Is there anything that you've grown that came across as particularly cheesy?
Nothing comes to mind. The closest terp profile I've found across different strains is sour cream. I had an Appalachian Super Skunk (Bodhi) that had the sour cream and recently tried Dino's Hashtastrophe that had sour cream. If you were to breakdown cheese to components like fungal, dairy, funky, sour, etc., then I've found all of those as part of different bouquets but nothing that smells exactly and exclusively like cheese.

That white buffalo x Ak47 pheno I used to make buffalo Buttonz is goat pukey cheesy..It's definitely got that old cheese smack...My mom had one outdoor this year and said it was beyond offensive trimming. Same as what I remember...quite different than anything I've smelled before

This was my experience with CSI Cheese S1 as well. Mostly sweet skunks, nothing approaching a cheesy or offensive smell.
That's sad news there

The mystery male cross of Blue Cheese I did this year, Susie Cream Cheese from this year, Chocolate Cheese a little bit, and other Blue Cheese I've ran but only after curing. Seems to be a theme in my experience. Sometimes it's a pungent creamy scent, and sometimes it's not unlike nacho Cheese from a can I've gotten, but those also had other smells come in too so it wasn't the only thing you'd smell. Susie Cream Cheese..... that one has changed since starting flower VS when it was getting plucked; she started out with a candy Strawberry scent that gave way to a Cheese funk, and slowly as she matured and we started pulling her, it was straight Limburger Cheese. Like lip curl when you smell it proper stinky Cheese smell. Almost rancid in nature and a proper makes your legs wabble effect.

I'm pretty sure this is the Cheeselicious (Exodus Cheese X OG Kush) that is doing this. I've got a single seed of that Cheeselicious and I'm waiting until I've got a permanent tent to pop that. Can't risk losing that one.

The sour Cheese smell came through on that cross I've found; like sour skunky cat piss and Cheese after a cure. Before that it was just sour skunky cat piss, but the cure gave it that Cheese.

Believe me, I'm rooting for you! According to that site I'll have to essentially fly to England to actually track down a cutting and keep my mouth shut to get the real deal lol.

OK I'm a bit confused here :

The genetics on this essentially show what I'd expect to see for Cheese.... Was this a cross that isn't named or they tried to rename it ? The fuck?

Also saw these today:

^ That one grew up with an abusive Dad.... LOL.

^ Anyone ran this before ?? That's Chemdog in there!

Yeah, those were the ones. I never found anything cheesey in mine, just some typical Skunk #1 type plants. Certainly not bad but nothing to match the UK Cheese hype. Most of what Ive run from CSI has been great so Im not sure what the deal is there. I think @HydroRed ran some as well but I cant remember if he found better results than I did
I did run those, but iirc I had some dampen off so my numbers werent good for hunting. I dont remember getting anything that I would keep around from them much like mentioned already. best cheese Ive ever encountered was a cut of Skunk #1 (Exodus) back in the early 2000's maybe that was straight cheesy funk that you would expect from this kind of strain name. Had I known how special she would be, I'd still be running it. Second honorable mention was a DNA "Confidential Cheese" cut I got about 8-9 yrs back. It was superb and I loved it, but made my wife gag from the stench just drying a couple small tops in the house.

Bro.... you saw THE cut ???? Here in the Mitten??? That hand fanning myself isn't enough for this news.... now I just need to figure out how to get Doctor Who to bring the TARDIS here....lol damn it.

Hey if you find that Cheese funk again and your Wife is like "Hell naw" just hit me up, I'll drive over for that lol. I had no idea the actual cutting was ever here....

*sigh* the price of gas these days, VS the cost of a flight to England and bail money.... I'm probably better off driving through Ann Arbor with the window down smelling for it lol. My birthday is in like a week and a half, maybe I can sniff my way through a few areas by then haha.

If one of us ends up finding a keeper, and it's me, I'm sending cuttings to all you guys to make sure we know where it is lol.like off-site back up copies.
