Seen this and since they're fishing ships I figured its game. This would have me puking my guts out and suddenly becoming religious.

Funny ass video...I have known this guy for like 45 years...great Capt....even bigger goofball...but this time goofing around he got got. This all started as satire but a mistake by the mate, and it turned serious quick.
EDIT...cannot post the full video...

Yes...it was a Blacktip...don't know why they gaffed it as if you reach over and pick them up with one hand on top of the gills and one on the tail and drop him on the deck, then smack him on the head and slit his gills, tail rope him and throw him over to swim and bleed out...I mean that is how he taught me to do it if you are going to keep a black fin, spinner or mako...the only good sharks to eat.? ? ? HE GOT ME! HE GOT ME! HE GOT ME!
Errrrrr do you think it might have got him ???
He’s lucky it wasn’t a Wobbegong shark or he’d still be getting it off
Get in my bellyDozen King George , a few squid ?
When I commercially fished for Shark during the 90s we’d slice the top half of the tail fin off and gut and remove the bloodline from the roof of the stomach wall near the spine then flush i with water for an hour or two to help release the ammonia and excess blood . Our Northern areas of Australia they’d commercially fish for Blacktip shark but it was considered low grade flesh while down south we had a much better quality of shark with a multitude of species being School shark, Gummy Shark, Hammerheads of the smaller variety , Bronze whaler, Spotted Saw shark , Seven Gill shark etc . Was hard work and back then we got about $5.00 a kilo ( yes metric ?) . I know only too well what can happen if you aren’t aware of how to handle a shark . Not unlike a snake I guess. I had a Snapper get hold of my finger one day. Not much fun at all ?. Wobbegong Shark were the on deck . They’d literally live for hours out of the water and happily have a go at you as you walked past them while they lay on deck waiting to be gutted .
