Oh my.. that's horrible, Herk! That's a pretty heavy infestation. I'm not even sure it would be worth even trying to save at this point. I know how attached we all get to plants, especially ones we've put so much time and energy into, and how hard it is. But, it would be best to just cut your losses and get that thing out of there before it makes it's way into your other tent. Definitely don't want it spreading, that's for sure. Hope you figure it out sooner rather than later bud?
My thoughts exactly I'm gonna spray & remove the plant rather than risk my other tent I'm just tripped out because I havent found a bug yet even using the loupe just the webbing it would be nice to identify it but not at the expense of the other tent that I'm gonna hit with some neem as a preventative measure
If you share your medicine with anyone at all, I would highly recommend washing your buds from the other tents as well...
Fortunately I've got nothing budding now treatment starts tomorrow morning when the hydro shop opens

All of those things in the webs are the mites

Yeah, I don't know what strength loupe your using but spider mites are really hard to see individually. But the tents are a pretty sure sign, like I said, there's really nothing else that does that to cannabis, especially indoors... if you had tent caterpillars you'd know it.

Big question I'd be asking though is how they got there.... did you bring any plants in from your outdoor stuff?

Getting that plant out is a must.., But you already have them in the other and in the area's your using..
That problem has been going on for months you just haven't seen it ....

You're going to need to slow your roll, on the flip.. big dog..
You need a few weeks hitting your plants and tents with a few diff things..

BH.. gave alot of good info..

I would be saying fuck the hydo store, and get yo a Lowe's or Home Depot NOW Today..and start hitting them hard...
I hit them with Jack's for 2 days then right yo neem oil for 4 day's then right back to Jack's.....

Bomb that area a few times, then keep going....
Just my 2 cents worth.
Good luck

I have like 4-6 loupes or hydro store versions and I can’t ever see shit or get a good harvest trich % test,

usb 1x-1000x microscope for the win ;)

whenever I get clones, that’s the first action and weekly looks at my plants visually and under the scope

someone listed above pest bombs, good luck Is my answer cause mites will just laugh or barely die off (price per can vs what it does vs a good foliar is way too expensive and less aggressive ). I suggest if your in veg go knockout I decided and if you wanna do illegal but it’s actually super safe use evergreen 5.0 and rotate with biocontrol s and even mix with venerate or Grandevo and you’ll have both knockout and biocontrols .

evegreen is 150+ soft bodied knockout and it’s so safe they even spray cattle with it for flies and misc. it’s deprived from Tanacetum cinerariifolium flower heads (Pyrethrum)

for 50 bucks that stuff will fight so many pests and be a great knockout, key is rotation and it’s limited to a certain amounts used for season because of resistant will happen if you don’t, preety much all traditional pesticides are That way besides biocontrols .

I only use these kind of knockouts when visually seeing a pest and need that extra bang for resistant reasons and cost per gallon for a IPM.

My reasons for the bomb are 6 bucks for 4 cans is in my eyes cheap for a fist hit on this problem...
He has more then 1 insect I would be willing to bet..
Has no idea's where they are and he is in a room with tent's..so I would also bet there in the floor, behind thing's, maybe up in the ac ducts...anything in the closet needs to be address at this point. Just spraying the ant isn't going to end this..

So if you can knock down even 10% of your problem with a fast bombing think it's worth it..
If you're buying online it will take s few day's to get the stuff...
Walmart is open now....

bombs are A claim it’s gonnea clean and kill all your pest ( it won’t and it will need to be applied many times, which won’t work cause mites become resistant to traditional fast ) , look what they are made and deprived from besides the miticides that are only for true ag and never intended for indoors. It’s just Pyrethrin dominantly , and 10x the cost vs just getting some evergreen 5.0

evergreen 5.0,that stuff could be at your door anywhere in USA within 1-5 days with free ship

it’s 3x cheaper Than pyganic 5.0, what’s the differance in both products (evegreen vs pyganic 5.0) ? Absolutely nothing but a label that explains it’s safe for organics and such, I’m good on 3x price from same company and there’s no risk or concentration differnace . their products are so much more conception and better price than pyrethrum-concentrates from hydro stores or places like Home Depot .

its like captain jacks vs conserve sc, 22x stronger . Ain’t paying for water or unicorn claims ;)

You do realize it’s just a extract and synthetic version of Pyrethrum? I just choose to do non extracts and people playing with such . the dollar vs risk vs the orginal and organic extract works perfect. Why fuck with lab made When you can apply organic extract and same prices.

Makes sense. Always wondered why the names were so similar sounding

I didn't, but permithren is some really nasty shit that I would never use indoors. Don't know if the synthetic version is more concentrated or something but the one we use for tick prevention is gnarly. I hate even using it but can't risk my crew getting lymes or Rocky mountain when we go into areas with a bad tick problem. But when we soak clothes with it the instructions say to air them out for 48 hours before you wear them and we always treat them outdoors

Not stepping on anyone’s views or ways, just trying to help the info on such products .

realize this that stuff or organic version is safe ( I just support the organic deprived verison cause there isn’t vooodo applied and it’s not cheaper ) on even spraying cattle and by factor even for example against azamax or many that use bad based oils, it still is safer And plants won’t be stressed .

you also aided the comment of applying to clothes , thing is if you read in the manual for PPE for they must wear coveralls ( never use em again and throw away) and to never re-wash with other clothes. Like most tradional pesticides . But it’s so safe you can even spray ur self down like a cattle and it’s never been proven on their testing or inputs from people that it does not have major impact on humans .as long as they follow instructions.

the only reason mainly for outdoors you shouldn’t use it if you were a field sprayer like airplane or mass field sprayers and it will kill any bug as long as it’s not hard shelled, like bees and beneficial bugs. but using when bees aren’t around like before sunset and not spraying like fog/large mass amounts in the air . You shouldn’t be doing much of a factor on negativity .

and to answer the question on systemic action of both products, no it’s not systemic in anyway and infact the benefit it has short life span after sprayed . Only reason they “don’t allow” indoors cause if you had carpet or dry wall or anything absorbable and the company doesn’t want to deal with the blame of such , you could spray and for example a animal or human could trace it onto them or around their house, for legal reasons that’s why they don’t recommend such. If it’s a “indoor grow room” meaning you are able to clean surfaces and your not walking barefoot and letting ppe policy of waiting their. Recommended time before entry. Your safe as can be

the key with those products they knockout the pest and As long as you rotate and keep in their limit per cycle it’s one of the best defenses out there in veg mode for cannabis , love its defense for my veggies + biocontrols

it’d so safe you can spray ur dog down and rinse em off after the knock works , company even did it on their video

Yeah, I've just seen people have some bad skin reactions too it (the inorganic kind, not the organic stuff) . But like I said, maybe the stuff we used was more concentrated than the kind they use for AG. I'm certainly neither a farmer nor a chemist.

When I was in forestry there were several people on the crew that had to use alternative treatments because they would get crazy rashes from clothes that had been treated. I always just tried to be vigilant cause I don't like using chemicals of any kind on myself but those days working in the dense thickets in Central MA made me cave sometimes.... you'd look down sometimes and have dozens of the suckers climbing up your pants. I've been bit more times than I can recall, it's amazing I've never contracted anything from it.

Anyways, I just remembered we're in Herks journal.... sorry for the hijack man. Whatever you do hope your able to rid yourself of those little buggers.
