After the big Hi-YaY, ✂ I filled in the openings with some more of the same.

This allows me to circle back to my original project for this season in making some BlueRipper f2s. I should be able to get all the GG75 pollen cleared before this next group starts its flowering. I then can isolate and collect BlueRipper pollen and dust the keeper cuts of BlueRipper and GG4. This should get me a head start on clearing out some space for popping new beans.

I have been using the 2-part MegaCrop for a couple of months and it has been doing a wonderful job. I like that it doesn't use the brown molasses anymore and makes for some nice looking roots.

This was from when I moved the BlueRipper to the bigger container. She was so packed in I had a hard time getting out of her solo cup.

This was done with the best information I could find. Accuracy as always is up for debate.(y)

Here are some past shots of my Keeper Cut which I call the "juicy fruit" pheno.:passjhomie:

She checks a lot of boxes for me with her smells, flavors, squat stature, intense stacking, and bulbous bud size. She definitely has a higher than the desired leaf proliferation, but not as much as her sister the #2 from my previous post.

Check this comparison:

All the BlueRippers I have gotten into stack up like nobodies business. They also show to be a little shaggy from leaf production. This also comes from there lack of stretch in general. The keeper cut likes to push out the nug meat a little better than her sister which I feel is worth a little bit of leaf.

My personal belief for sure-fire seed making is to run the male with the female together and stay as natural as possible. Let them do what they would do just like in nature. :coin:With that said, pollen collection and selective branch breeding techniques suits my current lifestyle well. In the past, I have tried a few different methods, some with failures and some with success. Keeping everything dry is the key

This is where those past processes have led me to:

Keeping the plant material out of the pollen as much as possible is what I have been going for lately. :stoned: Being hunch over a pile of dry male flowers trying to separate out the plant material is about as painful as trimming elbows. If some of the plant material is left inside it could release its moisture while it's being stored and it'll leave me with a clump of yellow chalk.

I was able to dive into the veg tent and get the round loaded up. Starting off with the Sunny D OG x Sin City Juice selections

They both were placed into their final containers. I was able to trim on them some and do a little training. I am adding this BlueRipper to the next run.

This is the phenotype I chopped on earlier. She will be nice to see under the lights. I also have a healthy rooted cut of CandyMan by Shoreline. Gifted to me by @Idlewilder

She'll be sticking around a run or two. This cut is starting to fill in its new shoes and is looking healthy.

Did you have any twins with the blue rippers?

I had one with the f1s and got 2/10 in the Bx1s. @groerr mentioned one of the parents of f1 was a twin the bluberry I believe. Was hoping for a boy and girl but ended up with 2 girls, may have to practice reversing for a genetic experiment.

Not that I have seen with what I have made with her so far. Maybe the f2's will unlock some more of those genetic traits he was experiencing.

Awesome colors on the Tomahawk and Ripper?
Following along

Glad to have a fellow hempy user around. I am in perlite only as a medium and am using MegaCrop 2-part most of the time. I did some automation watering myself. I have converted a flood and drain unit to feed the hempy solo cups once a day. I believe I'm headed to flood and drain coco at some point, but for now hempy's where my gardens at.
