Everything horribleherk 2021 journal

OK picked this up this morning z& ordered bonide sulfur giving the first spraying this morning I have diabetic retinopathy in both eyes & getting shots directly in both eyes for it so my vision not as keen as I would like stuff a normal person spots not as easy for me that's how I miss a lot of spell check stuff on my posts but all said I've began biological warfare on the mites first round today 20210201_103623.jpg

This is the first signs of what I thought was a nutrient deficiency or lockout due to ph maybe being off just yellowing of the lower fan leaves this is the sin city juice in the 4x4 tent at a glance I would of swore it was nutrients causing the issue which at this stage appeared no cause for great alarm20210201_120500.jpg20210201_120426.jpg20210201_120412.jpg20210201_120406.jpg

As they advanced I got leaf drooping & clawing that I thought was due to low temps farther compounding my misdiagnosis warming up the climate only improved their breeding ground until the plant got serious sick & all the growth yellow & deformed this is the Big N Tasty in the 3x3 today I want to keep this in spite of the fact I would be farther ahead to cut my losses but this strain is currently sold out so I cant just run out & buy another one I'm wanting to take a clone as soon as I have something I feel healthy enough20210201_120932.jpg

Yeah, I don't know what strength loupe your using but spider mites are really hard to see individually. But the tents are a pretty sure sign, like I said, there's really nothing else that does that to cannabis, especially indoors... if you had tent caterpillars you'd know it.

Big question I'd be asking though is how they got there.... did you bring any plants in from your outdoor stuff?
I think they came from my vegetable garden

You’re better off getting rid of that plant, I know it’s hard when you spend so much time watching it grow but I think you’ll only regret it trying to keep it around longer. The infestestation is WAY too severe. If your other tent is in the same area they will make their way over there as the leaves on here continue to die out. Also don’t go to the other tent after you open this one without changing clothes first or make this tent the last stop, they are so tiny you wouldn’t even know they’re on you! Spider Mites give me the heebie jeebies, hopefully you can beat em.

Yeah, I've just seen people have some bad skin reactions too it (the inorganic kind, not the organic stuff) . But like I said, maybe the stuff we used was more concentrated than the kind they use for AG. I'm certainly neither a farmer nor a chemist.

When I was in forestry there were several people on the crew that had to use alternative treatments because they would get crazy rashes from clothes that had been treated. I always just tried to be vigilant cause I don't like using chemicals of any kind on myself but those days working in the dense thickets in Central MA made me cave sometimes.... you'd look down sometimes and have dozens of the suckers climbing up your pants. I've been bit more times than I can recall, it's amazing I've never contracted anything from it.

Anyways, I just remembered we're in Herks journal.... sorry for the hijack man. Whatever you do hope your able to rid yourself of those little buggers.
No need to apologize I don't trip on people speaking their minds that's where I get a lot of useful information that might be useful down the road

They're already in the other tent the good fight is on lol

I was wondering what was going on I figured it was either ph and overwatering. But when u said temps I was like ok that make sense . Live and learn. After this ur preventative maintenance will he rock solid . I had mites a long time ago and I still am paranoid about it.

Where I used to live in the san Joaquin valley it was a yearly event but these mites are different you cant see them with the naked eye I'm sure I caught the 4x4 tent early enough to ward off any real damage which is my main concern as I'm close to flipping them20210201_160554.jpg20210201_160859.jpg20210201_160918.jpg

After looking close at the bottom side of some of the most infested leaves I decided to wait until Thursday to spray again sunday I'm switching to a neem based spray I'm seeing almost zero mites after the first spraying I'm gonna turn off the power & bleach the entire room 20210202_160119.jpg
