That GG4 male pollen you collected from a reversed GG4 S1?
Nope. The GG75 male is the son of a S1 (pictured above)and a selected male Tomahawk. The old man was all dog shit and chocolate on the nose which I liked in comparison to his brothers. He also proved to be the most vigorous. His son (GG75) did capture his strength and resilience, but not his nose.

Hearty looking male!
Thanks @HydroRed .

Him and his sister were selected from a group of a dozen. I originally planted the group just to get a look at them. Mid-Summer I made a decision to focus more on the group as other plans stalled and changed.

Getting into these, I can see that the line is fairly narrow to begin with. I attribute that to it deriving from an S1 selection. The growth patterns held slight variances that mostly showed between genders. A couple of males showed dominance and strength. This keeper won out over his older brother by the way he reacted to getting topped. He tighten up a bit and made a consistent bush type structure. His brother, who was just as vigorous, decided to open up and stretch out too much for my liking.

Here are the final results of this rounds pollen collection attempt. I'll be out and about with the✂ removing the male from the garden and doing some final clean up. I also will be bringing down all the indoor flowering girls. Some final shots of those coming later tonight.

GG4s1 x BlueRipper

The mother is a selected phenotype using seed stock from Dankonomics. He was using a cut of the winner of the 2014 Michigan cannabis cup in some of his work. That clone was feminized using root manipulation, no colloidal silver or STS was used to create the seed. During my selection process, I used stock from other breeders and I found that all phenotypes using the root manipulation method ended up being considerably stable in comparison. The mother I used has been run multiple times and she consistently produces bulbous rock hard nugs that reek of citrus acid. She has nodal elongation once flowering is initiated, but isn't extreme like her brethren. She has great bag appeal, and a high that is heady and memorable.

The father seed stock comes from work done by a Canadian medical grower. @Groeer found himself a vigorous female of Jack the Ripper from TGA genetics that smelt like roadkill skunk. He used pollen from a male BlueBerry and created BlueRipper. He treated multiple patients as he worked the line for a few years before disappearing. With the seed stock, he provided I have grown out multiple females and males alike. Not one has disappointed. I was able to find a male that had a lot of traits that I desired. He grew so hardy and squat that I was certain he was a female. His nodal spacing was tight and consistent, his fragrance was the loudest out of the group. Come flower his stretching in minimal and he reaks like a stink bug, giving you a pungent scent that will flare up high in your nasal cavity, very eye-opening. All of his sisters developed sweet gas by the end of flower that has the same eye-opening effect. I was able to find a very sweet and sticky candy-like female from the same stock that has been a very nice producer that I have also used in some projects.

My goals with the Gorilla Blues project are to select down the line toward a hardy great structure plant layering in some of these sweet gassy flavors while maintaining the flower density, trichomes, and potency provided by the mother.

This was done with the best information I could find. Accuracy as always is up for debate.(y)
I was always under the impression it was BB x JTR because that is how groerr referred to it with me. It was getting at me so I went and searched.
I was wrong. Thanks for the work and making me go back and do a little digging.

@SSGrower I was referring to it the same way for awhile. Probably for the same reasons.
My pm's with him seem to be gone, his avitar dosen't appear in searches since they did a format change. The hole will get deeper here for me because I want to find out which side the twin was on. Right now its a coinflip cause I have it in my mind as the female but I had that wrong so....

Woke up to a red sunrise due to the smoke from the wildfires. :dogsmoke: The GG75 male got pulled and cleared out a few days ago. I went in for some shots of the mothers.

I'll be going out this afternoon with some "Plant Therapy" and do a little IPM. My goal is to not only treat but also use the moisture to clear out excess pollen that might be lingering. ? The goal is to get the next pollen maker blooming and ready for collection.

Today he is starting to show ? :

Doing my best to get some progress shots of this BlueRipper male. Don't mind the ash.

Seeing this on flower formations on this male is a good sign. It seems to be a dominant trait for the group and should make for some interesting projects later on. He does have an average male stretch on lower nodal growth and is opening up somewhat. Very nice to see this top flower naturally fill in once flowers form. He's looking healthy and happy.

His first flowers look to be of decent size and are making a good looking cluster fairly early on. His stem rub and scent haven't developed to anything different as of yet and he still reeks of stink bug.
