Cheese

I grew Alien my first year and my son said it would be cat piss. Cured out it was moderately of cat piss and alfalfa. Grassy alfalfa smell isn't entirely unusual on the first burping but I could not cure the grass smell out of it no matter how long. I don't know if cat piss whiff is a trait common to various Alien strains or not but I don't want to grow what I had then any more.

Alfalfa would be an odd terpene profile for sure. Man I don't think I've ever sniffed that before in a bud.

You ever grown out any of the older Cheese crosses ?
I haven't, no. The only cheese I've tried to grow was Fastbuds "Original" auto cheese, also my first year. I coined a word just for them, Chernobylistic. I'm game af to include a cheese in next years grow. I've had good cheese just never grew any, but I liked what I had real well and if the genetics are good you can't go wrong with it in my book.

Ohhhhh yes! You should totally do that! Depending on which ones you've enjoyed personally, there's a lot of options :) My first grow was Blue Cheese, which has always been a favorite, and I also "thought" I was done popping seeds for the season but, nope, the Susie Cream Cheese seedling outside had to be popped so I don't run out of that one LOL. I also really like the way Blueberry Cheesecake by Brisco's is going. She's a monster, and has some incredible lineage in her! Cheeselicious (Exodus Cheese cutting X OG Kush) X Blueberry Hashplant!!

Susie is the same Cheeselicious but with Strawberry Starburst crossed in instead of the BBHP.

Cheetos has also had my attention each day in the garden; Exodus Cheese X Sour Diesel. She's taken off pretty fast too, and is one of the largest plants. Even catching up with the Alpha Skunk Cheese, Blueberry Cheesecake, and Skywalker, which are huge.

Dead Whabbits also has me out there drooling. Dead Whabbits is Cheetos X Carcass Skunk, and is growing nicely I must say. The smell.... Whew!

Blue Buffalo has some incredible lineage too! She's been growing good, and has some CBD crossed into a Blue Cheese and GMO cross so I'm excited to see how that turns out :)

The UK Cheese from CSI is also a nice plant that I'll be cloning.

Black Cheese went from being a few inches tall, to bushing out into a tree recently too :)

As far as I know none of my meat world grow buddies are growing any cheese. Most of us have grown mostly the same strains in the same season because we're all getting clones from the same place and I'm ready to break out of that sameyness and choose for myself what I'm doing, where it comes from. We all do a little swapping around after the harvest if anybody has a strain we didn't all get. I really need to try to keep it to 5 plants until my state sorts out what they're doing. But yeah man I'm going to try real hard to get my hands on some cheese beans and have at least one strain of it next year.

Man that Blue Cheese I grew 3 rounds ago is prime cured now!
My wifes grinds a tiny nug and the neighbors look outside!

Oh it makes me so happy to hear that :) Given the sheer number of times I've bugged someone to try Blue Cheese LOL. She a pungent one I know that!

I did a little digging. Here's the 710 cheese I grew.

So, today I was looking on Google at elite cuts, as I know next to nothing about them, and wanted to learn a little, and I came across this, and now.... I have to find out...

Clone-Only Strains in South Africa

While what we have as South African differs from what came from the United States, there is even still rich local history around some specific cuts that have stuck around and been passed around for decades now. Cheese is a strain that saw a number of unique genotypes pop up. I use the term genotype because phenotype expressions can change based on environments, but the genotype refers specifically to the genetic makeup of that cut.

OK.... Now, I'm reading this, for the first time, and I am now curious at WTF they mean... Cheese Genotypes popped up ? Anyone here have any info about this at all ?
