HBZ and Amos were reminiscing about Paradise Seeds Wappa earlier.

Looked it up, and found a description of their Cheese that isn't on the seedfinder.

England’s Finest... The Original Cheese needs no introduction. It is a classic variety, a homegrown English strain that has brought a new meaning to the word pungent.

Originally developed in the UK in the 1980s, Cheese had a brief ride around the Amsterdam coffeeshop scene before the Super Skunk invasion. It went away but returned in the 1990s, widely believed to have been developed by Exodus a legendary UK collective famed for their underground parties.

You’ll notice that we name ours, Original Cheese (IBL), because that’s what it is. In 2003, through good fortune and the generosity of a red eyed acquaintance in London, we negotiated ourselves an original female Cheese clone. We intended to cross it with other varieties, but at the end of the day this is one classic that deserves to be preserved in its purest form.

The line is strong with this one. From the original clone we have bred a plant that retained all its best qualities, with the added benefits of boosted stability, more potency and yield potential. As the grower would expect, this is a plant that consistently performs delivering a product that is unmistakable in smell and taste.

Part of the popularity of the cheese strain is its adaptability, providing consistency when growing indoor or outdoor. Expect this plant to yield big, with chunky buds that reach parts other skunks can’t.

As for the effect, once you have learnt to love that pungent aroma, you will be back for more. The Original Cheese is full power. It will reach out and grab you, ready or not, so make sure your tasks are done, that phone call to grandma has been dealt with and the cat has been fed!

Man I gotta tell you; There's very little I'd do for a Klondike Bar, but for an original cut of Cheese ??? Oh man..... I'd do more for that than I would 5,000 dollars LOL. I'm so glad I'm not the only person who's like "Nah even though they named a Phenotype a different strain, it's so interesting and different that we need to keep that around!".

You ever smoked any UK or Exodus Cheese ?

That Wappa I've never actually heard of, sounds very interesting :)

Cheese, Chemdog, and Super Skunk all in one genetic..... We need a hard nipple reaction on this site! Bro that sounds wonderful !!!! Thanks for adding to my list :)

No Cheese experience for me. The Confidential Cheese will be the first. Still alive! Will seriously try and get an update posted this week.

Definitely seems like you're about to lead a cheese revival of some sort!!!

Has anyone tried Alter Ego's Cheese F2? Seems promising.
Personally I've not run that but after reading that they basically did a preservation run of Cheese, I'd have to say it's probably great! Seems like they nailed the climate data to; hot and cold both lol.

I'm not sure yet if every Cheese has this in it's genetics, but Blue Cheese seems to really enjoy cooler weather making it a wonderful addition to a northern outdoor garden, or a winter run where you don't use a heater. I've had clones out when it was 30 degrees and the tips of the buds will turn purple and, if you can get the 20 or so degree temp drop during flower you get that "Blue Hue" :)

Found a site I'm reading through and thought I'd add it here too:

Say Cheese! Forget that, roll it up! Let’s smoke that dank fire! Cheese isn’t just something you eat on a burger or pizza, and it’s not just something you say when you get ready to snap a pic. Cheese is also a phenomenal strain of cannabis. If you have ever had the pleasure of smoking some Cheese that was flowered to perfection, then you know what I’m talking about. For me, the Cheese strain has an incredibly sweet earthy flavor that is almost like the strain Roadkill Skunk minus the dead animal funk. It has a pungent flavor that definitely could be described as cheesy. Not cheesy as in a slice of Velveeta but cheesy as in an aged block of sharp cheddar.

Cheese typically runs around 80% Indica dominant with an average THC level of around 20%. Despite this being an Indica, many people have enjoyed the uplifting and creative effects of this cannabis strain for decades now. Cheese has not always been around. There is a really cool story that explains how this unique phenotype came to be. In America, Cheese is often called Exodus Cheese or UK Cheese. But, where Cheese comes from, they just call it Cheese. That’s because the strain of cannabis originated in the UK. Sit back, pack a bowl, load your dab rig, or roll a fatty, and get ready for a little elevated reading on how the cannabis strain Cheese came to be.

It All Started with Sacred Seeds

There was a group in California called Sacred Seeds. They were affiliated with legendary cannabis growers, geneticists, and genetic purveyors such as Mendocino Joe, Maple Leaf Wilson, David Watson, and others. Sacred Seeds was where it was at if you wanted quality beans that produced bodacious buds. Before it was legal, and before many people even thought of it, you could buy these seeds through a very popular cannabis enthusiast magazine at the time. These seeds started going out everywhere.

Of course, the federal government didn’t care for this much and eventually put a stop to it. Sacred Seeds was raided in 1982. The federal government was confident they had put a stop to the potent, pungent, strong marijuana that was taking over the world known as Skunk. Many people referred to the original Skunk as Roadkill Skunk because it smelt just like a dead skunk in a bag. You either loved it or hated it. Moving forward, David Watson, AKA Sam the Skunkman, managed to grab some clones and a sack of seeds and made his way to Amsterdam. This goes into a different part of the story, so we’ll stop here and continue with Cheese. Because of the work, Sam the Skunkman Man did to develop Roadkill Skunk, the Cheese phenotype came to be.

Introducing the Exodus Collective

People everywhere we’re ordering Skunk seeds from the magazine. Some of those seeds made their way to a special group of people in the UK known as The Exodus Collective. In the marsh farm area located in Luton, England, The Exodus Collective was formed in 1992. They were basically a group of individuals who formed a DIY culture that embraced community collective living. It was a little like a commune, in a way. Everybody pitched in, and everything was shared. The group started hosting amazing rave parties. At these parties, one of the ways they would raise extra cash was by selling the cannabis they had grown. Cheese became a staple of an Exodus Collective party. Ask anyone who attended one of these events, and they will often refer to the sweet flavor of Cheese and the aroma of Cheese in the air while telling stories of listening to music and dancing till the sun came up. This paints a very different picture than the typical 80% Indica dominant couch lock buzz strain description we see referencing the effects of the Cheese strain today.

So just how did The Exodus Collective get their hands-on Cheese? The answer to that question is they didn’t. They actually grew the Roadkill Skunk that everyone craved. When you had this bud, you had no problem selling it. Someone in The Exodus Collective had Roadkill Skunk seeds or the original Skunk seeds from Sacred Seeds. They planted their beans, and the next thing you know, this funky tree appeared that wasn’t the normal Skunk. Rumor has it that when it was harvested, people were in a room preparing to trim it, and someone said, this weed smells like Cheese. From that day forward, the name stuck, and the Exodus Collective would go down in cannabis legend as being responsible for the discovery of the Cheese phenotype and the continuance of its genetics.

The Many Types of Cheese

What they started has reached around the globe. The Cheese strain of cannabis can be found from coast to coast in the United States. However, all Cheese is not created equally. There are also many different hybrids of Cheese today. You will find different varieties like OG Cheese, Triple Cheese, Blue Cheese, Big Buddha Cheese, White Cheese, Cheese Candy, and many others. If you have never got a chance to try UK cheese or Exodus cheese, give yourself the opportunity to. The next time you’re in a dispensary, ask them for some Cheese please, and if they don’t have it, ask them to please get some or go on the hunt to find some. This is definitely a strain of cannabis most every consumer will want to have tried at least once!

Well unfortunately thats kind of always been part of the UK Cheese legend, either that it wont reverse or if it does the pollen isnt viable. And my experience with Cheese S1s kind of supports that, none of the ones Ive tried produced particularly cheesy results. Ive had better luck with crosses. Of course im going to be running a cross that supposedly used reversed exodus cheese pollen shortly in your honor so we shall see if the trend holds!

Icmag is a pretty good spot for strain info though. They have the best guide to Bohdi gear around posted there and are the only place with extensive documentation on OldTimer's skunk work. Ive never been a member but i find myself landing there frequently when hunting strain info.

I'm hopeful that these people were full of it myself. In the meantime I'm gonna track down as many crosses as I can but I truly want the original someday. Even if I have to drop kick a raver lol.

Now there's one I'd like to hook into!!!
They had skunk 1 and it was a pheno of it. Fuckers like to embellish alot. Like Ken and the origin of gdp.

Oh bro if you could have seen my face reading that lol. Yeah legit a pheno, and apparently the Exodus Collective used to pressure people not to breed with Cheese because it was "their" thing..... lol!

Yeah, those were the ones. I never found anything cheesey in mine, just some typical Skunk #1 type plants. Certainly not bad but nothing to match the UK Cheese hype. Most of what Ive run from CSI has been great so Im not sure what the deal is there. I think @HydroRed ran some as well but I cant remember if he found better results than I did
