot on a lower on the Mango Dripz, she looked ready for a week now, kept forgetting my scope to take a close look. Didn’t see anymore after taking the fan leaves off. Looked as well as my old bad eyes allowed. She had the heavy leaning tower look. Was going to grab a couple more pics but of course as soon as I started defoliating it started raining pretty hard, 45f and rain sucks.

Ey i labeled mine maitaipie x moac
Now i am small kine trippin! Ooops

I know u arent too stoked about all the seeds but the plants look frosty still. For me some genetics dial back on smells or resin production after getting pollinated heavy. So i like to esp keep around the plants that keep it all going, make seeds, and dont miss a beat.

After a week or so of drying i will start to squeeze seeds out. I feel like a caveman sometimes bc it can be alittle rough on buds.
But that gets me some finger hash and i will press the other material, sometimes at a friends who has an actual press instead of caveman hair straightener stomping 😅
This forum makes me want to try going the dry sift route, dry ice route or invest in a press somehow!

I guess i am saying it isnt a total loss if the plant still got some mojo. And i understand its a bummer to not try unseeded top nugs.

I have a super old coworker that loves seeded bud. Doesnt mind at all. He cant see too good so imagine all his joints are popping!
